I hired New Way to replace the vinyl siding on my 3-story building. While they did a good job installing the siding itself, and worked very quickly, there were a number of problems with the job. Overall, I think that they really need to examine their quality control process, or lack thereof. The issues were:
- After explicitly warning the workers of the fiber internet cable on the exterior of the building, they still carelessly snapped it, making me unable to work for days.
- The crew removed the remote water meter from the outside of my home and discarded it, requiring me to work with the utility company to replace it at my expense.
- The pole scaffolding was attached to my roof with large lag screws. The crew did not seal the holes created by the lag screws, resulting in severe water damage inside the house following rain (see video). They came out and sealed the holes after initially denying responsibility.
- Similarly, the crew did not seal the many holes in the roof created by installing the aluminum channel capping at the roof.
- The crew removed the weatherproof housing from an outdoor outlet, replaced the siding around it, and never replaced the housing, leaving live electrical equipment dangling and exposed to the weather (see photo).
- After providing an estimate and timeline for the work, they modified the price and timeline and pressured me to select a different color of siding material.
- I discovered months later that the crew never caulked the majority of the windows after capping them, resulting in additional water penetration.
- Siding was installed inside of a shaft between my building and a neighboring building, which was not in the estimate. The company used this as a negotiating tactic when determining how to deal with the issues above.
The rep I worked with (Vince) was very nice and overall a reasonable and pleasant representative of New Way, which I appreciate.
Overall, though, I would not recommend this company for siding work unless they can ensure an onsite foreman is overseeing quality control, as their team was sloppy.

This was my first time using them for my siding and for those in the market I would highly recommend them. Overall great quality in product, workmanship, and attention to details. All my request were met and the job was completed in a timely manner. Price was fair and better than other siding companies in the area! 5 stars for sure. Excellent.
