Ohio Exteriors recently finished an addition on our house along with a roof replacement and siding for the existing home. They were incredibly easy to work with every step of the way. They were patient with our questions throughout our project, from estimate/proposal adjustments to finishing touches on the final product. The whole planning and construction process was transparent, and they kept us informed at every step. They get top marks for communication. We never felt like our project was just another project to them, and everyone was professional and kind. We would absolutely recommend them to anyone!

We hired ohio exteriors after reading their amazing Angies list reviews and a representative came out and assessed what our best options for siding was going to be after some wind damage had pulled off some siding. Bruce had come out and gave me a thorough breakdown of what was needed. he was super knowledgeable and put us at ease. insurance took about a year to process the claim and Bruce was there with us every step getting everything answered and done. i couldnt have done it without him! when they came out to the job site, the crew was awesome. they worked fast installed the siding and were very respectful. absolutely amazing crew. they finished in about 3 days and James, the owner came out for the final inspection and even added in a few final touches. i cannot stress to how awesome this crew was. they were attentive to every single tiny detail. From covering every nail hole with paint and picking up every scrap piece of material. we definitely plan on having them do more work for us in the future. 10/10!!!

Eric and I weren't sure what to do with our old sunporch. It was in poor shape and we were thinking of tearing it down and do decking. We had Ohio Exteriors come out and talk us through our options to have it torn down and rebuilt. We are so happy that we picked that option! Ohio Exteriors performed an excellent job of replacing an aged roof, new siding to fix rotting wood, and new gutters.

We are very happy with how our porch turned out. Todd and his team were very responsive and we could tell that they wanted us to be happy with the finished product. The only reason I didn't get five stars is because there were issues that arose during construction that could have been avoided with a little more attention to detail. For example, one of the posts was installed incorrectly resulting in the roof frame being off center. However, once we pointed this out to Todd, he augmented the roof to make the issue all but unnoticeable.

We selected Ohio Exteriors to put in a new sunroom, replace our soffits, and put on a new roof. For all three jobs they did a great job and were fantastic about answering our questions and concerns as they occurred during the jobs. Would definitely hire them again if we needed something else done.

We used Ohio Exteriors for our Screened In Porch addition. They were very professional and did quality work! They always left the worksite very clean every night. Would use them again in the future. Highly recommend.

After receiving a few quotes we ultimately decided to use Ohio Exteriors. They weren't the lowest price but they weren't the highest. The quality from start to finish was evident. They were quick to respond in whichever method you preferred (email, text, or through an app).

We first used them to get our roof done through an insurance claim. We got to see what the roof would like via a 3D model on our current home and the project manager (Bruce) went through a design phase with us if we decided to do our siding and replace our dry rotting trim. Bruce was very knowledgeable, professional, friendly, and quick to address any issue on the project. He even had good ideas and a vision for designs if you are not quite sure how you want something to look.

We ultimately decided we would get the exterior of our home done since they did a quick and great job on our roof. The siding came out great and how we expected it to look via the app. The dry rotted wood trim is gone.

The exterior project as expected took a few more days and poor weather during the project didn't help, but the working crew were fast and friendly. There was a mess left around the home after day 1 but i still believe a 5 star review is needed because Bruce or any other project manager would come out each day to check the progress. He acknowledged with us the mess was unacceptable and would be resolved. I noted to him that a thunderstorm rolled through right in the middle of their work so i understand the need for safety and would rather than be safe, but he explained that even with incoming weather it should be resolved. I think it's great that a company has a check and balance system like this and that's why I keep the five stars with no hesitation. Sure enough the next days it was MUCH cleaner.

I love how the house turned out and it's much more maintenance free with the materials they used. The staff from start to end have been amazing.

Nobody ever *wants* to spend money on a project like this, but working with Ohio Exteriors made me feel like I got my money's worth. I would highly recommend.

James and his team at Ohio Exteriors essentially gave us a new house. When we moved in 10 years ago the house had wood siding and over the time we lived in the house it hit end of life -- nails popping out, boards warping and generally just looking terrible.

Now with new Hardi siding and it looks like a brand new home. They stripped off the old boards, rewrapped and sealed the walls, cleaned up all the nails and then put on the new siding. Even our chimney had a old "rock" look to it, but the rocks were crumbling and falling onto the roof. Everything has been resealed, refinished and looks fantastic.

The design process was a breeze, James came out took a couple pictures and then was able to provide us with a 3D model on the computer to play around with until we found just the combination we wanted. And when we weren't sure about the colors on the computer screen he had samples that we could see and put against our walls.

The entire process from planning through execution went well and well and when we had concerns, wanted things addressed or wanted small changes along the way I feel like James and the team were very receptive and easy to work with always making sure we got exactly what we wanted.

I absolutely plan on working with Ohio Exteriors in the future when we have other outdoor projects to tackle!

I recently moved into my home and hired Ohio Exteriors to tear down and replace old and damaged wood siding. Bruce knocked it out of the park with his design! I was worried about my house losing its mid-century character or looking too cookie cutter and he provided me with five 3D renderings to choose from. The crew that worked my job were friendly and efficient and did a great job cleaning up after the end of each day. When I noted some minor issues, they were quick to get them fixed and addressed. I would be happy to work with Ohio Exteriors again on another project and highly recommend them to anyone considering a project at their home!

We hired Ohio Exteriors to add a gabled roof over our front porch. The work turned out perfectly, the crew was always on the job regardless of weather conditions, and they got the whole job done very quickly and efficiently.

Sided entire house, wrapped fascia and garage door trim, new gutters and downspouts. Crews very conscientious and hard working even though even through very cold and poor weather conditions. Pricing was very competitive.

I had to spend quite a while negotiating with my insurance company about replacing my siding, but Bruce was so helpful throughout the process. I absolutely love this company. They did amazing work from start to finish. When they came out to work with me on a plan we sat down and talked it over. They answered all my questions and I was able to see the design on our house on the app which was so helpful. Any questions I had through this entire process they quickly answered. They took the old siding off, sheeted it in OSB, wrapped it, and sided it. They installed the mounting blocks for the lights I will add when I find the right ones I still need to do some painting when it warms up, but already have had compliments on how nice it looks!

We recently had Ohio Exteriors put up James Hardie siding on our house and replace our patio door. Since we did siding on the entire house, they gave us gutters for free. James, our project manager, was very responsive to us, gave us good advice and was patient with us while we worked through the process of selecting colors. The team assisted us with financing even though we ultimately went through our bank.

The workers were so diligent with the installation. They worked so hard and we were impressed with the amount of cooperation and detail oriented focus they all had. We are really pleased with the final results and while we probably won't have a project like this ever again, we would use Ohio Exteriors if we did!

We did two room additions ( rear room addition and bonus room over the garage ) to our home. Initially Bill helped with the project design and explained to us every step of the project and provided us best design ideas to keep the build costs under control and yet give us what we were expecting for rooms.

I'm writing this review before our final walkthrough, but as of now, we are very pleased with the experience. For this job, we had our roof replaced. They handled as much of the insurance portion as they could, got the job scheduled and completed on time. The crew was excellent. Very professional. And they did a great job of cleaning up after they finished.

The job was performed in a timely manner. To have the whole home (One story ranch) have it’s siding and gutters replaced took about three and a half days. Everyone we dealt with was very professional and knowledgeable. The new siding looks amazing and is what was expected based off of the initial model rendering.

We used Ohio Exteriors to reside our house and replace our gutters. From the moment they came out for an estimate I could tell they were personable and knowledgeable. They brought up details that other companies we got estimates with did not which really helped us understand realistycally what needed to be done. What sealed the deal was the digital mock up they were able to do in home with me so I could see what the house would look like.

Unfortunately it did take quite some time for the project to start but this was through no fault of thier own. The siding supplier was having a delay in production. The Ohio Exteriors team was great at keeping me up to date. When the siding finally became available I was scheduled for them to come in about a week and they finished quickly.

They did a wonderful job with installation. There were a few unexpected issues but they handled it quickly and professionally. I am very satisfied with the whole experience.

Over the next few years we have some other projects coming up and I will 100% be using Ohio Exteriors again.

This is probably the best construction company we have used. We had 2 other companies bid on our job and felt best with meeting and plans we had from the start with Ohio Exteriors. They followed through on all aspects of our job from start to finish. The communication from the team was excellent and always prompt to any inquiry we had. The full job, including finish work, was beyond expectation. Would definitely use them again and refer others to use them.

Ohio Exteriors replaced our siding to new Ascend siding. The product is beautiful - it's hard to tell it is vinyl because of the plank style with woodgrain. The color options are beautiful, too, and they have a 3D design tool that helped us visualize colors and make the right selection for our home. The installation was done very well and completed quickly. It really does look like a whole new house!
I won't lie - it was a long wait due to the supply chain issue at Ascend, but Ohio Exteriors did their best to communicate timelines to us as they received new information. It was worth the wait!

Ohio Exteriors put our siding on our house. From the sales rep to the office staff and the field tech, everybody was professional and courteous. Loved the iPad model of what the house would look like with the new siding! The field tech was very nice and went out of his way to help make the house what we wanted. He answered questions, and even took the awning down early so we could paint it and it could dry before they put it back up. You got the feeling they really cared about how it turned out. Would definitely recommend them. The price wasn't a bargain, but it was fair and worth it for a quality job done.

From beginning to end it was a very good experience and result. They did not try to sell me on extra cost items that really were not necessary to make a great looking porch (which it is). The whole team involved were very friendly and good to work with.

I had new siding put on the house. It was a complicated design with two colors and combinations of shake siding and board and batten with multiple steep roof peaks. The sales rep (Bruce) used a computer to help me see my ideas and change the design as needed. He returned several times, very patient, as I changed my mind several times before I was sure. The workers were kind and respectful, and really worked hard!

This project a screened deck is beautiful, just what we wanted. The crew that did the work was very talented and knowledgable about how to do this work. We had a very complicated roof line and the completed project looks like it was original to the house. A great experience.

Ohio exteriors added on a 3 seasons room to our existing home. It is exactly what we envisioned, and looks like it was always part of the house. They did a great job extending our siding and roofing to the addition.

Our 14'x14' room was completed in about 3 weeks with the weather on our side, including demo of an existing deck. The crew hit the timeline as expected. The project start was delayed a few weeks due to supply issues, though that is to be expected right now. The foreman, Derek, was phenomenal -- professional, respectful, trustworthy, and committed to the project's success.

If we had it do over again, we wouldn't change a thing.

The addition turned out nice and once the project finally got underway (later than expected), it went smoothly and they communicated well. The contractors and carpenters that they employed all were very good.

Overall the entire team was top notch. Their communications were incredible: they took whatever time required to explain the process, to address issues that came up, and bent over backward to stay in touch with us once the project began. They set us up on a website that centralized all communications, they called whenever they needed to to discuss a change in the plan, and they followed up any calls promptly.
We are very pleased with how the final product turned out as well. Looks so sharp & professionally done.
Our only complaint, which could have been due to supply chain shortage, was that we committed in May and they didn't get to the job till later than they originally committed. (Mid August and that was after I called and complained). But to their credit, they made it happen.

What an amazing experience working with Ohio Exteriors. We had Hardie board sidings installed on the house. The project manager is very knowledgeable about the product and extremely professional in describing the product and the installation process. On the day of the installation, the owner came on the job site and made sure every details are completed to perfection. The crew was very detailed and skillful. the entire job was completed in 1 day which impressed us and the neighbors. We will definitely use Ohio Exterior in the future and we have recommended them to friends and family already.

We had siding replaced. Installation crew did great job with lots of attention to detail. The owner of business came several times to check quality of work: detail oriented company and owner, made certain everything was correct. Owner and employees were very pleasant and responsive.

I wanted to have a covered porch added to my home but was concerned the roof would block out a lot of the natural light that came in my 3 sets of double windows. Ohio Exteriors came up with the perfect solution: they put 3 large skylights in the porch roof and lined them up with my 3 sets of double windows. they also helped me design a grilling area that would extend out on one side so I wouldn't be grilling with a roof overhead. Ohio Exteriors actually finished the project ahead of the scheduled date. The porch ran along the great room and the dining room and a bedroom sheltered it on each side. Instead of just putting in the gutter along the porch roof and connecting it to the gutters on the rooms on each side, Ohio Exteriors took the 2 existing gutters down and ran a new gutter the entire length of the back of my home - needless to say, I was very impressed. They also made the shingles on the porch roof blend in perfectly with the existing roof shingles. Finally, as they were starting the project I asked how difficult it would be to screen in the porch in the future, and the person in charge said they would make sure the design of the porch would allow for minimum modifications if I chose to screen in the porch at a later date. All in all, I would definitely recommend Ohio Exteriors. I actually got their name because of the work they were doing to a house about a block away from me.

Our siding replacement looks great and we’ve received sincere compliments from neighbors on every side. Owner James was very friendly, with excellent communication. The crew, also amiable, was top notch, working very hard to get the job finished in impressive time and with attention to detail. There were a couple unforeseen obstacles due to the pandemic and the stretch of heavy snowfall we experienced this winter, but that is to be expected. James and crew saw the job through and tied up loose ends. I recommend Ohio Exteriors with confidence.

I think the best way to review Ohio Exteriors on this project (a complete house re-siding) is to say this: it was one of the few things about 2020 I enjoy thinking about.

The crew was hard working, as considerate as possible (since we were working from home), and clearly paid attention to small details. Follow-up to any concerns or questions we had was also dealt with well. I would not hesitate to hire Ohio Exteriors again based on our initial experience with them.

We added on a 19x16 screened in porch to our existing house. In addition, they worked with us on taking out a window and converting it into a door. The team we worked with was professional, responsive, neat and did a great job. From the initial meeting with Bill to the project meetings with Steve, the communication was clear and prompt. We love our screened in porch and they did an overall fantastic job! We would highly recommend Ohio Exteriors for the job!

Had my screen porch converted to a sunroom. Project was completed in 2 days. There were some nuances that needed corrected but now it's complete and a wonderful addition of living space to our home. Wife is happy - enough said.

We own a mid-1990s Hilliard area house and wanted to replace our wood trim and fascia with durable materials, while also replacing the gutters. James Green from Ohio Exteriors came over to develop an estimate and was easy to work with. The estimate from Ohio Exteriors was very reasonable and given their track record of satisfied customers we decided that they were the best choice. Ohio Exteriors stayed in touch with us while we waited for the materials and for an opening in their schedule. When the work started, the crew were professional and courteous, answering any questions we had. Some additional necessary work was discovered, and the process of adding that to the contract was smooth and reasonable. There was also a minor misunderstanding about the scope of the work, and this was resolved to our complete satisfaction. The finished work looks great, and we are so glad we went with Ohio Exteriors. They are determined to make sure you are a satisfied customer. We will hire them again for any future work our house needs.

I signed the contract in March 2020 for the renovation of my screened porch to a sunroom and paid the fist deposit. I was told it will take about 4 or 5 days to complete the remolding once started. I was on their schedule for about two month to get my renovation started. I also just had them put a new roof on my house. It was mostly good, except they left one loose shingle that still up on my roof now very obviously, which I call them several times to get it removed

Here is what happened in time. The installer came in first time that was about two weeks late before the original scheduled time. Not very friendly or easy to communicate. what they found out four triangle shaped window can not fit into the frame and the door size was not right either. They were only be able to put in all the other windows.

Two month later, two different guy came in to put the door and two windows in. They were fairly friendly and easy to talk to. But only do what they had been told to to do, not the interior window seal and trim.

My sunroom is finally completed today after about 8 month. It was a mixed experience with them. But the owner reached out to me and stopped by the last day, explained to me what had happened exactly that took this long to finish my project.

The project was finished properly and I do not have much to complain about their work. If they can actually finish my project on time. I would give them a better rating. But it was also mostly their supplier's cause beside the wrong window size issue.

They showed up even when the weather was not ideal and continued to work. Very satisfied with the product and the installation. I would definitely recommend them to anyone wanting to replace their siding and gutters.

I had a couple of shingles blow off my roof, and when I contacted James green, he was out the very next morning to put a temporary patch on it for me. After settling everything with insurance, he had a team out to replace the roof in no time at all. They took 1 day to replace it, and were all very nice. My biggest concern was nails being in my backyard for my dog to get. To this day, I have never found a single nail. Will definitely be referring Ohio exteriors to everyone.

I had a great experience with Ohio Exteriors! The work crew, led by Daniel, was professional, responsible, and highly skilled. The office staff was responsive and friendly. I made a good choice when I picked Ohio Exteriors to replace the wood on my two story addition!

0 Stars. Horrible experience. Called with a repair request on some wood siding, but the salesman was only after a big bucks commission. He gave me an estimate of $3600 for the repairs – I agreed to the estimate. Then he called back and said they wouldn't do the work because it wasn't worth their time. Ohio Exteriors puts greed before the customer. Don't support them with your business.

The crew was really great, however they changed some measurements on the plans and didn't tell us. Every time we got floor plans something was wrong about then and on the plans we signed, we missed the change they made. Now we have the room that is different from the one we wanted...
Overall, it's very disappointing to pay so much and not get what you wanted

This company is everything you're looking for and SO much more. Every communication I had (and it was a lot!!!) was professional, friendly, timely and made me feel like my concerns/questions were addressed and important. I honestly wish I had more projects that could be done by James and his staff because I wouldn't hesitate to hire them again. In all I've spoken with MANY companies and contractors about things that need done and this place was by far the best in regards to customer service and price. Due to Ohio and spring weather we rescheduled my project a few times but I was kept up to date every step of the way and I never wondered what was going on. James is one of the good guys and you won't be disappointed!!!
