James and his crew were awesome! Replaced roof and gutters from wind and hail storm. Our insurance was difficult to deal with but James and Cameron stayed on top of it and worked to get things done. We have a nice looking roof and six inch gutters which I highly recommend! Do not hesitate to use On the roof contracting as you will be glad you did!

I was very impressed with the whole team. They did a great job. I thought I was only going to get the roof approved but ended up getting siding and gutters too. I highly recommend them.

Love my new roof. Looks fantastic! This was an insurance job and I had no problems with them. James and his crew did an excellent job installing and clean-up. He's got some hard workers working for him. I plan on having him back later in the year to re-do a porch roof and install new gutters and downspouts, sans insurance.

I had a difficult time with my insurance company due to a wind event that damaged my roof and siding. I got in touch with James Taylor from On the Roof Contracting and gave him all of my insurance information and from there he took all the hassle out of my hands. He got my entire roof and siding approved for full replacement and made sure that I did not pay a dollar more than my deductible. Me and my wife I would highly reccomened them and already have to people that we know. You cant beat the transparency and communication with this company during the insurance process, the hard work during installation and clean up top it all off.

I can’t begin to tell you what a fantastic company this is. “On the roof” is truly the best out there. Once everything was approved, they my insurance company and it decided to stop snowing, they came out and did an excellent job took off the old shingles put on the new shingles all in one day and it looks really great. Whether it's an insurance job or a normal roof replacement, On The Roof Contracting will take good care of you. James had mentioned that I could get rid of my ugly box vents and replace them with ridge vents instead. I went with the ridge vents, and I'm very happy with the look. FYI, box vents can let snow into your attic, causing a leak when the snow melts. Don't ask how I know.

James is awesome! If we could give 10 stars we would. He went above and beyond from start to finish in getting our roof installed. We had a leak due to wind/storm damage. James contacted the insurance agency and met and spoke with the inspector on several occasions to ensure we received a full replacement. On installation day, he personally checked on the crew and sent us updates and pictures of the progress throughout the day.

James always answered all of our questions and was available when we reached out. He’s reliable and trustworthy. His dedication and knowledge/experience in his field is unmatched. We would definitely recommend him.

James and the whole team from On The Roof Contracting were absolutely amazing! Dealing with my insurance company was not easy took almost 3 months just to get a roof and gutters. They wanted to fight with me tooth and nail, but James was able to get the insurance company to cave in. now I have a brand new roof and brand new 6 inch gutters. I just recently got my roof replaced by On The Roof. This the 2nd time my roof has been replaced. This is also the best looking roof I have seen. I highly recommend On the Roof if you need your roof replaced. James took pictures of my so I could see what they did. The other company didn't do that, I had to take their word for what they did. This company is very polite, respectful and clean up everything before leaving.

We found them to be honest and willing to communicate which made the process so much easier. In addition to replacing our shingles James and his crew fixed a structural issue with our roof that required removing and replacing some trusses to make the roof level. He sent pictures during the day so we could see the progress they were making. The roof was re-shingled and everything cleaned up in one day. They also replaced our gutters which look great too!

James Taylor takes every opportunity very seriously and to the fullest extent. we had some extenuating circumstances with our Insurance and he worked through all possible solutions to get our results. Worked with James on an insurance claim and roof replacement. James was relentless in his efforts to get my roof replaced. In the end we were able to get it taken care of. When it comes to the actual work, On the Roof was top notch. Keeping up to date and even taking care of something I didn’t expect them to fix. Had a great experience working with James and On the Roof Contracting. I was in desperate need of a new roof and was denied last year by insurance. James stepped in, worked directly with the insurance company and the adjuster. I was able to get a full roof replacement! The roof is beautiful, and there was zero stress for me!

I am writing to express my dissatisfaction with the services provided by On The Roof Contracting, with regard to the replacement of my roof. I entered into a contract with the contractor, and made full payment upfront, prior to any materials being ordered. However, after receiving payment, the level of service drastically declined.

Several issues arose during the roof replacement process, including the absence of a site supervisor, poor workmanship, and failure to address various aspects of the project. Despite my attempts to communicate these concerns and request inspections and corrections, the contractor was unresponsive and refused to rectify any mistakes. Furthermore, he declined to furnish me with a copy of the Certificate of Completion for the roof replacement.

Unfortunately, I only possess the contractor's phone number, and have been unable to locate his or his company's address. Moreover, he has blocked my husband's calls, rendering it impossible to reach him. This lack of communication and accountability has left me feeling frustrated and unsupported.

Additionally, the contractor utilized deceptive tactics, involving his father, a neighbor, to facilitate the signing of the contract. Assurances were made by his father regarding addressing any issues that may arise, but these promises were not upheld. Furthermore, the contractor's subsequent disappearance from the neighborhood further exacerbated the situation.

Despite my efforts to enlist assistance from my insurance agent and other professionals, numerous problems with the roof persisted. It was only through the intervention of a supervisor from another company that some issues, such as the inadequate installation of ice and water shields, were addressed.

Moreover, discrepancies emerged regarding the replacement of chimney and step flashing, as well as the handling of pipe jack flashing. Despite being charged for these services, the contractor failed to execute them properly, and in some cases, without my consent, resulting in further damage and deterioration of the roof.

Furthermore, attempts to schedule appointments for inspections and repairs were met with unexplained cancellations and evasive behavior from the contractor. This lack of professionalism and accountability has left me with unresolved issues and a diminished level of trust in On The Roof Contracting.

In conclusion, I urge this contractor to investigate this matter thoroughly and take appropriate action to address the grievances outlined above. I seek a resolution that includes rectification of the substandard workmanship and reimbursement for the services not rendered as agreed upon.

I'd give 10 stars if I could! James Taylor is a God send in a world full of unreliable contractors! He stepped in after I went through 6 contractors who literally knew nothing about laws and regulations when it comes to insurance! James had more than half of my project approved before he stepped foot on my property! He's reliable, honest, hard working, trustworthy, and says what he means and means what he says! If he's on a project, he makes it a very big priority! He doesn't just collect the easy money and leave you half done! He knows his stuff when it comes to dealing with difficult insurance adjusters! He, his wife, and his workers are THE BEST! He'll be doing my siding and other stuff next, so I'll be back to do another review because I can't say enough about them!

I don't know how to do a separate 2nd review and can't find the option. If I do, I'll come back and redo this one. I'm adding to it because they have now done my garage roof and my metal roof on my carport! Absolutely the best I could ask for! My insurance has the motto of "You're in Good Hands" and believe me I was in good hands but it wasn't my insurance which is Allstate and I fought them for a year before I got any payout but James Taylor came along and had them paying before he stepped on my property! He's very knowledgeable and ready to fight for you! I'm truly amazed at how much they have done in such a short amount of time!

Great customer service! The best when it comes to negotiating insurance claims. I was impressed with his timeliness and communication during the project. Didn’t have to do a thing but pay the man. He took all of the stress out of working with insurance.

I spent 7 months trying to get a contractor to look at my roof, was given promise after promise and noone ever showed to even look
When I stumbled upon on this company James was out 2 days later, gave me an estimate, and worked with my insurance company to get somediscrepancies fixed. They delivered the new material on thursday, tore off and installed the new roof friday.

This review has to be in two parts. We contacted On The Roof Contracting when our first contractor after three months said they could not get the insurance company to settle. We mainly worked with James. His efforts to work for us with the insurance company was beyond any reasonable expectation. I'm certain if we had not chosen On The Roof, the insurance company never would had settled.
His workers showed up when they were scheduled and completed the work in a timely fashion. The quality is outstanding. I particularly appreciate how they left the job site clean afterwards.

This company did a wonderful job replacing our roof! More so, James Taylor completely took care of all our needs. Handle all the undesirable parts with class and professionalism. James was very quick to respond to our call. He was upfront about the whole process. He worked with the insurance company to get the funds needed to make proper repair work. He kept me updated on timelines. He said once the supplies came the crew would be here the next day and they were here. Overall very professional and personal experience. I would highly recommend them. He took what I was worried to be a painful process and simplified it.
