Donnie and his team did an amazing job with our fixer upper house and several major renovation projects within, from a total kitchen and master bath reno to some surprises we did not anticipate, such as repairing an external wall that had rotted through, and even addressed some major plumbing issues and redid part of our roof. I don't think there was an area of renovation they didn't cover and everything came out beautifully. They juggled all the various parties involved and kept us in the loop with everything. Most importantly to us, with three small kids and pets underfoot throughout the whole project, they were all extremely kind and mindful to keep everyone safe. We're so happy with our beautiful home and would highly recommend them!

Donnie and Shaun were absolutely great and easy to work with. We had a new roof put on our house and the process from start to finish was smooth and seamless. All my questions were answered (and I had lots of them!) The roofing crew was exceptional. I had requested new gutters to be put on our home and they went out of their way to help with that as well. I would highly recommend On The Mend Home renovations to all friends and family, and will definitely be using them again for future projects.

We hired On the Mend Renovations (OTMR) for a major project—building a two-car garage with a primary bedroom above, replacing our deck, and fixing up our guest bathroom. We’re currently about 85% through, and I can already say this has been a wonderful experience from start to (almost) finish.

Every member of the OTMR team, including their subcontractors, has been fantastic. They’ve been reliable, respectful, and genuinely great to work with. Throughout the project, any unexpected issues were handled with professionalism and care. I always felt confident that they’d find a smart solution—and they often exceeded my expectations.

The quality of the work has been exceptional. Each part of the project has turned out better than I had imagined, and I’m so excited to see the final result. Honestly, the only downside is that once everything is done, I’ll miss seeing Phil every day!

They first transformed our unfinished basement into a beautiful, handicap-accessible space for my mother, complete with a bedroom, living area, and bathroom that exceeded our expectations. Their attention to detail and commitment to accessibility made all the difference.

On the Mend was SO responsive and professional. We were thinking of adding a three season porch to the back of our home; we needed to have the roof reshingled as well.

Donnie came to the house, reviewed our design, made some suggestions, and submitted an estimate.

We decided to not have the work done at that time - and it had nothing to do with On the Mend. We will, eventually, have the porch built - and On the Mend will be our choice.

We had Donnie, Aaron, and the rest of their team here in the Spring for a kitchen renovation. **Be patient with the quote process. This industry is strained and many times the quote process is delayed because the people who are doing the work are focused on the clients who are in the middle of a project. In the end, that focus is what you’ll appreciate the most.

In August, 2021, we hired Donnie to re-do our 47 year old kitchen. It was a large and involved project, and to put it mildly, I'm on the fussy side. Donnie was always attentive to my concerns without making me feel like I was asking too much. He gently offered suggestions when I asked for things that wouldn't work. It would be unrealistic to expect a large project to go without a hitch, but when "hitches" arose, he handled them quickly and with a sense of balance.

I like Donnie's personality, and both his sense of humor and sense of balance are reflected in the folks he hires. I've had people do work here in the past whose personalities made me long for them to be gone. This crew was skilled, respectful, and congenial. I enjoyed them being here, even when I was ready for the whole blasted thing to be done.

Donnie knows his business and does a fine job - definitely a keeper!

They spent many weeks working at our home over the summer, replacing the very old siding on our large house and separate garage, replacing some windows, reconfiguring or removing others, and installing a beautiful triple-wide window in the living room. Donnie was very quick to come out and do an inspection of my place and discuss a bathroom renovation project. Very nice guy. He was a tad slow to get me an estimate, but no worries. His estimate was over the budget we originally discussed.....so we didn't move forward. But seemed like a very capable guy.
