False advertisement.House was dirty from top to bottom.when I first moved in. There was old laundry sitting in the laundry room for, like, two years that didn't belong to anyone in the house. Whenever there were problems, Deontay would act like he didn't care and would sometimes not even pick up the phone. I remember one time I was trying to talk to him about his lack of communication and he was talking over me and not allowing me to finish what I had to say. He even walked away as I was talking to him. He would change the locks to the front door without my knowledge and the last time he did that he didn't even give me or anyone in the house a key to the house. I would not recommend NSURent to anyone and Deontay is an incompetent, apathetic, and unqualified landlord and should be relieved of his duties.

I have worked with this firm for a few months. I’m very happy with the interactions we’ve had: always polite, careful and helpful. Terms are reasonable, and it’s easy to make transactions when they’re necessary. Renovations in my building are simple, elegant, useful and show respect for the historic value and nature of the place and surrounding neighbourhoods. I hope to stay for a while.

I’ve lived in the property for almost a year. Owner messages me about once a month asking if the property is up to standards and if there are any issues. Great property management and cares about the tenants.

I’ve been living here about 3 months so far & have no complaints. When my toilet broke, it was fixed the same day. My room is also very spacious & accommodating & my landlord is very helpful & understanding. Definitely would recommend to friends & family.

I rented from with NSURent from 2018-2019 my last year as a student and was highly satisfied. In the year I was there any issues we had were addressed quickly by maintenance. I felt safe and comfortable in the rental, and would recommend them to everyone.

This is the second time renting with this company and the homes/rooms are of extremely poor quality. The pictures are not accurate of the current situations in the homes. The landlord, Deontay, is very nonchalant and is not understanding of the importance of things like an infestation of ants!!! This current unit was not cleaned, the hallway filter for the hvac unit looks as old as the home, there are holes taped with packing tape in the floors, there appears to be work started on a closet and left, a door is coming off the hinges, bathroom door missing and unfinished. So needless to say I would NOT recommend these units and/or the company as I have not been able to get through to anyone other than the gentleman, Deontay, even when calling the general number on the site.

Service questions
1. Should I stay home during roof replacement?

It's not necessary to stay home during roof replacement. Roofing work is noisy and can cause vibrations inside the house, which might be uncomfortable. Most homeowners choose to leave during major parts of the project, but our team ensures safety and keeps you updated, whether you're home or not.

2. How long does roof replacement take?
+-

The timeline for a roof replacement typically ranges from one to three days, depending on the size and complexity of the roof, weather conditions, and material type. Larger or more intricate roofs may take a bit longer, but we always aim for efficient, timely completion.

3. How to hire a roofing contractor?
+-

To hire a roofing contractor, start by researching local companies with good reviews and proper licensing. Request quotes from multiple contractors, verify their insurance and certifications, and ask for references. Always ensure you get a written contract that outlines the scope of work, timeline, and payment terms.

4. How to check if a roofing company is legit?
+-

Check if a roofing company is legit by verifying their business license, insurance, and local certifications. Look for memberships in professional associations, read customer reviews, and ask for recent project references. A legitimate company will be transparent and provide all documentation upon request.

5. How to choose a roofing company?
+-

When choosing a roofing company, consider their experience, customer reviews, warranty offerings, and quality of materials. Make sure they provide clear communication, detailed estimates, and a solid portfolio of completed projects. Local expertise is also a major advantage for understanding regional roofing needs.

6. How do you know if your roofing contractor is ripping you off?
+-

Warning signs that your roofing contractor might be ripping you off include vague contracts, pressure to pay large upfront deposits, lack of proper documentation, and unexplained price increases. Always ask for itemized estimates and written guarantees, and avoid contractors who avoid answering your questions directly.
