Jeff and his guys did a fantastic job of painting the exterior of our house in Winchester, Virginia. The house itself is 4 different colors (house siding, some fish scale siding on a peak, trim, and concrete foundation all different). They also painted the window trim on our old aluminum windows that were looking a little pathetic, our decks, our 3 nice wooden doors (clear coat) and the deck lattice (clear coat as well). All of the additional stuff was suggested by Jeff because he felt like NOT painting those things would make the house painting less than perfect. Needless to say, our place looks the best it's looked since we bought it in 1994. Just looks fantastic. I had also just replaced a 10x12 wooden shed AFTER he gave us his estimate to paint our house. He saw the unpainted shed, gave me some advice on how to hide the seams between the sheathing boards with flat moulding, and then once I was finished with all of the detail work he said "Let me paint the shed for you". No mention of extra money for labor or paint and they did a WAY better job than I would have done. We are VERY pleased with the work they did. They spent the time to clean and prep (most of a week) and then another week to paint (with upwards of 5 guys working every day). He and his crew were professional, clean, on time, worked hard, and were just a great buch of guys across the board. We'll see how well it holds up, but if it comes anywhere close to what he told me as far as time to re-paint, I hope he or someone in his family are still around when that day comes.

Excellent is the best word to describe the service of Jeff Newlin Painting. This is the second time I've used the service and that says it all. The painting detail is just awesome and this time they did a special repair of my sheet-rock walls from a water leak. The walls look like new. They are on time, provide quality work, they clean-up after and the whole crew is friendly and very professional!!! Toni E

I called Jeff Newlin and spoke with him over the telephone about painting a barn my wife and I own in Stephenson, VA. From the very beginning I knew I was talking to someone that seemed to be honest and dependable and explained a lot of things to me about paint that I had not considered.
He is the type of man that runs his business on his reputation and a handshake. Not even meeting him prior to the job being evaluated, quoted, and then painted he didn't ask a thing from me. His biggest concern was that I was happy with his work. He was there when he was scheduled and finished when the work on time as promised. The work is beautiful. I finally met Jeff when I asked him to stop by my home to pick up payment for the work. Very well mannered, respectful, and had a personality that just made you want to have him stay to talk with. I can't give him anything but high praise for how my wife and I were treated. For any painting I need in the future I will be certainly calling Jeff to do the work. His estimate was quick and free. His fee were what I thought to be reasonable and he used dependable and professional painters who work for his company and good equipment. I would not hesitate to recommend Jeff Newlin for any painting project you have.
