Ben and Kole did an awesome job. Answered any questions we had. Showed us the sewer scope. Went through item by item at the end and explained everything to us and gave recommendations and options to fix the problems. Very good!! Would use again in future!

Our warranty inspection was invaluable to provide minor rework required for our general contractor. The inspectors were on time, professional, took their time and explained the process and their recommended findings.

Lars has been to our home multiple times. Pre sale inspection, pre-closing inspection, warranty inspection, etc. And now we've unfortunately had to call him in for mold in our home. (THANKS FOR ANOHTER SUPRISE, BROOKSTONE PROPERTIES!... UGH, Is there no limit to how much this builder sucks?)

Anyway, Lars and his team are always prompt, professional, knowledgeable, and precise. If I could hire him to build our next home, I most certainly would. He does not play politics to protect the builders or contractors. If you hired him, he works for you and only you.

We recently were on the process of purchasing an older home. We were concerned about hidden issues common to older homes. The staff met us at the property, had a very professional and THOROUGH report assembled on a tablet that they covered with us point by point. They then took considerable time to answer our many questions!! We left, educated and ready to confidently move forward.

# Challenges Encountered Since Purchasing Our Home

Since we bought our home, we have faced numerous challenges:

**Flooring Replacement**: We had to replace all the flooring due to an excessive amount of dog hair embedded not only in the carpets but also in the walls. The entryway contained a section glued down to conceal water damage, and mold was prevalent. Upon removing the trim, we discovered dog hair and mold everywhere, along with significant stains that the previous homeowners had hidden during the initial walkthrough.
**Improper Window Sealing**: Several windows were poorly sealed, leading to substantial heat and cooling loss, as well as noticeable wind noise.
**Ventilation Cleaning**: We promptly hired a professional to clean our ventilation system, only to find that the previous homeowners had never done this.
**Mold Inspection**: We had to immediately hire a mold inspector to evaluate the air quality, unfortunately, it was not in acceptable condition, prompting us to purchase air purifiers for every room.
**Kitchen Mold**: Mold was discovered in the kitchen cabinets, necessitating a thorough bleaching of all items before we could move in.
**Wall Issues**: The realtor assured us that the peeling sections of the half wall were merely tape, but we later realized it was actually the wall deteriorating. Other rooms also showed similar issues.
**Door Replacement**: Nearly every door had holes, which were not disclosed in the listing and only came to light during our final inspection.
**Appliance Replacements**: We had to replace the overhead microwave and have already replaced parts in the refrigerator.
**Roof Replacement**: We are currently in the process of replacing the roof due to a leak that originated from an overhead lighting fixture, involving electrical work.

It’s worth noting that we paid for an inspection, and none of these issues were mentioned. The inspector highly recommended the realtor, leading us to suspect he may have received a kickback for the referral.

I’ve been contemplating leaving a review regarding the terrible experience we had with this inspector, but I decided to wait a few more months to see if anything else goes wrong. The property cost $318,900 and was built in 2007. It’s disheartening that the previous homeowners attempted to pass off this house to the next buyer, and equally troubling that the realtor and the inspector aided them in doing so. I previously called to complain but they sent me a form and that was it. They didn’t take our complaints by what the inspection missed. NEVER USE THIS COMPANY!!

The inspection was very thorough and explained in detail after they had finished. I feel confident moving forward with the purchase of this townhome after this inspection.

Nice to talk with the inspector about all the things I was worried about as he has a lot of expertise. There were a few things I was worried about that were normal or common, but other things I didn’t know about that were a big deal. Did a 1 year warranty inspection.

Nordic Inspections came out on time. They were friendly and efficient. They gave us a lot of great information in our report like for example, they said our roof has a manufacturing defect and we need a new roof. They let us know about unsealed cracks in our foundation as well as letting us know that we need more dirt around the house so that the water will flow away instead of towards it. They brought a lot of other things to our attention as well that we wouldn’t have known to look for. Well worth it!
