They are a small business (not a chain or franchise) and locally owned by the 2 brothers -- though their company has expanded since I first used them, the service is still great as ever. I tell everyone I meet about Jesse James Critter Gitters. These guys aren’t afraid of getting dirty and taking care of all the pest problems!!! They helped seal up all the little spaces around the outside of my house where the mice were getting in. James K. is so friendly and helpful when he comes every 2 months to check on the bait stations. He even found and sealed up an additional hole that was potentially allowing some of the mice in, when I told him about an increase of activity.

James is the best at catching snakes around my property, and in my house! His calm and confident demeanor is a great balance to the way I feel around snakes. Lucky we found him several years ago when we had a snake under our fridge. While other companies couldn't come for days (or didn't "do" snakes as part of their pest control), James came right away and didn't leave until the snake was caught. I’ve had this company come out for 3 separate animal removals over the last 5 years. They have helped with bird nests, squirrels in the attic, and a raccoon this last time (all unrelated). The team is responsive, friendly, and knowledgeable. Their price is very fair for the services provided, and the technicians are very good about recognizing how wildlife removal is one part of a restoration. They account for pieces the roofers and HVAC guys may need, for example. I appreciate their “big picture” point of view.

Prompt response, came out within 2 hours to pick up a dead deer in our yard which we are guessing got hit by a car, wandered in, and died. $500 seemed fair based off other quotes we received

I wanted to take a moment to thank the team at Jesse James. My experience with their company started when their technician, a young man aptly named Hunter came and introduced himself. He was very friendly and he had been briefed on the issue in hand and got right to it. A raccoon was possibly nesting in my attic and so he came and inspected, going into the attic and going on top of the roof and the back of the roof.

He explained everything to me very patiently. A prior technician from another company who came to give an estimate just said that it would be thousands of dollars to trap an animal, whereas Hunter showed me how he did not see any damage or points of access that would be indicative of the presence of a raccoon.

I really appreciate their honesty and that's all you can ask for in the game these days. Unfortunately, some are less honest than others. But I would very happily engage Jesse James, again, such an unfortunate scenario. Thank you so much for the outstanding service.

Wonderful experience. I called and within 2 hours Brian and his colleague took care of birds nesting in a bathroom vent and pipe. Was a dead bird as well. Removed, cleaned and disinfected and put up a discrete cage to block access by other birds. So pleasant and efficient. Highly recommend!

We called them early in the morning and they arrived within three hours. The whole removal, cleaning process and bird guard installation took only about 40 minutes. Had a few bird/animal vent guards fall off our house recently. Emailed the company, had a response within minutes. Back and forth a few times about details and when I asked about potential same day service, they were able to squeeze me in same day (which was my off day and much appreciated to get it taken care of!). Came out to the house, inspected each vent that was 30+ft off the ground, and their services really depend on what they find/needs to be done. Could've easily said both were "filthy" and required the more expensive full service, but instead they were honest and said only 1 needed it, and the other just needed the much cheaper replacement of the guard. This goes a long way in my book! Did a wonderful job, and would recommend them to anybody needing this sort of service. Thank you again.

My experience was awesome. The tech came out and knocked out the job with knowledge and finesse. We had a bird issue. They were getting into our dryer vent and nesting in there. The tech came and removed all the nesting mess and disinfected the area and installed a cage around the vent so we don’t have to worry about this issue anymore. Had them come out a year ago to remove a bird nest from a vent, install cages over all vents, and clean the dryer vent. Very thorough, professional, and reasonably priced. Now they come out every year to clean the dryer vent and check on the cages over all our vents. They just left from our annual maintenance visit. Once again the worker was kind, professional, and thorough. Great local company with great workers! Highly recommend.

Jesse was quick to schedule, arrived on time, and did a great job cleaning out the bird’s nest from our kitchen range vent. He even disinfected the vent and installed a wire deterrent to keep birds from coming back. We’re very happy with the service!

Brian came out and looked at our attic. He saw no squirrel activity, whereas Orkin and Senate were ready to charge me a lot for squirrel removal. ! This was $99 well spent! I can get my soffits repaired now. And Brian says if my handyman sees or hears any sort of animal activity while working, then I should call him and he will be back to take care of it.

Brian was so nice and knowledgeable about my problem of squirrels and birds nesting in the rafters of my front porch. He Arrived on time and spent An extensive amount of time going over all areas of the house that could be potential points of entry. We had an issue where snakes got into the house and laid eggs, where we then had baby snakes pop up in the basement. I had a very serious wasp/hornet infestation under my porch and in the eves under my roof. I’d been away for six weeks and they took full advantage to build massive nests.
