During a long RV road trip in my Ram 2500 got a DPF code and was in a terrible pinch. These folks got me in next day and cleared my problem. Nohemy was particularly helpful and understanding. They are not in my local area but I would recommend these folks to anyone in their local area. Top notch service! Thanks!

I had to go in to get warranty work done on my truck and they went above and beyond with service and compression to make sure my vehicle was safe for me and my family. I truly believe they actually care about there customers.

I am a 3rd generation local to the island, and there are a few businesses have stood the test of time... This is one of them. Your business won't last here if you don't run it with integrity. The owners go beyond that, by nurturing their business and the community with giving hearts and compassion - taking care of their employees, their clients and community members. I have been continually impressed by them in varying aspects, over the years, and cannot speak highly enough about them. Sales, service, support... Anything you need, go on in and they will help! If you want an enjoyable, honest, no pressure and thorough experience, look no further! Support local and get the local treatment in return. Thank you, Oak Harbor Motors, Horrobin Family, Jeff (GM) and Ray (Service Manager)!

If I could give negative stars, I would. Customer service is absolutely dead in this place. Contacted them to order a vehicle multiple times, first two times never even got a response, no call, no email, nothing back. Other times was told a lie on what they are able to order. More specifically, Margie has absolutely zero customer service- rude on the phone each time I had a chance to speak to her. Jeff, the manager simply doesn't respond no matter what you do. Considering we are trying to order the most expensive vehicle they have, I was hopeful that customer service would be decent, nope, not even close. It is worth driving somewhere out of town to get decent service, save your patience and go somewhere else.

So far I’ve worked with Nohemy, she’s been extremely knowledgeable and outstanding in all regards! She was able to get my Jeep in for diagnostics the next day, and was exceedingly professional.

I live on Whidbey and would not think of going anywhere else for my vehicle or service needs. I recently purchased a used RAM 1500 and could not be happier with the entire process. I brought the truck in for maintenance and found the professional technicians were the best! The entire dealership insures that you are a satisfied happy customer and one who will continue to visit them for your future car/truck/Jeep purchasing and service needs. They have proved themselves to be the best in the business. Buy Whidbey. Buy Local.

I had my key FOB burn up in a bonfire a few weeks back. I had OH Motors rekey me a new FOB. The service was stellar. They got me in and out in about an hour and fifteen minutes. The FOB was a bit expensive but after doing some research that is just the cost of these things. Thanks guys keep up the good work!

I am super impressed with the professionalism and expertise with which Oak Harbor motors repaired my car. Not only was it done right ,but it was done right the first time with no follow problems, at an affordable price and in one day! I highly recommend them.

Work done: New catalytic converter, new thermostat, and new battery.

Without question, the only used car dealership I will ever go back too.

During the purchase process Margie Schrum was courtius, kind and up front. She did not upsell me on another vehicle, and was honest about everything. There were agreed repairs at the time of purchase which were all complete within 24 hours.

After purchasing a used car, on an "as is" contract, I found a bad sensor that was causing codes and my ABS light was on. Not only did they help diagnose the problem, but the sales manager worked with me and covered the repair. I went in expecting a little help, but not this level of integrity and compassion.

Unheard of customer service, unrivaled professionalism, unbelievable human beings.

If your looking for a new or used car, I recommend checking them out, they treated me amazing.

In shopping for a Jeep Gladiator to order to my specifications I contacted Oak Harbor Motors. The only dealership left in Oak Harbor, WA.; and my local dealer I thought to give them a shot at handling my business. I also had gone to a larger dealership to test drive the stick shift Gladiator-which was hard to find. That dealership was pushy, wanted to sell me a vehicle on the lot that was not to my specs, and began the routine of sit down here and "let me ask my manager". I don't take well to that and will shop dealers just to get nice people that don't want to put me through the "routine". Right after a short test drive I am not ready to order, I have to think about what I have just tested. OH Motors did not do the "routine" and I had a very pleasant experience talking with real car people in a relaxed environment. I came out smiling, not stressed. Even if this is not your local dealership I would travel to make my purchase here...and they do not add extra $ to the price just because your vehicle is popular!

After 3 different trips to my old parts store (given the wrong part) I tried oak harbor motors. The guys there make me feel like I'm at my neighbor hood and the guys are shooting the breeze about anything cars. Great change for me.

These folks are an awesome example of why we shop local whenever possible. This is our third vehicle purchase from OH Motors. They are true professionals. Jeff & Margie know their stuff. The dealership is family owned. The best experience around!

These people lie and cheat and steal. They sold me a car that broke down before I even got my plates for my car. They accepted responsibility several times even paying a 250 tow tab. They finally offered to swap out with another car on the lot and swindled me out of $3000. They then put the broke down car back on their car lot without fixing it for the same amount of money. Do not trust these people. Jeff is rude and literally tried to talk my boyfriend into leaving me because I used a single curse word in frustration. Don't shop here. And don't buy the 2011 Hyundai sonata on their lot as of 6-1-22. If I could give negative stars I'd give 3k of them

One star review, however my one star review keeps getting flagged and removed.
Ordered a new gladiator diesel from here. After the Jeep was train shipped to Kent Washington, things were delayed due to priority. I was told that all ordered sales were top priority. However, this turned out to not be true as two other shipments of lot inventory made it by truck from Kent to here before my Jeep did.
Next issue, delay after arrival, bogus claims. Jeep battery had to be charged for 24 hours prior to pickup. (Why is a brand new battery having to be charged?- also call any other Jeep dealer, this isn’t standard practice.)
During the “detail” phase before pickup, the hood was scratched and a candy wrapper shoved in the vent. Sweet thanks for the “detail”.
Next, trying to get a feel for how service and warranty claims would go if I lifted the jeep- general consensus is that the service manager definitely works for Jeep and is not going to do you any favors if anything on your Jeep goes wrong.

Great Place to get your Car worked on..Might take them little more time but atleast they do A Great Job get it done properly.. May Cost little more but Hey!! you want your car fixed the right way or do you want it running screwy. I suggest pay little more so you don't have keep getting your car fixed every Month.

1 star is being generous. Buying experience 3 years ago was pleasant. No issues there. Service department is horrible. Eric was about as useless as eating spaghetti with a spoon. No communication from him at all. Picked my car up today after dropping it off 6 months ago. It was diagnosed incorrectly after it was there 3 weeks. Eric never called me, I had to call everytime to get an update. Once diagnosed correctly I had to wait for parts on back order. The General Manager Jeff wasn't much better than Eric. He turned me over to Chrysler Care after a couple conversations and it seemed I was forgotten about. Finally after getting the part in stock, another 3 weeks were needed cuz apparently there were cars at there shop that were there before mine. Dealing with Steve was a bit better but too little too late. Needless to say, my advice, have you car serviced some place else.

Had to break down and buy a car during the middle of the inventory shortage. I have never purchased a new vehicle, but used cars are so expensive now it just makes more sense right now to buy new. We searched for a long time and came finally went in to OHmotors just to see what they could do. This is an excellent business. They weren’t pushy at all. Provided us with top notch service and were able to spend a lot of time going over the purchase agreement. We drove an hour to get there and a few days after coming back home we realized a part was missing on the interior. After texting them, they overnighted the part. We were very pleased with the entire car buying experience at OHMotors and would recommend them to anyone looking to purchase a vehicle.

Ask for Jeff! I left Oak Harbor Motors a happy man when I bought my awesome ‘21 Rubicon. Not only did Jeff make the entire buying process seamless, but his customer care and service was superb. He was very informative, accommodating, and thoughtful throughout the entire process. In addition, the entire team at Oak Harbor Motors is very welcoming and friendly. They have all worked together to answer my questions, even after the buy, and I ask a lot of questions. I would definitely recommend buying your next car from them. Thank you Jeff, Emma, Andy, and the entire team at Oak Harbor Motors for all of your help! I trust you’ll continue to serve our community as well as anyone who crosses your path.

I brought my Jeep in because it was consuming oil. I am ASE certified but my Cherokee is under warranty, so I took it in. I was told that I was driving too aggressively. This is a nine-speed automatic that wants to shift way before 3,000 RPMs. It consumed 2-3 quarts of oil in between every oil change and that is not acceptable for a 2019 vehicle. I was hoping this dealership could at least understand this. Instead, they told me that it is normal. I can't in good faith support this dealership.

Our buying experience could not have been better. Small town dealership feel where everyone helped to set the tone for a relaxing buy. We feel great about the price that we paid for our 2019 Ram 1500. Robert and Kevin went the extra mile with the no pressure buy. Make this one of those times where you shop local.

Always service with a smile and a pleasant greeting. Clean comfortable waiting room. Wifi, television and lots of reading material.

I purchased my truck (Big Red) in 2013, a new 2012 Dodge RAM Hemi. Never had an issue with the truck or Oak Harbor Motors, Oak Harbor, Whidbey Island, WA.

The Best Ram Dealer I could have hoped for. My New truck stopped working while on Vacation and Eric and Ryan were eager to help. They kept truck, did a few things, told us the code problem but did not have the part. They knew we were leaving soon and gave us the names of dealers who on our trip home had the part in case it started acting up again so we could stop and get repaired. We drove all day with no problems. The next morning, it didn't start. We towed back to dealer. We were offered a loaner @ no charge which was amazing so we could still enjoy what was left of our vacation. They over knighted the part we needed and had fixed by Friday morning. They were courteous, understanding, attentive, everything we did not expect to get outside of a Porsche dealer. If their was a choice of 6 stars I would give it.

Great experience. Wasn’t pushy, no hassles, and I trust I was getting a good car that was sold at a fair market price. I’ve bought 3 cars in a year for myself and family and this was the easiest experiences I’ve had getting what I wanted. I had to literally argue with other dealers about fees and prices. Not here.

Nothing but good things to say about Oak Harbor Motors. I bought a used truck from Kevin. After one day of having the truck the transmission started acting up, called Kevin and he said to have it towed to dealership and they will take care of it. Well they went above and beyond and got the issue taken care. Highly recommend them!

Walked in and couldn't find anyone. Walked around and found a guy by the window at his desk playing on phone. I said hi, he looked at me and went back to being on his phone. I walked around some more to find another person and no one. Terrible customer service. Went to Bellingham instead where customer services exist.

Look if you want to go here then go here, but let me tell you a little story before you make this decision:
My husband's car needs a part (they tell us that the part is gonna take a couple months to get here) nope....IT TOOK 8 MONTHS.

About a week ago, they "fix" his car, but oops they didn't

Prior to my husband finding out that his car had NOT been fixed, they charge him and tell us that they're goanna call our insurance company to see if they will cover the part, the insurance company says they won't which sucks but that isn't the dealerships fault.

HOWEVER what is their fault is that when my husband and myself asked for a refund, they said they WILL NOT provide us with one because they "technically did their job" and did what they said they were gonna do, this is a lie they charged us for nothing and did nothing to fix the problem, and are not refunding us a simple 90 dollars when the actual part is gonna cost us about $400.00.

I don't recommend this place, especially if your car is broken or needs a simple part, go somewhere else and save yourself the headache of having to deal with these greedy people.

WARNING -DO NOT GO HERE!!! Unless you like highly overpriced vehicles and rude, pushy sales staff AND a terrible finance department. If that sounds like fun to you, go get em tiger. Oh, you'll love this one salesman and his strong arm techniques. Can't remember his name, he's about a 50 year old white dude that can't shut up about how awesome he is. Don't buy a car here, they'll take advantage of you. DO NOT BUY FROM HERE!!!
Told ya I'd get ya back.

DO NOT SHOP HERE!!! This was the most unprofessional, uneducated Dodge dealership I've ever been to. I brought my 2016 van in for what I thought was fuel problems. They had it for two full days and said they couldn't find anything wrong and they test drove my vehicle, ran diagnostics, etc...They didn't drive my vehicle to notice the problem. I have trackers on my van and it showed that it never left the lot. Based out of Spokane, I drove to Oak Harbor, towed my van back home to my local Lithia Dodge of Spokane and they had it diagnosed, fixed and ready within 2 hours of having it. Dodge of Oak harbor cost me nearly $1,000 in time and labor. Not to mention my van was out for nearly two weeks. Which could have added up to thousands of dollars lost. I have letters written to the BBB, Dodge, and the Chamber of Commerce of Oak Harbor ready to send out if I'm not contacted by day end tomorrow. What a terrible representation of a highly recommended dealership. Go figure there's a pile of 1 star reviews.

Brought my Jeep in for a problem with the Bluetooth suddenly not recognizing my phone as a media device. I was told that all the software was current and I need a new radio. Of course that costs $500. I was also told that I was lucky because most cost $1200.
I took the Jeep home and googled my problem. Turns out my software was not current. I updated it myself with a USB drive and now everything is fine.
These are trained service professionals?

I shopped all over the country for a great deal on my Challenger Hellcat and settled on Oak Harbor Motors. I worked mostly with Rob Srdar over email and he was able to give me the best deal in the entire country. I contacted over 50 dealerships and spent over 2 months searching before working with Rob. I couldn't be happier with the honest and transparency he showed and would definitely come back to purchase a future vehicle. Highly recommend!

We Answer Frequently Asked Questions
Pricing questions
1. What is the average roof replacement cost for a residential home?
+-

The average roof replacement cost for a residential home typically ranges from $7,000 to $15,000, depending on factors such as roof size, chosen materials, roof pitch, and labor rates in your area. Premium materials or complex designs may increase the price.

2. How much does it usually cost to replace the roof of a commercial building?
+-

The cost to replace the roof of a commercial building typically ranges from $5 to $12 per square foot, depending on several factors such as roof size, material, labor rates, building type, and local code requirements.

3. What factors affect the overall roof repair cost?
+-

Several factors influence roof repair cost, including the extent of the damage, roof accessibility, material type, labor costs, and whether it’s a general repair or an emergency fix. Minor repairs can start around $150–$400, while major repairs may exceed $1,500.

4. What is the typical roof leak repair cost, and how is it calculated?
+-

Roof leak repair cost generally ranges from $300 to $800, depending on the size and location of the leak, the materials required, and labor intensity. Complex leaks involving structural repairs or interior damage will cost more.

5. What is the average flat roof repair cost for commercial buildings?

Service questions
1. Should I stay home during roof replacement?
+-

It's not necessary to stay home during roof replacement. Roofing work is noisy and can cause vibrations inside the house, which might be uncomfortable. Most homeowners choose to leave during major parts of the project, but our team ensures safety and keeps you updated, whether you're home or not.

2. How long does roof replacement take?
+-

The timeline for a roof replacement typically ranges from one to three days, depending on the size and complexity of the roof, weather conditions, and material type. Larger or more intricate roofs may take a bit longer, but we always aim for efficient, timely completion.

3. How to hire a roofing contractor?
+-

To hire a roofing contractor, start by researching local companies with good reviews and proper licensing. Request quotes from multiple contractors, verify their insurance and certifications, and ask for references. Always ensure you get a written contract that outlines the scope of work, timeline, and payment terms.

4. How to check if a roofing company is legit?
+-

Check if a roofing company is legit by verifying their business license, insurance, and local certifications. Look for memberships in professional associations, read customer reviews, and ask for recent project references. A legitimate company will be transparent and provide all documentation upon request.

5. How to choose a roofing company?
+-

When choosing a roofing company, consider their experience, customer reviews, warranty offerings, and quality of materials. Make sure they provide clear communication, detailed estimates, and a solid portfolio of completed projects. Local expertise is also a major advantage for understanding regional roofing needs.

6. How do you know if your roofing contractor is ripping you off?
+-

Warning signs that your roofing contractor might be ripping you off include vague contracts, pressure to pay large upfront deposits, lack of proper documentation, and unexplained price increases. Always ask for itemized estimates and written guarantees, and avoid contractors who avoid answering your questions directly.
