Jeff was very thorough in his inspection and when I wasn’t able to get out of work obligations he still made sure to work me into his schedule. Which was impressive due to a 2 hour time difference and it was well into the evening for him! The inspection had so many details and pictures and he made sure to explain each detail. If I ever buy another house or have a family member who needs an inspection in the area I will be recommending Jeff.

I am from out of state so it was difficult to find an inspector to travel to a small town in cetral ND. Jeff answered his phone (No Message to call me back) and traveled 2 hours to do the inspection within the week. Jeff did a thorough inspection from plumbing, electrical, yard grading, insulation, roof and many other things. Do to his report I decided not to purchase this home. I plan to use him agian when I find another one. Thanks Jeff!

Nine years ago, I used North Star Inspections and was very pleased with them. Jerron made sure I knew everything about his findings and understood what should be done with the problems he found. Now, nine years later, I'm contacting him again to do 2 inspections for my sister and I. He's the one I trust to tell me the truth!

My wife and I moved to Grand Forks, ND from another state, which made it a little more stressful than normal to buy a home that we weren't able to spend a lot of time looking around at on our own.

Jeff performed a very thorough inspection. He has a lot of knowledge, but he's willing to phone in specialists when he knows they can provide a more thorough inspection. Case in point, he had an HVAC/plumber come look at an odd bathroom ventilation that the previous owner had DIY'd. Turned out it wasn't up to code so we asked the seller to bring it up to code in our counter offer, which they accepted.

After living in the home for a few months, Jeff was also kind enough to respond to a call when we were having a hard time figuring out how the many thermostats in our home related to the radiators we have. It ended up being stupid simple and I felt bad for wasting Jeff's time, but he was polite and happy he was able to help without making me feel dumb at all.
