I paid over 9k upfront in cash for a new fence and door. I was told afterwards I needed to pay over $400 for a land survey which is fine but an unexpected cost. Over the course of almost a year I have received almost zero updates unless I keep asking. Months past any reasonable amount of time (even during covid) my fence and door was installed. The fence is very nice and the door is missing a kick plate I paid for. I wish I wouldn’t have paid upfront because I have felt left in the dark since they already got their money. I still don’t have my kick plate for the door and no matter how many times I ask about it I either get no response or told to wait longer. I have officially given up after so many chances to leave a good review.

I understand you can’t bypass city code, but I didn’t complain about that. I complained that I had no clue about needing a survey until after I signed a contract and paid everything. I hope everybody notices that you never own up to the idea that maybe you guys did something wrong. It’s always an attack on the customer. I should’ve be skeptical when you said I would get a discount for leaving a good review, I wonder how many of your good reviews are a product of that.

We signed a contract in June 2020. They asked for a $10,000 deposit July 3 he sent out 3 people no ladder ( to do a roof that was 75 squares large .).no warning they were coming not enough shingles were ordered 34 bundles. Need around 220 bundles Jessie refused to return our deposit.

We had a back door installed. Jesse was very polite, knowledgeable and professional. After our consultation with him we knew the quality of service would be great. The company met our expectations.

One of the things that I liked best about this company is that when I called. There was no hit this number or that number, or any type of machine at all. The owner answered the phone and came out to the house within a couple of days to give me a quote. I felt the price was very reasonable. The quality of the work and materials were second to none. They did my siding, the gutters, and 3 of the windows. I will use this company again when I have the rest of my windows replaced.

Jesse and his guys did an awesome job throughout the entire install. We were quoted a great price even as life as we know it is going through a pandemic. The quality of work, professionalism and overall genuine concern was shown throughout our privacy fence project letting us know that we got it right when we hired this company.
We will definitely hire them again for any future home improvement projects.

Just had a 6ft tall privacy fence installed looks great and the price was reasonable. I could have installed the fence myself for a little less per foot but it would not look as great and would have taken me 3 or 4 weekends to complete.

We ordered a new front door from them, it was very expensive but the quality is amazing. We are very pleased with the results and the guy that put the door in was a true craftsman.

This is a great business! I recently had gutters placed on my home and the work was completed in under an hour. Great team of craftsman and will definitely use their service in the future.

We where in desperate need of a new front door and wanted good quality for a decent price. Jesse did a great job of explaining the different products and prices and helped us customize our door for our narrow hallway space. I am very pleased with the result and and feel good knowing I purchased a great product without overpaying.

Honest. Extremely fair pricing. And professional. That’s ‘New Look’ in a nutshell. Trust me when I tell you that you really don’t need to look around too hard for a contractor after you contact these guys. If you’re getting a better price than Jesse is giving you, then you’re either rolling the dice on a shady contractor, or you’re getting a product of inferior quality.

Jesse personally came out and gave me a great overview of what they could do and how fast they could do it. I asked him to replace a patio door with a new slider. He gave me a quote that was half the price of ‘Mr R.’ I had recently been burned by choosing a contractor who bid low, tried to install a builder grade door and had horrible communication skills. Jesse and New Look were exactly the opposite. Frequent and clear communication throughout the process, installation was right on time and the installers were extremely professional all the way around. I now have a gorgeous, quality Provia slider that I love.

So do yourself a favor. Just hire this company now. You’ll get professional service and quality products without the overhead of the big guys. They’re the perfect happy medium.

We hired this contractor around April 2019 to replace the roof of our townhouse apartment. Jesse was good in selling and appreared to be a really nice guy. One of his selling points was that since he is a small company and he is the owner, we will have no problems in case of any issues with their work and he will even send us photos once work was done. This was what convinced us to hire him. All other things like roof warranty and materials are also being offered by other reliable companies that have proven track record. He was able to schedule and get the work done the same week we met. Overall, it looked fine but we saw some shingles sticking out. I called the owner to check out the issue and send us photos as he promised earlier. He said that it could take days for the roof to lay but he will come out to look at it as we wanted to make sure there's no problem. Some days later, I reached out again as I haven't heard from him and he said he had no time and will check it out next week. He promised about 3-4 times that he will come out to look at it but never did. We started getting frustrated and called him. He started saying that he cannot promise an exact day and will get to it when he can. He also said the photos are not included in the contract. We were upset with his response as what we asked for was fair and reasonable. It is our right to inspect their work and make sure they performed the work to our satisfaction per contract. As a small company, you would expect him to take care of his clients but it was the opposite as he was very rude. I mentioned that with his attitude and poor customer service, we will never use him anymore with other properties and he said "That's probably for the best." He just lost an opportunity to gain more sales for his business. A month later, I got a call from our property manager saying that our roofer did a sloppy job. There were a lot of old shingles that fell in the backyard and they did not clean up. We had to hire someone to clean it up. If you are reading his reviews because you are looking for a roofer, we would strongly recommend that you talk to other roofers that have been in the business for many years and have shown reliability. In terms of cost, his initial proposal was higher than 3 others that we got but he tried to match it just to get our business. Do your due diligence and don't fall for this guy's sales talk.

I had New Look install a fence in my backyard. Jesse & crew were phenomenal. From the consultation to the installation, they communicated well and promptly installed my fence without issue. They’re competitively priced and installed my fence within a week of my consultation. I’ll call New Look for my next home improvement project.

These guys are everything you want in a contractor. Fence was destroyed by wind a week before I had to leave for deployment. Was a little unsettling to not be at home when the job was getting done but I Came home to a beautiful solid fence. I would put 100% trust in these guys for my next project .

Jesse was great to work with. On time, knowledgeable, and made sure the project was done to our expectations. We plan on using New Look again soon for another project.

Absolutely thrilled with their work. Jesse talked with me through my options, offering his opinion and respected when I wanted to go a different route than his top choice (I wanted a very inexpensive back door, he recommended a higher quality door but understood I'm selling this home and looking to stretch my budget). Incredibly pleased with the communication I received about the project from beginning to end- timely, polite, accurate. At no point did I feel uncomfortable and will without a doubt will be using them again for the next set of projects. I referred them to my mom and am just so happy with the quality of work.

When we choose his company the product was exactly as promised and instillation was done exactly as promised. Finally the work done was exactly has promised and we have been very happy with our investment in new windows.

I have had two positive experiences with New Look Home Improvement. I had gutters and trim replaced on one house, and a the roof and skylights replaced on a rental. Both of the jobs were done on schedule. The crews were fast and efficient. The results were outstanding and the cost was lower than the quotes I received from other contractors.

This is an exceptional company. Particularly, from day one of the estimate for the replacement of our roof. The owner Jesse West, was on time which is a rarity. he walked us through the entire process step by step, from the cost of roof replacement, providing samples of material to the dates available for the installment. At this point, we were so impressed with his professionalism and knowledge of this field we decided hire him over the other competitors. His team arrived on the date agreed. All of our worries pertaining to protection of the landscaping for the work was extinguished. His team finished he job including cleanup, in a timely manner. I would highly recommend New Look Home Improvement to anyone.
