Saw the roof they put on my neighbors’ house. So beautiful I had to have it. They did a beautiful job. Arrived when they said they would and finished when they said. Very responsive.

Great company! Nick was excellent to work with. He kept me informed every step of the way and made all of the arrangements for my new roof. Materials were delivered promptly. The crew showed up on time and worked steadily in 90-degree humidity. They spread out a tarp on my front lawn to catch the old roofing materials as they were thrown down from the roof and carefully protected my landscaping. Clean-up was fast, and a parked trash trailer in front of the house was used to collected the debris. After the crew left, another On Top worker came to run a magnet over my lawn and driveway to collect stray nails. When he was done, he hooked up the trash trailer and took it all away. My new roof looks super, it only took 10 hours, and there isn't a hint that anyone was there! AND, the pricing was reasonable. It's a pleasure to work with a company that is fair with its pricing, provides excellent service, and makes it easy for the customer! I highly recommend this company.

I can’t speak highly enough about On Top Home Improvements, Inc., Dan and Kim Cox, and their roofing crew. I received estimates from several local roofing companies that I selected primarily from roofing contractors rated highly in the Washington Consumer Checkbooks magazine and other rating services. On Top quickly provided a clear and very competitive estimate, in a folder that also included Certificates of Liability and Workers’ Compensation Insurance Coverage, copies of MHIP and construction licenses, references, manufacturer’s product and warranty information, and detailed information about the cost and scope of the work to be done, as well as additional options and types of work that they perform. Everything I needed to know or wanted to ask about was provided for me before I had to ask. Although I didn’t use it, they even offered three, six or nine month in-house financing options.
I requested a few modifications to the initial proposal that were handled courteously and promptly. Once I authorized the work to begin, it was scheduled and began on-time. The crew even worked on some days during the winter that I quite frankly didn’t expect them to. The work was completed to my satisfaction quickly, without damage to the property, bushes or landscaping. Once started, the crew arrived promptly in the morning, worked all day, and returned every day until the work was completed. Dan came by to check on progress and Kim stayed in constant contact. The crew cleaned up thoroughly after themselves, and cleaned my gutters and re-installed the screens over them when the project was complete. The work was performed on budget and on time. I recommended On Top to a co-worker who plans on installing a new roof this spring the day that my roof was completed. I am very particular and not always the most easily impressed, but I must say, that I am impressed with On Top Home Improvement in Damascus Maryland, would not hesitate to use them again in the future, and highly recommend them.

Dan Cox is an excellent contractor! A tree fell into our house after a tornado hit our back yard, and Dan was at our house within 12 hours...getting the tree removed and walking on the roof with the insurance adjustor to make sure all of the damage was going to be covered. All of his sub-contractors were also excellent.They did great work, were very pleasant to deal with, and showed up everyday until the work was done. Dan made sure that we were satisfied every step of the way. He replaced our roof, our deck, and did a lot of interior work also. He was in contact with our insurance company also and knew how to deal with the adjustors, which saved me a lot of time and aggravation. He came highly recommended to me, and his work totally exceeded my expectations!!

Custormer service was outstanding! I was very leary of contracters, as we have had devistationg experiences form others. On Top Roofing is a trustwothy company that I would highly recommend freely to anyone. They work hard and well; and the price is very reasonable! They cleaned up so well! Its nice to know that there are solid, honest businesses still out there in today's society!
