When we hired Northern Tropic to build a large sunroom, we did not know that our daughter would be getting married in our back yard soon after the room was supposed to be finished! Troy promised that it would be done in time for us to prepare the yard, and it was. This only happened because of the hard work of John, Brandon, Aaron, Jeff, and Dante, who often worked past quitting time to finish. In spite of the tight timeline, the quality of the work was never compromised. It is a beautiful addition to our house that absolutely exceeds our expectations. Everything from the large glass panels to the smallest light are of the highest quality, so it is also very functional. In addition, we were charged exactly the quoted price and no more, and all of our questions and concerns were dealt with promptly and pleasantly. We highly recommend Northern Tropic.

Northern Tropic just completed a sunroom off the back of our home. The space exceeds all of our expectations for quality and workmanship, it's just beautiful! Thanks to Troy, Jeff, Liam, Brandon, and everyone else who worked on it - the whole team was kind, considerate, and clearly takes pride in what they do. We really appreciated the fixed price contract, it meant that even though there were some unexpected costs, like a metal roof, they weren't passed on to us and there were no surprises. We'll be enjoying this room for years to come and highly recommend Northern Tropic.

We are very pleased with the work and professionalism. The owner Troy has put together an excellent team: Liam, Theo, Connor and the rest (my apologies forgetting the other names). The minor issue is that the company that provided the sliding doors did not meet the same high standards. The deficiencies were corrected by Troy’s team. Highly recommended.

Good quality, detail works. Nice staff, very responsible. We decided build sunroom on backyard deck. The project completed in winter, they still keep high level quality. They solved the irregular shape problem for me, made new stairs, and finished insulation to keep warm in winter. We can enjoy the sunny summer even better.

We cannot say enough about the gorgeous job Zsolt and Steven did putting the roof on our pergola and giving us another room on our house. They kept the area exceptionally clean and answered any questions we had during installation. Troy created a flawless design and was a pleasure to work with. Northern Tropics is amazing. We are thrilled with our sunroom. Everything is perfect! There is an extremely high quality of craftsmanship in all the work that they did. Troy did an amazing job of envisioning and designing the project.The carpentry team of Zsolt (foreman), Mathew, Ben, Alex, & John were professional & paid attention to every detail. Larry the drywaller worked tirelessly to complete the project quickly. He is a perfectionist and this shows in the high quality of his work. I have had this company work on two projects at my house. They were extremely professional and friendly. As an architect, I have worked with many contractors in my job and these folks are at the top. Especially, John, who was the project foreman. He was always thinking ahead and problem solving when necessary. I would recommend them without hesitation.

Price was competitive and the finished product was completed just under the time we were originally told, and it was just what we wanted! In late February 2016, after many frustrating years dealing with water leaks in our 26 year old sunroom, we decided to replace it. Northern Tropic Sunrooms was chosen from the list of quotes received. Manager Troy Nelson outlined the scope of work required and provided a detailed written estimate in a timely fashion to complete the work. The sunroom was constructed in Western Red Cedar in early July. The workmen were prompt, courteous and patient to field our queries during construction. John, the lead carpenter, amazed us with his attention to detail and workmanship. A true craftsman as had been pointed out to us from the onset. We couldn't be happier with the finished product. The length of the project was in part due to the arrival of Conserva Glass Plus, a Four Season's product designed to reflect heat in the hot summer and retain warmth during the colder months. We were somewhat skeptical about this claim but have found it does work. During construction the property was kept clean and returned to it's original condition upon completion. We have no hesitation in recommending Troy and his team to anyone considering a similar upgrade.
