It is hard to believe that it has been almost three years since Northern Pacific Exteriors completed our full house siding project. I’d like to offer a long-term review now that we’ve had a few years to live with the results.

It is hard to believe, but I think I’m even happier with the quality of the work now than I was when they wrapped up the job. The house looks as good as it did when they pulled out of the driveway for the last time. I literally have nothing that doesn’t look right about the job after three years of living with it. The work still looks new.

Northern Pacific Exteriors is the contractor we all hope we find, especially for big-ticket projects that require highly skilled crews. Superb attention to detail. Every promise was kept. Easy to work with. Fair pricing. Kept to the schedule and showed up with a full crew everyday. Left the job site clean. Honest, fair, and straightforward in every way - no games just superior results. I just cannot recommend them too highly.

If you need to have work done, care about quality workmanship and want the peace of mind that comes from dealing with real professionals, these are the folks for your job.

Over the years I have had a number of different contractors and people that have done a variety of different things at my house and have rarely been satisfied and had just about given up hope that honest companies that operate with integrity and believe in doing quality work and providing good service actually existed , then I found Northern Pacific Exteriors. A neighbor recommended them and I knew right from the beginning they were different . The line of communication was exceptional . They answered all our questions , kept us informed during every stage of the process and did exactly what they said they would do when they said they would do it. Even when I had a problem with the permit they had it fixed within an hour. I'm rarely wowed by a company but I could sum up me experience in one word WOW. I would highly recommend Norther Pacific Exteriors for any exterior housing need you may have I'm sure you'll be very happy.

The crew at northern pacific exteriors did an excellent job replacing all my fascia boards and coordination of new gutters. There prices were the best out of the three companies I reached out too and look forward to working with them again.

. Hired NPE to replace fiber cement siding on two sides of my house due to buckling and water damage. The siding was not properly installed per manufacturer’s specs by original builder. Wanted to ensure new siding was properly installed this time to get full benefit of manufacturer’s 30-year warranty.
. Learned that NPE is one of the few highly rated, certified installers of Hardie board siding, which was why I went with them. Very satisfied with how the installation went. Customer service was top notch and they kept me up-to-date as work progressed, which I appreciated.
. It was an expensive repair for sure, but I didn’t want to cut corners by hiring a cheaper, less qualified installer and have to deal with this problem again. Do it once and do it right was the approach that I took.

They communicated very well and cleaned up very well after the project. Roof looks great. They even helped me move an awning away from the house so it wouldn't get damaged, and they actually put it back after they were done! Price was lowest out of the three bids I got as well.

From beginning to end our project was handled with highly trained employees that were very respectful of our home, great work ethics and timely. Each day we had communication with the main office and were kept abreast of the progress and were able to get answers to any questions we had promptly. The crew was very detailed oriented and never missed a beat! We are very pleased with the completion of our project and would highly recommend them.

Had a new roof installed by NPE and it looks great. The communication throughout was very prompt and professional. Each day they cleaned up the worksite really well. What really sold us was how quickly and thoroughly they answered all of our questions.

Don't waste your precious time with roofing companies like roofsmart or blue raven solar who drag you along for years with empty promises,go to a good company like Northern Pacific Exteriors. They encouraged me to keep looking for a loan or two even after being turned down by a ton of companies. The sweet voice on the other line when I first called took me by surprise. I actually found someone who cared. Maybe it was possible after literally giving up hope and then our roof caving in one side,I had called this last company whom I had just received a flyer. It magically appeared at a time when I needed it the most. I breathed a sigh of relief, just to have one more place to call. One more ounce of hope snuck in when I thought it no longer possible. When I finally got funding I noticed I could breathe easier and I was happier. We got multiple quotes and chose a company based on price, but also promised quality (James Hardie brand products used on everything, etc.). My experience with NPR has been a new and great experience from the time I got my quote until the end of the project on my two houses although there's still one small part left aii the work professional would recommend them to my friends.

We had a great experience with our roof replacement with Northern Pacific Exteriors. We needed new plywood decking and they included the cost upfront and charged a reasonable amount. The bid process was smooth and we had a great salesperson who explained what we wanted and skipped the rest. They were running a few weeks behind the timeframe that the salesperson told us, but they kept us aware of the scheduling. The crew that did the work was very professional. They completed the work in December by being aware of the rain forecasts and adding the plywood in sections that could be waterproofed before the next rain. I appreciated that they went through the permit process for us and got everything inspected. We got multiple bids and would definitely go with Northern Pacific Exteriors in the future.

How many wonderful things can I say about this company. First of all, I had done a large scope of project with another siding and roofing company and dealt with a level of frustration that no human should endure. Then by chance I emailed this company and the general manager was so kind and accommodating that I could almost cry. I talked to more than a half-dozen contractors, and I’m quite pleased with the work Northern Pacific Exteriors did with my home’s siding!

I felt they offered a fair price for the pre-painted Hardie lap and trim materials used for the job as well as the labor costs. 

I’m very happy with the quality of the work, and even more pleased with the high level of communication throughout the process. They never balked at any of my questions, and even better, they didn’t hesitate to ask me when anything unexpected came up!

We have a 35 year old house that has cedar siding. The south end takes a beating between the winter "Pineapple Express" storms and the summer sun. Over time, even though it was painted regularly, the siding failed. Finding some rot last summer, we decided to have this south end's siding replaced. Do we select cedar again or something like James Hardie "HardiePlank"?

Although I'm now retired, I worked for a company that was the major supplier of wood cellulose to James Hardie USA. I was the salesman to Hardie. Knowing what I know of HardiePlank, I decided to go with something "bullet proof" that could stand up to the harsh elements we have on that end of the house and offer a warranty.

Doing on-line research, I saw that many said they could install Hardie products, but only a few were rated "Elite Preferred" by James Hardie. My memory of Hardie was the product failures are mostly caused by improper handling and installation. Having the siding installed by manufacturer standards was important to me.

A few "Elite Preferred" siding contractors came out to give is a bid. Kurt of Northern Pacific did their bid. He was so informative! Due to my past relationship with James Hardie, I am not the "normal" Hardie customer. Kurt was the most direct and clear - no sales bluster. On that basis, I chose Northern Pacific.

This was comparatively a small job and they were able to squeeze it in just before Thanksgiving. I was concerned it would be done in the late Fall with risk of weather damage when the side was opened up. A few my nervous calls to Michelle (NP's general manager) assured me all would be done with out rain risk. Just before the install date, Ben (the site foreman) came to do some final job scoping. He was also very good and clear in answering my many questions and concerns.

The crew who did the install was first rate. They really hustle! The cedar siding tear down did reveal some damage to the under plywood sheeting and even the structural house frame due to years of moisture getting through the wood siding. The crew replaced the plywood and did repairs to the rotty house frame. The City of Olympia inspector checked the game plan off before it was done. Within about 3 days it was done start to finish. Care was even given to make sure the profile of the new lap siding matched the pattern of siding on the adjacent side. Visually, they look the same. Real craftsmen! The yard was clean when they were done and no damage to the house plants. That end of the house looks super!

If I had one word to summarize the Northern Pacific Exteriors experience, it is COMMUNICATION . What was promised was delivered. My many, many questions were answered. Ben the foreman often sought me out to give me a progress update as the job was being done. Considering the rot found, this was especially helpful. Daily, Michelle would call to ask me how the day's work went.

We totally recommend Northern Pacific and will use them again should the need arise.

Northern Pacific Exteriors gets five stars due to their flawless performance on the project on my home to replace the siding and redo outdated red bricks under the bay window. The owner came out for the initial bid on the project. As we walked around the house, I noted a couple of areas that were going to cause water damage in the future. He assured me these would be fixed in the process. The more we spoke about the different enhancements to our outdated home, I could tell that this company was the one I wanted to hire.

The workers showed up everyday at the same time every morning from start to finish. (We like that the NPE company hired its own construction workers and does not sub out the contract.). The workers worked very hard, no messing around, and the quality of the work was flawless. Very professional, and courteous staff.

I had daily contact with the project manager. Any concerns or comments were addressed immediately. It was nice to have this daily contact. This really was a hassle free project from start to finish. Not something that can be said of a lot of contractors.

I would hire this company again in a second. Am still amazed at how nice our place turned out.

This is the 3rd major siding renovation I've done on a home; Northern Pacific Exteriors was the most communicative company I've dealt with by far. Regular updates, crew was on time every day, no surprises, etc. That level of peace of mind is valuable when it's your home and you're spending a lot of $. The work seems very high quality too, though I'm not educated enough about siding to have truly assessed it on a granular level. Also they recommended using Color Plus siding, which means it's pre-painted. Other contractors didn't want to use this product. By using Color Plus, I won't have to paint the siding, so that's a nice big savings. Also their quote was a good bit lower than other contractors, but the quality of product and overall value seemed higher with Northern Pacific Exteriors. Win/win/win. Highly recommended.

Northern Pacific Exteriors did a phenomenal job on our siding and windows project. From the beginning, they let us know exactly what to expect and they certainly delivered. Between the crew and the office staff, we were kept very informed of all important project details and progress updates. The crew was thorough, professional, and clearly skilled. NPE recently completed a major remodel of our home. We asked a lot of them and they delivered. They removed our old styrofoam and stucco siding, raised some windows, replaced all our windows and doors, and re-sided the house using Hardie Architectural panels. They provided top of the line weather sealing fabric under the panels and made sure everything was flashed and caulked. We also asked them to alter two areas and to use a hardwood on the exterior fascia. They did a beautiful job.
Even though we sealed the hardwood, this fall it expanded and caused problems. NPE responded immediately and made alterations to fix those problems.
They are excellent at communicating and respond quickly. They definitely have been there for us. Ben and his crew were always on time and worked hard and efficiently. We highly recommend them!

In the case of each project they left our home with no signs they had been there but for the product they installed. We have used Northern Pacific for three roofs now, on two rentals and our personal home. They do excellent work with a professional crew and high quality materials, but beyond that, my favorite thing about them is their clear and precise communication. They tell you exactly when things will happen, and then they do actually happen. Moreover, they are proactive about communication. I have very rarely had to be the one to make a call for an update because they call first. After wasting time on missed appointments and people who took weeks to even return a call, NPE was a breath of fresh air, and I haven't really considered other options since.

We used NPE to do our roofing in 2018 (thanks to a neighbor's recommendation) and it was a great experience. We often recommend NPE for roofing jobs and two of our neighbors used them in recent years. When it was time to redo our gutters, siding and replace a few windows, we did not hesitate to reach out to NPE again. The consultants who helped us pick the materials and colors were patient and thorough. The crew who did the installation were professional and did a good job. The office staff were friendly and responsive. The clean up was great too. NPE got us on their schedule quickly. There were a few (very minor) wonky spots on the siding but they came right back out and fixed it to our complete satisfaction. We are very happy with the results!

After vetting several companies, I landed on NPE and I am happy I did. You may pay a little more, but you truly get what you pay for. NPE is incredibly communicative before, during and after the project. I unexpectedly had to have an electrician come to move my meter as part of the siding replacement activities and NPE coordinated seamlessly with the electrician. The crew was here Monday-Friday, on time every day working carefully and continuously to get the job done. The end result is absolutely beautiful! We would definitely hire them again for future jobs.

Best experience I’ve had working with a company on home repairs. I had NPE put new siding on my very, very old home with a ton of unique surprises for them. They handled it professionally and creatively to make my home look the best it’s ever looked. Definitely hire Northern Pacific Exteriors (NPE) if you want high quality meticulous work done efficiently, safely, and right on budget and schedule. I purchased my first home ever in 2019, but it needed major refurbishments (which is part of what put it within my reach financially). All of my neighbors advised me to get this James Hardie siding, so I researched the brand, submitted an inquiry through their website, and was contacted by NPE. They provided a quote for the siding so I knew what to budget for, but the roof needed to be replaced first. I used NPE for my roof replacement since I knew I was planning to use them for my siding project, and drew up a multi-year financial plan to tackle these projects. On both jobs, NPE's team worked efficiently and did an outstanding job. The guys showed incredible attention to detail and I could tell they all really took pride in their work. In addition to the siding installation, they took out a chimney that had considerable rot, and installed a new window to in its place to bring the light in. This also meant fixing the roof line. They were able to handle everything and there were no surprises, NPE delivered exactly what they promised. The best part is that now my house actually holds the heat in and feels like a home now. NPE is worth the investment!

Explained everything to me. Then once they started Lisa would call me every day to let me know what was going on that day and asked if I had any questions or concerns. In March 2022, I had NPE re-roof my son-in-law's manufactured home. They did a great job and it was fairly priced. There were a couple of hiccups along the way but they were all addressed to my satisfaction (and better than I would have expected). I recommend Northern Pacific Exteriors.

I decided to hire NP Exteriors (NPE) after witnessing their workers' professionalism and craftsmanship during the roof replacement on a neighbor's home. Throughout the work on our home, from start to finish, the crew continued to demonstrate their ability to perform the tasks with skill and efficiency in coordination with one another. During the work, the NPE onsite manager identified deficiencies with window flashing and siding evident in the original construction of our home. Each issue allowed inclement weather to damage the structure over time. NPE graciously corrected the deficiencies thereby preventing a re-occurrence of the damage. Had a great experience from start to finish. Every single team member was friendly, professional, and polite. They had great communication throughout the entire project. While I was on the waitlist for installation, they sent biweekly emails to let me know what number I was at. And during installation they called daily to give updates.

I received several bids from different companies, but chose to go with NPE. Every interaction, from every department was exceptional. They were all well informed of the product, process, and company history/values. They were very patient and never pushy. I really appreciated the customer focused attention to detail and the overall professionalism.

Needed a roof and did my research. This company was advertised as the best and was the best. My roof looks extremely better and beautiful. Customer service kept me updated on start date and the crew did an excellent job cleaning up after the work was done.

My husband and I met with them and love the product and will use them, but I will not give a good review of the credit department they use. Salal. They are not fair. They are narrow minded,only use one credit company and they are WRONG. if you use these r oofers,offers, your own financing. Just saying. Not a good experience. Word to the wise. I WILL use northern pacific roofers but get my own financing.

Working with Northern Pacific Exteriors was a positive experience. Communication was made on a daily basis until the project was complete. The employees were professional and courteous.

Our home siding replacement, roof/gutter replacement went very well from the first contact. There was no hard sell and we were given an extremely competitive bid. Timothy gave us very detailed explanations of every aspect of the removal and installation of the siding, roof, gutters and 2 skylights, answering every question we had in layman's terms. We received weekly schedule updates until they moved in and began work on the siding. Despite beginning in February, a cold and extremely wet season, it didn't slow them down. The guys that installed our siding were great! They were very proficient and took their work seriously. They were also thoughtful about consulting us about our preferences related to minor finishing details. They worked safely and kept a very clean worksite, cleaning up after themselves each day.

Amber was our contact at their home office and she called us every day to ask if we had any questions or concerns. Fortunately, we had none since it all went so smoothly and like clockwork. The only unfortunate issue that occurred during our project was the lockdown and quarantine due to Covid-19. Northern Pacific Exteriors bent over backwards to get our projects completed before the lockdown, even by bringing in extra workers to complete the roof. We are so thankful for that!

What we thought was just a couple bad areas turned out to be more. In fact a total roof replacement.
Very professional, the company provided a port a potty for the guys, brought in a dumpster, cleaned up every night. Never knew they were here.The office called me every day to let me know the progress. This was completed in 3 days. The neighbors started 2 days before and at day 5, still getting it worked on.

We used Northern Pacific Exteriors six years ago to reside our house. At that time, they had a special to get gutters installed free with the purchase of new siding. I am still in love with how the whole house looks. This past year the gutters in the back of the house fell off taking the fascia and part of the soffit with it. I called Northern Pacific to see if it was covered under their warranty. Even if it wasn't we were going to have them replace it so that we knew everything matched. They came out looked at it and said they would be out to put up new gutters in a couple weeks - free of charge! No hassling involved. They have always been so easy to work with and so professional. I would recommend them for any of their services!

Gary, came out to my place and gave me a free estimate on what it would cost to have my roof removed and replaced. He was very open and honest, answered any questions I had. He never pressured me to sign any contract. He was easy to work with and talk too. I give Gary 5 stars!

I had a quick turn requirement to get my roof redone for insurance purposes. Roof was about 30 plus yeas old...3 levels of shingles and some wood damage. This company was lightning fast, in constand communications and did a superb job.

We have a beautiful new roof. The products to be used were described and the sequence of events for the prep work was explained at each step along the way. All the separate facets of the project were handled very professionally by all the contractors involved in the project. The on-site installers were very efficient, cleaned up after themselves every day and were very friendly. I don't think I could be more pleased.

We recently had a new roof and gutters installed on our home by Northern Pacific Exteriors. I must say that this company has their act together. The workers showed up on time each day, were very skilled at what they do and took the time to do it perfect. We also had a call each day from the project manager to see how things went that day and advised us of the next step. In my opinion skilled workers employed by the company and daily communication with the project manager is a rare commodity. We are extremely pleased with our new roof and gutters and would highly recommend this company.

Northern Pacific Exteriors beat their competitors bids by $10,000. They communicated with me often before the start of my project, and everyday during my project. The office staff were available to answer my questions on Saturdays and Sundays.

The crew was professional and hard working. I didn't expect them to come out on a Saturday, but they did!

The Install Manager came out and checked on his crew during the job. At the end of my project, he came out and performed a quality control check. He was also available to me so that I could ask questions specific to my home. All communication was prompt, usually within an hour.

Excellent! Very professional from start to finish. Lots of assistance up front to help us in selecting our roof type and color, including many references and viewings of existing roofs. Installation crew was very professional; none of the music playing, loud talk, or rough language we've come to expect from similar work crews. Totally friendly crew that cleaned up our yard and their work areas every day! Even responded to special requests we made for pre-painting hard-to-reach boards prior to installation. Final inspection was extremely thorough, even included washing our skylights. The management team kept us informed before and during the whole process with updates prior to starting, and daily updates during installation.
