Customer feedback about NuRay Metals presents a mixed sentiment regarding their services. While many users praise the quality of the products and commend the responsive and helpful customer service from individual representatives, there are significant concerns about order accuracy and communication issues. Multiple reviews highlight frustrating experiences with incorrect orders that led to project delays, adding to the overall dissatisfaction with customer service. The inconsistencies in order fulfillment and negative interactions with management further complicate the perception of reliability at NuRay Metals.
- From purchase to installation, the customer service was absolutely on point every step of the way.
- The commitment to helping me find a solution was unlike any customer service I can recall receiving.
- Fast and friendly service, even for custom jobs.
- They helped me with dimension take-offs and ensured materials matched existing colors.
- I have a Nu-Ray roof on my house, and it has significantly improved maintenance.
- We faced issues with metal not being cut properly multiple times.
- Customer service is lacking, with orders not being fulfilled completely.
- I had a horrible experience with the general manager who screwed up my order multiple times.
- I had to come back hours later to get the rest of my order, causing delays.
- There were instances where I received materials without necessary fasteners.

We decided to go with NuRay Metals for a new garage build. The metal wasn’t cut properly and we had to return and reorder. When the second batch came, we were faced with the same issue. The rep had us go with a different metal for the third batch, since the machine for cutting it must have been off, so we did. The third batch arrived and it too wasn’t cut properly. Each time we had to wait for the old metal to be picked up and the new metal made and delivered. We also had workers, who came quite a distance to install it, to deal with each time. We finally went with a different company and the metal was perfect. Unfortunately, the NuRay disaster added just shy of two months to our project. We never received any communication, explanation, or apology from NuRay after strike three. However, we were dealing with them through a contractor. Very disappointing!

From purchase to installation, Jeremy Legary was absolutely on point every step of the way. What really stood out was how responsive and patient he was—despite clearly having a full plate, he took the time to answer every one of my (many) questions via text without ever making me feel like a bother. Jeremy delivers the kind of old-school customer service that's hard to find these days—genuine, thorough, and truly focused on doing right by the customer. If I could give more than 5 stars, I absolutely would.

I’m a gutter/siding contractor that has used NuRay multiple times for custom flashing work. Each time, they helped me with dimension take-offs from old pieces of flashing, and even worked with my gutter materials supplier to get the material they needed so it would match existing gutter color. Fast and friendly and not afraid of small jobs. Yes, the parking is tight but I’m not dinging them for that. Highly recommended.

The average roof replacement cost for a residential home typically ranges from $7,000 to $15,000, depending on factors such as roof size, chosen materials, roof pitch, and labor rates in your area. Premium materials or complex designs may increase the price.
The cost to replace the roof of a commercial building typically ranges from $5 to $12 per square foot, depending on several factors such as roof size, material, labor rates, building type, and local code requirements.
Several factors influence roof repair cost, including the extent of the damage, roof accessibility, material type, labor costs, and whether it’s a general repair or an emergency fix. Minor repairs can start around $150–$400, while major repairs may exceed $1,500.
Roof leak repair cost generally ranges from $300 to $800, depending on the size and location of the leak, the materials required, and labor intensity. Complex leaks involving structural repairs or interior damage will cost more.
Flat roof repair cost for commercial properties usually ranges from $500 to $3,000, depending on the roofing material (TPO, EPDM, PVC), the extent of the damage, and roof accessibility.
Mobile home roof replacement cost typically ranges from $3,000 to $8,000, making it generally more affordable than traditional home roof replacements, due to smaller size and simpler structure.
It's not necessary to stay home during roof replacement. Roofing work is noisy and can cause vibrations inside the house, which might be uncomfortable. Most homeowners choose to leave during major parts of the project, but our team ensures safety and keeps you updated, whether you're home or not.
The timeline for a roof replacement typically ranges from one to three days, depending on the size and complexity of the roof, weather conditions, and material type. Larger or more intricate roofs may take a bit longer, but we always aim for efficient, timely completion.
To hire a roofing contractor, start by researching local companies with good reviews and proper licensing. Request quotes from multiple contractors, verify their insurance and certifications, and ask for references. Always ensure you get a written contract that outlines the scope of work, timeline, and payment terms.
Check if a roofing company is legit by verifying their business license, insurance, and local certifications. Look for memberships in professional associations, read customer reviews, and ask for recent project references. A legitimate company will be transparent and provide all documentation upon request.
When choosing a roofing company, consider their experience, customer reviews, warranty offerings, and quality of materials. Make sure they provide clear communication, detailed estimates, and a solid portfolio of completed projects. Local expertise is also a major advantage for understanding regional roofing needs.
Warning signs that your roofing contractor might be ripping you off include vague contracts, pressure to pay large upfront deposits, lack of proper documentation, and unexplained price increases. Always ask for itemized estimates and written guarantees, and avoid contractors who avoid answering your questions directly.
