Bill was fantastic! Came out less than 24 hours after a request for information to inspect/ estimate the repair. He was also able to do a same day repair as he had everything needed to complete! Would absolutely recommend to anyone in need of roof replacement/ repair!

100% satisfaction with this company! Bill (son) came to do a roof inspection on my dad's home. He told us he'd be there at 8:30am and was right on time. My dad asked him to look at another area of the home and he came back the same day to take care of it. Very professional,polite and explained everything. So I always wait 1 year to review on really big stuff like a new roof. I want to say everything about this company is perfect and so rare. My roof started leaking 2 years ago and Bill Sr. came out and pointed out where the previous roofer had done a very hack job of install. He patched the area for free and said give me a call if it starts leaking from other areas this winter, I think you have big problems under there. Sure enough it started leaking. I booked with him and they came out in the summer and did the best job I’ve ever seen. Hand nailed, all local labor, and not a single scrap or nail found on my property after install. The entire time, Bill and his son kept me updated on other issues found under the roof from previous installs. He even color matched my trim with the new shingles and the price was right in line with other quotes I had gotten. Attached are pictures one year later and the roof looks like it was installed yesterday. Can’t thank these guys enough for the work they do! And for reference my neighbor had New England Roofing do their roof 30 years ago and it looks perfect still! Highly recommend. 10/10

Bill Cahill and his crew were excellent. They did exactly what was promised (and then some)in the time frame discussed; they left the yard clean, a lawn sign the only indication that they had been there. They were professional and obviously take pride in their work. We love our new roof.

I have an older home with a problematic chimney that was not in use and causing ongoing moisture issues in the attic. Bill came up with an easy solution to take it down and plywood and roof over the opening. Job was super efficient and area was spotless, you can’t even tell there was ever a chimney there. He is very professional- highly recommend this company.

They shingled my son's house and my own house. Bill went above and beyond to correct a ventilation problem with my son's house. Not only did he correct the problem, but he also made it look esthetically pleasing.
They also made sure anything that was moved in our yards, was put back in place and any stray nails were picked up. Before they left, our properties were meticulously cleaned up.
Bill is an "old school" kind of guy. Honest, respectful, down to earth and proud of his work. His work ethic shows though his entire crew.

I needed work done to my roof because my insurance company was giving me a rough time and I made a call to New England roofing and the same day they came out to look at it and told me my roof is still young and has life left and it’s just that one area that needs to be fixed. The pricing was more than fair and they went above and beyond for me they even did extra work for no extra charge. I would highly recommend New England roofing for any roofing job. You can get service there that you can not get anywhere else.

This morning we woke up to a leak coming through a small spot from the ceiling of one of our bedrooms. I saw New England Roofers was recommended on a local Facebook page so I called. Bill picked up right away (keep in mind it was 8am) and when I told him what was going on, he assured me he would make time to get there today and I would hear from him asap. Around noon he called me and said he was on his way. He went up and assured me my roof was good just missing a few shingles in the spot that had the leak. He said he would fix it today as long as the rain stopped. End of the story is this: my roof was fixed by 2pm. Not only did they fix the problem, they also sealed the chimney as a courtesy.

I was expecting to be sold a whole new roof today since the current one is almost 25 years old. Instead I was assured I had years left before I need to get a new one. That’s the best and most honest thing someone can do. I may not have had to replace the roof today, but I know exactly who I will call when that day comes!!

Quality. If you read nothing else from my review, that is the one take away you need to remember about New England Roofing. Bill, his son & the New England Roofing team performed flawlessly while redoing my roof earlier this month.

Back in January my wife and I decided it was time to replace our roof that was in its later stages of life. We did some Googling for roofing contractors and came across New England Roofing along with a host of others. We've never replaced a roof before, but always are hounded by salesmen roving the neighborhood looking for work. So we knew it would be a difficult task weeding through the prospective list of people to find a competent contractor.

I had Bill Cahill & his son come out to give me an estimate back in January. He was the first guy on my list of three other possible roofers to perform the work after extensive Googling, license lookups and general roofing research. I was impressed with these guys the moment I met them. No high pressure sales pitch. No overselling. Heck, Bill even told me when we finished chatting about what I needed done to "do my homework" before departing. The initial bidding on the job was professional and hassle free. I received a quote & samples of Certainteed Shingles. "We hand nail every shingle" was what stood out to me the most.

The next two quotes I got were the polar opposite from other roofing contractors. One vendor wanted to upsell me on chimney water diversions & the other couldn't be bothered to meet my request of arriving to bid the job when I was home so that we could discuss the work in person. When the first word out of a contractors mouth is "we can have this done before lunch time", it might be a good idea to find an outfit like New England Roofing.

Fast Forward to May. I reached out twice just to double check everything was good to move forward (I am a worry wort) and was happy to receive confirmation that the second week of May was indeed happening. Two days before the work was to be performed Bill let me know that due to the impending rain in the forecast they would be coming to do the work a day early. Professionalism at its finest. I figured I'd be moved two months out due to the weather.

I was told the crew would arrive around 7AM and be done around 6PM. At 6:45AM Bill was showing up in his truck with the dump trailer. By 7:05AM the crew was stripping the north side of my home. Everyone on the New England Roofing team has a job to do and performs like a well oiled machine. I popped outside around 9AM and was invited to head up on the roof (if I liked) to take a tour of how things were looking.

The expectation was a few sheets of plywood would need to be replaced. The other contractors I brought in were guessing 4 to 6 sheets of plywood. Bill showed me the two and a half sheets that needed rework and informed me that due to the age of my home (built in the 60's) I had half inch CDX and that if I wanted to maximize the longevity of this project to consider ice & water shielding the whole roof. Again, no pressure from him, but to me it was a no brainer. So I asked for their team to add the additional ice & water shield. It added little to my overall final price and having the peace of mind knowing my roof will have maximum longevity was very important to me.

I left them to it for the remainder of the day. By lunch time my north face was completely shingled. Around 5PM they were in the later stages of the south face. Bill re-flashed my chimney, replaced my secondary furnaces exhaust stack, repainted my bathroom vent pipe & extensively blew my gutters out. I should add I had asked to have Sure-Flo gutter guards added to my gutter system. They work flawlessly.

At 6PM I was invited up to inspect the final work. The roof was in perfect condition. Not a shingle out of place. Quality. Everything was installed with the upmost care. And the best part? When it was all said and done the final price was STILL lower than my other two quotes! Do yourself a favor if you need a roof. Call New England Roofing!!! - Dave

Bill and his son did a great job reroofing my home a few years ago. Reasonable price and quality work from two great guys. Bill is an extremely helpful and personable guy who also helped me with a yard project when on break from my roof.
Recently I noticed moss on my roof and both guys came by to take a look a few days after I sent them a message via their website. They suggested a roofing spray connected to my hose would take care of the problem. This would also be an inexpensive fix that I could easily do myself. Bill also cleaned my gutters at the same time all for a very small charge.

An architect referred me to Bill Cahill to replace my roof with this advice: you may have to wait, but the job will be done right, the price will be fair and reasonable, and you’ll have a quality roof for 50 years. Well, everything he said was true with the exception that his crew came within the week and not only did we not have to wait, but the large, highly organized crew literally worked from sun up to sun down. They even repaired my chimney and gutters! I had a beautiful new roof to sleep under THAT NIGHT! Everything was cleaned up when they left. It was like magic.
