Nigro Construction, Inc

Had fire damage to my professional building and decided to use Nigro for reconstruction and repairs. Insurance was paying for the work. It was an adversarial relationship from the start. I could not work with superintendent because he never returned calls or responded to contacts. They ended up having me deal with a VP.
They made it difficult to get coverage for obvious damages from the fire. Their billing is difficult to follow and not timely.
I would not recommend this company for any construction needs.

This company (at least the staff that work at our building) has been working on the same problem for at least 5 years in a row, 2024 makes 6. It is clear they don't know what they are doing. The head guy walks around with coffee in his hand all morning, sits on his cell phone, brings his kid to work and leaves to take him to school, sits in his vehicle half the morning and is on site when NO other workers are present. They're just stalling and drawing out this project for money. When people do come here they all look like they've just come for the first time. The projects drag on and on and on. DO NOT hire this company. 6 years and we are STILL waiting for this years long work to be completed. I'm sorry but they are useless and non professional.

There were days when I thought I should rate this company with 5 stars, while there were other days, they deserved a one star. Nigro was contracted to do work in our condo after water damage occurred. The price was fair and the completed work was high quality. It's the stuff that happened in between that was frustrating. Trying to communicate with this company, or the ones we worked with, was incredibly frustrating. Phone calls were not returned and emails were not responded to for more than a week sometimes. It took multiple calls and emails to get a response, which I found to be incredibly unprofessional. Although the people were friendly and the work was quality, this is not a company I would recommend to a friend.
