Ugh. What a terrible customer service experience. Googled "window replacement woodbridge" , as I need a full window replaced in front of my new home . Got back a rude response stating to find another contractor. Then received another one within minutes saying the same - here it is cut and pasted: "NUHOME EXTERIORS, INC. wrote:

So why have an entire website page dedicated to windows and window replacement if you dont want to actually do the work? Why advertise ( I called from a paid ad of theirs) if you dont want to actually replace a window in woodbridge?
Guess my 1 window job was too small.....gross.

They did pretty good work but were very dirty with the roof, leaving whole shingles, pieces of plywood, large amounts of debris in the attic which we had to clean.
The quality is that of a quick job.....which is always our fear...we don't ming paying $40k as long as the quality is what is advertised. The doorbell looks like I installed it as far as not being a clean caulk job. Little nails are protruding and the gutters are covered in straw.

Fantastic experience with NuHome Exteriors and specifically Logan. He made the entire process easy. He handled everything from coordinating with the insurance company to handling the physical installation. Highly recommend!

NuHome provided excellent service replacing our front door and our sliding deck & patio doors. Exceptional salesperson and installation team. Great prices and value for money.

Worse is place to get started form. We have got cheated by one of their sales name Jasper. Firstly the color of shingles was incorrect and after installing they stopped responding and when responded they depend on their paperwork which was not correct at all while we told clearly told her we want brown color. Second is that she told us there won’t be no interest for three years while the finance company sends us bill with interest. I would think twice before contacting them. Scammers and stay away form any Home.

We recently made the decision to sell our home, which prompted us to start exploring roof replacement options. If you’re reading this, chances are you’re also researching companies and looking for honest feedback about quality and reliability. We were in the same boat—comparing providers and gathering estimates.

While some companies sent over generic quotes without seeing the property, a few took the time to send a representative. One of them was NuHome. Their rep, Jasper, visited our home, took measurements, and walked us through their products, materials, warranties, and certifications. It was a detailed and informative session that gave us a better understanding of what we were getting into—and why it mattered. We learned about things we had never considered, like ice shields and the variety of shingles available.

As we spoke further, we decided to go beyond just the roof. We asked about replacing the siding, gutters, soffits, door trim, and more—items we hadn’t initially planned to update. After a follow-up meeting and thorough walkthrough, project manager Rob and his team stepped in to finalize the plan and schedule.

To our surprise, work began almost immediately. The crew completed the roof and siding efficiently, and the transformation was incredible. The house looks so good now that we’re seriously considering raising our asking price.

From start to finish, the NuHome team exceeded our expectations. Their professionalism, attention to detail, and quality of work were exceptional. I wholeheartedly recommend them—and wouldn’t hesitate to hire them again for future projects.

Red Redfern came to provide a quote and was very knowledgeable about the product, and was upfront about the cost and available discounts. So much easier to deal with than any other window installers. I highly recommend NuHome.

Part 2 - NuHome installed the windows today. The crew was professional and thorough, and did a wonderful job.

I can’t even express just how happy I am about my new French and storm doors that I purchased from NuHome Exteriors Inc. Rick, the installer arrived at 9am and worked right up to 6:46pm. Everything was cleaned up from top to bottom before Rick left my house. He took his time and he did a fantastic job! He hung those doors with pride like this was his home. The doors are just beautiful. I could not have asked for a better company and contractor to do my project. I also want to thank Robin in explaining all the qualities of having these doors and keeping us informed of any questions we may have had in our decision. One more thanks to Rick’s son that was a big help and so pleasant in sharing questions I had inquired with him. I will definitely let all of my family and friends know about the NuHome Company.

NuHome was great in communicating and their crew was knowledgeable, skilled, clean, and respectful. If I had questions, someone would always pick up the office phone, which is increasingly rare these days. Would hire again.

Out of the three companies we received estimates from, Jasper from NuHome was the most comfortable to work with and not pushy or arrogant whatsoever. Communication was good through the progress of the project. Installation was professional and completed in a reasonable amount of time. I was also assured by a follow up phone call to encourage me to report even the smallest thing that might "seem off" and they would come out to take a look. Even though lots of companies sell ProVia entry doors, NuHome proved to have the customer service aspect that made them an excellent choice for this high cost endeavor.

We got high quality windows, much better than our original windows that came with the house.The installers were polite, professional, and skilled. They cleaned up everything at the end. We saw an immediate change in the temperature in the house. The windows were blocking the cold effectively.

A week ago this past Sunday we noted a couple shingles in our back yard. We called company that suppled the shingles and they referred us to NuHome. NuHome arrived on Tuesday afternoon, and by Thursday COB we had a new ridge cap installed, just before a fair rain Thursday evening. Great job and they were a pleasure to work with.

My appointment with Red from NuHome was unlike any sales call I have ever experienced. I didn’t feel pressured or rushed, but I did get educated about the ins and outs of doors (no pun intended). James was the initial contact person who approached me at home. His appearance, manners and personality were impressive. James and Red are valuable assets to the NuHome team.

I was really impressed with this company! We had a leak on our roof and it was 25 years old…They explained what to look for in a roof contractor in an unbiased way… price was good and they delivered a high quality roof with great warranties … No subcontractors was a big plus… Any issues… One call and taken care of….I highly recommend this company!

Just had a second sales consultation with Jasper. This time she brought her coworker Kelly. They were both very informative and patient with our questions. We were very impressed.

6-4-25-Following up on previous post- After three estimates, we chose NuHome for our project. NuHome Exteriors completed our siding and trim project, and we are pleased to give them a five-star review.

Chris, his father Steve and his entire team of installers were courteous, professional, detail oriented and respectful of our home. Each day they meticulously cleaned the worksite before leaving. Chris let us know when they would be coming and kept us informed of any possible delays. He went above and beyond, and we felt like he treated our home like he would his own. We were also grateful that Rob was in touch with us every step of the way. We will definitely keep NuHome in mind for any future home improvement projects.

I had an extremely disappointing experience with Nu Home Exterior. They rescheduled our appointment at the last minute and never confirmed the new date, leaving me in limbo. When they finally showed up, the sales pitch was overly aggressive and felt more like a hard sell than a genuine consultation.

They also promised to follow up with additional details, but that follow-up never happened. To make matters worse, they outright refused to put anything in writing, including the quote they said they’d provide. The entire process felt disorganized, unprofessional, and like a complete waste of my time. I would not recommend working with this company unless you enjoy having your time wasted.

NuHome Home Exteriors did an amazing job on our roof! No issues even years later. The sales team was professional, honest, and never pushed unnecessary upgrades. It’s been 7 years and I’m still happy with the new roof, basement, windows and doors from NuHome. Their installation crews were great and cleaned up after themselves. There was one small miscommunication whereby I had included in the quote replacing all the 50—years-old plywood on the front and the crew was to decide if anymore was to be replaced. They were going to leave it on, but I saw from within my attack how the wood was breaking when the nails came out. I had to figure out if all the plywood on the back of the house needed to come off. If I wasn’t home, I’d have 50-years shingles on top of 50-year-old brittle plywood full of holes.

Twice I’ve contacted NuHome for additional work. Each time I got a call to give a different quote. First I asked for a quote for gutters and I got a call confirming my appointment for a quote for a door. Yesterday I asked for a quote for a door and gutters. I got a call confirming my appointment for a roof, gutters, and doors. Sindy has informed me that they did not do my roof because I’m not in their system. I texted her the photo of my contract, but they evidently use a text service that doesn’t show them the photos, so I must not be a customer. Sindy’s smug response denying I am their customer is a deal killer. I’m done with NuHome.

Recently, I experienced a leak in my garage roof, and unfortunately, the GAF warranty did not cover the nail pop-ups. This left me with unexpected out-of-pocket expenses for repairs. However, Maria and her dedicated team went above and beyond by absorbing these costs to ensure my complete satisfaction. The company was not obligated to do this. Their commitment to courteous service and exceeding expectations is truly unparalleled. If you're looking for a reliable roofing company, NuHome Exteriors is the answer.

I strongly recommend NuHome. We contact over 12 companies and met with over 8 for siding and window replacement, and NuHome was the most customer service oriented and was accommodating with pricing. Red was attentive, detailed, and available to answer any and all questions throughout our siding and window upgrade. The window team was very fast, professional, and efficient. They replaced 13 windows in one day and managed everything that was unexpected behind the walls of our 1940s home. Similarly, the siding team went above and beyond to accommodate my preferences for window trim design and placing the wiring, awning, and attic vents where I want them in the orientation I wanted. The team adapted to events as we confirmed the dumpster had to be placed on our driveway and not in the street. They also cleaned up after themselves while working. When there were instances of confusion, Red took the time to follow up with us directly and help us achieve reasonable solutions. Each team member was patient, detail oriented, and diligent throughout the entire process. Red really went above and beyond to help us find a solution for unanticipated electrical challenges, which helped us stay on schedule and get the project completed as we anticipated.

A hole was punched in my screen and I called NuHome to see if my warranty would cover it. My warranty did cover it and they fixed it within a few days. Looks as good as new. NuHome has always stood by their promises, which I appreciate greatly.

NuHome was very professional. At every step along the way, we were kept informed about schedule, work details, and cost. They were always responsive to any questions. Got new gutters and soffits and I couldn’t be more thrilled. The NuHome crew did quality work with professional and quick installation. Found a leak after a severe storm rolled through and new we need to find someone with experience with residential, almost flat, roofing. NuHome was the perfect choice from the quickness of response (same day), to the right experience for our needs, NuHome delivered both an excellent product and installation in a very timely manner.

They’re easy to work with but most importantly they COMMUNICATE. They did work for my elderly parents and made the entire process simple and painless.

When storm Betty tore thru, I prayed my old roof would hold and resigned to getting my roof replaced. In answer to my prayers, Nu Home Exteriors came thru to honor an old quote and proved to be a saving Grace. Quality materials were delivered as planned, the roofing crew arrived on time and shared photos as they worked, and they executed the job within the stated time frame, including clean up. I was looking to get a bunch of work done and they happened to come by the week I was making calls to different companies. They had a representative come by, Robert "Red" Redfern, and he was awesome. He spent lots of time checking the roof out with me and showing me hands on how the roof was doing and what would probably need to be done. He also walked us through all the things that they cover and the different ways that they add protections to the roof.

Their prices were very competitive, I work on my HAO architectural review board so I see tons of people getting roofs with lots of different quotes. They also worked with our price range and had good financing options.

They got all the work done in just a few hours, fully changing out the shingles (mine were 16-18 years old and pretty worn), replacing and wrapping the rakeboards in pvc since one side was rotten and falling off, replacing the fascia and wrapping front and back and replacing the gutters with covered ones. They checked in with us several times throughout the process and have followed up making sure we are still happy rather than just doing the job and leaving.

They have a great warranty and the roof looks amazing. Highly recommend Nuhome!

NuHome recently replaced our front door including frame and 2 sidelites with a new energy efficient (ProVia) custom door and sidelites. They also installed a new storm door. They made sure we had the HOA approval before starting the job. We are satisfied with the work done by all involved in the process. Why only 4 stars? We had a miscommunication while selecting the paint colors, but the problem was resolved, we only had to wait a little longer to complete the installation. Overall, we had a good experience working with everyone at NuHome!

Excellent experience with NuHome. Great customer service. The installers did an amazing job. The installation took half a day and they left the place spotless. The windows are high quality. I highly recommend this company.

If you get a quote from them, expect hard sales tactic rather than an actual contractor coming out to provide a quote. When I first received the phone call to get quoted for window replacements, I asked specifically if we get an itemized quote and they claim that they do. It was a bit off-putting that they asked to have "all-decision" makers be at home, strongly suggesting that my boyfriend should be there even though I'm the sole owner of the house and responsible for payment. That should have been a red flag to me already.

When Robin came out, she was very professional and was able to educate us on different options that they offer. However, as soon as she began writing the pricing on paper, I immediately knew this was not going to be an honest quote. Although my valid 1-year quote would be $16,000 to replace 8 windows, we can get a huge discount and lower it to $10,000 had we signed up THAT day. I felt bad not giving her the sale that day, but I was very specific on what kind of quote I was expecting. Still, no itemized quote was ever provided.

I get a text the next day from Sindy, asking how professional and timely Robin was and I gave my honest feedback. She then said said she can lower the price for us and ended up calling my boyfriend. I have no clue how they even got his number given that I was the one that received the call, I was the one that made the appointment, and I'm the sole owner of the house. Anyways, they talked to him and were able to "lower" the price to $8k something. That's nearly half of the original $16,000 offered. And STILL no itemized quote was ever provided. I do not trust this practice whatsoever. Do not waste your time with getting a quote from this company. You're better off going with a company that will provide you with an actual cost breakdown of time, labor and materials.

NuHome you made my home look new again. I love the premium insulated vinyl siding topped off with the new 6" gutters with covers. The crew that worked on my project were fantastic, dedicated and professional the workmanship show it the clean up after the work was spotless. All of the project managers were also great, answering all my questions about the project in a timely manner. Thank you again NuHome for taking on my home improvement project keep up the excellent work. I will recommend your company to my friends and will use your services again in the future if needed.

Old wooden trim was replaced around the entire house, with new gutters and downspouts, PLUS windows and a GREAT storm door! Complete face lift on the house. It looks Amazing. Don was the 5th person (of 5 companies) that came to our house for estimates on windows and doors. He was very friendly, professional, and knowledgeable about both his company and their products. It was as if we were just having an honest conversation with a friend which then earned our business.

My experience with this siding company was extremely disappointing and concerning. Firstly, they tried to reschedule our appointment only five hours before the scheduled visit, which was inconvenient. When I called to discuss this issue, they promised to call back but never did. The salesman eventually showed up later than scheduled, which was frustrating.

During the consultation, I noticed a strong smell of perfume on the salesman, which was overwhelming. As we sat down to discuss the siding options, I also noticed a smell of alcohol on his breath, along with dilated pupils, indicating possible intoxication. Despite this, he mentioned that he was new to selling siding but casually dropped a fresh check from another customer for $13,000 on the table, which seemed unprofessional.

After the consultation, we were supposed to receive a quote within three days, but we never received anything. Follow-up emails were also left unanswered. Overall, this experience was unprofessional, concerning, and I would not recommend this company based on my experience.

I was having work done on my home by a contractor when a canvasser from NuHome knocked on my door and began to talk badly about the contractor I hired. The canvassers name was Lucas or Lee. The company doing work on my home is The Home Doctor and they are doing an excellent job and we could not be happier. To send a canvasser to my house to bash my contractor because you are jealous is unprofessional and unwarranted. I highly recommend The Home Doctor.

NuHome was recommended by neighbors who also had their roof replaced and I’m very pleased that I followed that recommendation.
The sales woman was incredibly knowledgeable and walked me through every step of the materials and how the new roof would be installed. NuHome worked with me to select a convenient installation date. The installers were efficient and very careful of my property. I was very impressed by the entire process.

We had all of our windows and storm doors replaced and are thrilled with NuHome. They are not inexpensive but offer quality product - thus the long wait for installation while all windows are being manufactured - if you're not in a rush then this is really no problem. From Mary and Mike who were knowledgeable and patient through the sales, selection and ordering process to the excellent installers, Max Lee's crew of 6 or 7, we were pleased - make sure you ask for Max's team. The installers were a well-oiled team where each member knew their role and executed the job seamlessly and professionally. From removal of old, to install to cleanup all went smoothly. The home is a log cabin so a bit more complicated to metal wrap the windows around quirky varying logs, but they figured it out and all fits perfectly. They even had the creativity to place a tiny standing seam roof over our new garden window which not only looks fantastic but matches our metal roof beautifully. Love it. Highly recommend NuHome and Max's crew of window and door installers.
Then to top it off, Rob, the project manager, came out to check in and ensure things went well with the install. He too was professional, friendly and knowledgeable. Wonderful "family" of people at NuHome.

I’m so happy to have come across NuHome Exteriors. They are very reliable and responsive. They took care of my issue promptly and kept me posted with a timeline that was accurate!

NuHome has done 2 jobs for me, the first in 2012 and the second in 2013. They "go the extra mile." Project Manager Mike Miyasato explained everything well and showed how their products were superior to the others. Most recently, I called to get information on the weather stripping on the storm door, which has experienced a lot of wear and tear the last 10 years. I didn't know if the warranty would cover that, but friendly Warranty Rep Maria Lopez quickly researched and responded by sending over professional installer Dan, who delivered just what I needed.

We needed a walk in shower and got NuHome to do install. Robin was an awesome sales person and got the right people here to explain the project and answer any questions we had!! They took out our old slippery tub and installed a really beautiful stand up shower with a very solid seat!! Keith did the install in one day and did a great job! He was polite, professional, and tidy. NuHome made did a fantastic job and we were very comfortable all the way through the process.

Contacted them on August 18th, and explained that I had some exterior trim boards that needed replacing. I explained that I was going to break it up into several projects, but starting with the immediate repairs. We scheduled for Weds Sep 13th. I asked for a calendar invite, but nothing ever showed up.

Today I got the reminder call. Well, nothing was blocked on my calendar, so I let her know that I'd have 20 minutes. It's just repairing some trim, it wouldn't take more than a few minutes to estimate that...

The lady then informs me that they only do whole house replacement. Wtf? Why did they schedule an appointment when I was clear about the work, and I waited for a month? Total waste of time and I could have had the work done by now.

The craftsmanship of the new exterior doors is amazing. They were installed quickly and have had no problems with them since. Our experience with NuHome has been positive from start to finish.

Truth be known, I was brought up the old fashioned way, with Military and Law Enforcement influencing me my entire life. Needless to say, I am a stickler for (and appreciate) people who speak with honesty and brevity, and who can make a commitment and then meet it on the dot.

As I was involved in residential home remodeling and construction right out of college, I had a better than average understanding of what goes into a roof (or so I thought).

On the day of our appointment, Miss Mary (NuHome Exteriors Sales Executive Extraordinaire) came to visit me, survey my roof, and provide a competitively priced free estimate. She was punctual, articulate, pleasant and fully armed with roofing answers and information, and was more than passingly informative during our 60 minute appointment window. Miss Mary’s warm, easy going conversation style (without the usual high pressure sales pitch I have come to hate with a passion) was a pure joy to work with.

On installation day, Miss Mary’s office had coordinated an 800 AM start time with the installation crew. At 745 AM on installation day, in front of my house, I found the install crew chief (Rudy) and his team suiting up for today’s task, after respectively parking their vehicles close by. My roof took shape quickly as the crew worked together like a well oiled machine.

Suffice it to say, I got a great job done quickly and professionally, literally in one day.
I will need windows in the future, so, without a doubt, NuHome Exteriors could look forward to yet another call from me. I am that pleased with their work.

We installed a new roof and gutters with NuHome just over 3 weeks ago and so far, so good.

Overall, the experience was wonderful... Sindy was very friendly, helpful, patient, accommodating and readily available in setting up a time for an estimate (my wife and I have a busy schedule and we had to move the date a couple of times).

Mary provided us an estimate and she was also very friendly, knowledgeable, thorough and explained things well. It did not feel like a sales pitch or pressure filled, but rather an attempt to get us the best outcome possible. She was also available to us via email, txt and phone between estimate and install (as I had a couple questions that came up!).

The crew that came out did a great job, they worked diligently throughout the day and got the job done quickly and efficiently! Very easy on us as homeowners. I went out a few times to talk to them and they were ready to show me the progress they were making. The roof and gutters look great.

NuHome seemed fairly priced, seemed about average to just above average compared to other quotes... but this was also for the highest quality GAF Shingles and a very professional and trustworthy process (and was a much lower quote compared to a similar company's estimate).

We used NuHome to replace our roof, gutters, and we also had several windows wrapped. Our initial point of contact, Mary, was very pleasant and knowledgeable. Of all the quotes we got, she was the only one that asked us to walk around the house with her while she did the estimate so she could point things out and ask questions. Once we signed, we were given one point of contact for all of the work, Rob. Rob was great about keeping us informed throughout the process which was over several days and different crews for the windows, roof, etc. The finished product looks absolutely fantastic. The only minor nit that I have is we did have some minor debris left in our bushes that I discovered after we had marked the job complete. I would definitely recommend!

This company apparently requires both the husband and wife to be present for what turned out to be a very hard sales pitch. This was not made clear at the time of my booking and the sales rep refused to move forward with our free quote when my husband had to leave to work. The rep was also late for the appointment even though she called to give a 30 minute advance notice (which should have made her a few minutes early).

It’s 2023 and I cannot believe companies have such outdated and misogynistic approaches to sales. There’s nothing a sales rep can tell me that I can’t explain to my spouse after the meeting and after I have a written quote for the products and work. It is ridiculous to require and expect both people to be able to take time off work in order to get a free estimate. I wasted over an hour of my time, and my husband over 40 minutes, meeting with someone who wouldn’t finish the meeting because my spouse had to leave, and I still don’t have a quote to show for the time that I took out of my schedule. It’s also very frustrating to be asked to make decisions without any kind of price point. Send me a quote with the low, medium and high pricing based on my house size, and I will tell you what products I want, but I’m not going to make a decision without that kind of information. It was a very disappointing experience.

Their material are superb. I see a huge difference using Nuhome’s insulated windows compared to an average window. Also, the handyman who done the labor was great! I’ll definitely will use them again and I highly recommend Nuhome.

The NuHome team was great to work with. Everyone from management to the installers were professional and courteous. They made sure our job was done to a high quality and immediately followed up to ensure we were satisfied. I highly recommend this company.

The salesman, Don, was very informative and stayed in communication with me throughout the process. The installers were on time and pleasant. I've had the roof about a month now and I have no complaints. Compared to my neighbors, it looks so much better. You can't go wrong with using this company for your roof installation needs.
