He took the time to sit with me and explain everything that was needed for or new non- profit building to bring it up to code after years of disrepair. He was thorough and patient and helped us with the financing. Great job and he was done in the time frame stated even with the crazy monsoon/ Sahara weather we’ve been having. Cleaned everything up and got rid of trash.
Would definitely highly recommend and will be using him for my home as well when I need a new roof there.

The work on our home was completed in May 2025, and Shane was in constant communication throughout—keeping us informed about scheduling, materials, and arrival times. Our roof required full plywood replacement due to cracking, which he handled seamlessly. He also replaced a damaged gutter, installed new shutters, and even cleaned our gutters without being asked.

The crew completed 85% of the work on a Wednesday, and with a major rainstorm forecasted for Thursday and Friday, Shane made sure everything was protected. They returned first thing Saturday morning to finish the job, finalize all the details, and perform a thorough cleanup. The area was left neat and tidy.

Shane stands behind both his workmanship and the quality of materials used. Of all the quotes I received, he was the most reasonable—without compromising quality. They stripped two layers of old shingles off my house and garage. There was a lot of rotted wood decking that need to be replaced but that didn’t slow the workers down.

We have called Franklin Roofing to replace our garage roof, which was in poor condition and leaking into the garage itself. Our roof and skylights took a long time because the insurance company was miserable to work with, Shane was patient, knowledgeable and willing to work with me throughout the whole process. When I tell you Franklin Roofing saved my butt, I'm not kidding! I work in real estate and was in the area flying a drone at a listing shoot. Unfortunately I miscalculated and ended up crashing onto the roof. Too high for me to climb and starting to get later on the day I attempted to reach out to a few places that might be able to lend a hand. 3/27/25 Franklin Roofing was well recommended by a good friend of mine. And he did not disappoint. Shingled my house, my detached garage and a flat roof and did an awesome job all done in 2 days. Even replaced nine sheets of plywood which shows me that he pays attention to detail. He's also extremely accommodating and did anything I asked or suggested. And very reasonably priced, beating other quotes. After the cleanup, it's like they weren't even there. I would recommend Franklin Roofing to anyone.

Franklin Roofing was cleaning a neighbor's roof and asked if he could inspect mine. I have a lot of lichen an on my skylights and a bit on shingles. He came over right away and identified a number of issues that I otherwise would have not known and provided pictures. I had exposed nails that the previous roofer didn't caulk, some rotted boards, and flashing that was chewed off my chimney. Needless to say he addressed everything and even cleaned my gutters without charging me more than his initial quote. Shane is so personable and very knowledgeable. Franklin Roofing did an AMAZING job on our roof and chimney! Since it’s a hundred year old building, there were some unexpected issues that popped up once the roof was stripped but Shane was always on top of it by keeping us informed of what they found and the cost associated with fixing it. I’m AMAZED by the job they did fixing up and supporting the chimney section in the attic as well as completely rebuilding the upper portion. I am extremely impressed with how the roof turned out and would highly recommend Franklin Roofing to anyone!!

Had my roof re-done about a month ago. Amazing work done by all with Franklin roofing. Shane is a straight forward, stand up guy and will not let you down. I couldn’t be happier with the professionalism, promptness and quality of work done with my roof. We had a tight deadline and a decent size roof. Shane and the crew were able to get it done in two days. Very happy customer. I would recommend Franklin Roofing to everyone!

Shane and his men were the absolute best workers I have had at my home in 31 years! Their work was phenomenal. Shane has knowledge and experience above and beyond any other roofer we talked with. My two story house has an upper pitched roof and in the back we have a smaller flat roof. Plus we have a small alcove off the front door with a roof while the bay style window has a small pitched roof over the window as well. They went to work setting up tarps before stripping the many layers of shingles and ran into many rotted pieces of wood. They laid the plywood all around and now my roof is reinforced properly. They place new flashing around the chimney to prevent leaks. In fact, the flat roof needed rebuilding because of the rotted fascia all the way around the frame of it. Even the sheathing was rotted, so they built that up with new wood. We did a rubberized roof on the flat one after laying brand new sheets of plywood on flat roof. They used the real plywood on the whole house and not the particle board type. This way I now have a roof that is nice and tight. They use 2 courses of ice and water barrier with a premium underlayment as well. My shingles that I picked were a beautiful color (Weathered Wood) and quite thick compared to other shingles I have seen. Plus, They didn't look like everyone else's bland color in the neighborhood. Next they went on to my 3 car garage which is not attached to the house. There was some rotted wood in the back of garage just under the rood that need replacing. Shane came up with a brilliant idea for hanging a white metal trim over the exposed boards that we had to paint for years and now we won't have to paint during my life time. It was such a creative way to make the garage look brand new. The shingles were laid on the garage in the same fashion as the house and look beautiful. They hook up gutters and drain pipes at the end of the shingling and go around rechecking all of their work. They makes sure they clean all of the way around the house. Throughout the entire process, I never felt as though there was any pressure from them. I would never hire anyone except Franklin Roofing Company as long as I live. I really love these guys and my husband and I could not be happier! Truly a wonderful experience for my husband and myself!

Had to call them for an emergency in my bathroom ceiling leaking through my air vent on my roof. Called and left a message, got a call back within 2hrs. They came out, looked at the leak and determined the issue but also noted that my chimney was in bad shape. They didn’t push me to get it fixed but did offer me two quotes with chimney work optional. Very respectful and educating. I scheduled the work to be done and they were very clean and quick. Their work came with a great warranty period and at a good value. I had to call them back after to look at my chimney cap with the heavy rain we got and again got a call back right away and they came out to check it. They determined the issue and fixed it swiftly yet again once the part was ordered. Super happy with their work, response time, cost, warranty, and customer service.

Very satisfied with the work Franklin Roofing did. I put in an online request for a quote, got a call within a couple hours and someone came out the same day to look at our home. Based on the other quotes we got for a replacement roof they are fairly priced.

Fantastic roofers and fantastic people. I had a few leaks all on the same half of my roof after a few storms and snow fall. I was hoping I just needed repair on that half of the house but every company I called for quotes told me I needed a full new roof and that was it. When I called Franklin Roofing there were the first and only to give me options for either the repair I had in mind as well as what they recommended based on what they saw with plenty of evidence to back it up. I did end up needing a full roof as well as a chimney repointing and Franklin roofing was able to handle every aspect! The before and after pictures are amazing to look at. Julia is great. She fixed the leak in my roof “temporarily”, I think her patch would’ve held indefinitely, and for FREE! Julia provided pics of everything before and after so I know everything is legit. Franklin wasn’t the cheapest but my experience with Julia was so good that there was no chance I was going to go with someone else.

I called about a leak around my chimney flashing. Sean was very professional and returned my call early the next morning. He came the same day and spent a lot of time inspecting the roof. He took plenty of pictures and identified a few more concerns, Including a leaky electrical service boot, and an old improperly-installed sky light.

There was some masonry work that needed to be done on the chimney and I'm happy these guys could take care of it so I didn't need to hire another crew.

It was a pleasure doing business with Franklin roofing. The crew gave me notice, then showed up on time. They completed the job. And the coolest part was that I got to see pictures of the job in progress, on the photo portal.

Franklin Roofing was exceptional from beginning to end. Shane (the owner) was easy to communicate with throughout the entire process. After requesting from him a quote for a new roof on our recently purchased house, he came to the house and actually told us that our roof, while getting fairly old, had a couple of years left in it and that he didn’t feel that we needed to replace it right away. His inspection of everything was thorough—he got on the roof, took multiple pictures, and got into the attic to see things from the inside. For various reasons we decided to replace the roof anyway (and get our chimney repointed, which was definitely needed). His pricing was reasonable and below quotes we got from a couple of other companies, and he was actually using superior shingles to what we had quoted from the other companies. Everything went smoothly on the day of installation and Shane went above and beyond to be informative and transparent about everything throughout the entire process. The clean up was extremely thorough with a dedicated eye for detail (I mowed the lawn a few days later and did not find a single nail or piece of debris in my yard). I was particularly impressed with how Shane respectfully and nicely communicated with and treated the other people working on his team. In sum, he will absolutely not try to sell you anything you don’t need, his pricing is reasonable, and the quality of his and his team’s work is of the highest order. Within two days of my roof being done, my neighbor across the street was already telling me about his plans to call Franklin Roofing to get his done without even shopping around.

High-quality work! This is the first roof I have had installed and the experience went very smoothly with Shane. He identified a vent leak in my attic, recommended shingle colors that would look good with my house, answered a number of questions for me, and clearly explained the process for roof installation (and gutter guards) and pricing (which was very reasonable). He also sent a link showing other shingle color options, and that website allows you to superimpose the shingles onto a photo of your house. He was easy to communicate with via phone/email. Shane also provided updates and photos throughout the day during the roof installation while I was at work. He and his crew were thorough with their clean up as well. I might have a leak around my storm collar for my flue pipe and Shane came out and took care of it, and inspected my skylight and caulked the sky lite too. If you need a roof, you need Franklin Roofing!!! The saga surrounding my experience as a homeowner has been somewhat disappointing, but this company has redeemed my faith in humanity. Julia has been my contact person since March when I first reached out about a new water spot on my living room ceiling. She took care of that problem - a nail had rusted and dislodged. Then in August, the kitchen ceiling started dripping during a rain storm. I reached out, and Julia came by again to do the necessary patching, but upon further investigation discovered that the previous roof installer for the previous owner had not used the correct nails and other important materials. So the entire roof was in need of replacement. Additionally, the company that did my new siding, windows, doors four years ago further left the house vulnerable by simply slapping random metal bits up over rotted wood (which I did not catch, because I generally assume that people are doing their job correctly. So since I was not here, supervising the work for every minute of that job, I took for granted that they would do what needed to be done in order to make my house safe and sound. I am always willing to pay for the work that I have done. I never ask for anything for free. So the fact that the previous worker did not just let me know about the damage, and simply covered it up, tells me an awful lot about their character and the quality of their work and knowledge.) Anyway, back to the awesome work done by Franklin roofing. I was kept informed about all the steps in this process from the very beginning right up until the very end, including photos sent from the job site throughout the day. A total of 85 photos that showed the progress on my home. The workers were respectful of my property; the cleanup that they did of my yard was meticulous. 
 Other necessary work included re-pointing the chimney. You can see from the before, and after photos, that my chimney no longer looks like a kindergarten art project. Junior, the foreman and mason on their crew, made my chimney safe and sound. And also some thing that I don’t have to be embarrassed about anymore. The gutters that were on my house had also been installed by the same company that did my siding. On one of her visits, Julia informed me that the gutters should not bend when a ladder is put up against them and that they had been installed poorly. When I asked for a recommendation, she let me know that Franklin also handles gutters. There were so many errors and omissions made by the previous contractor. It was causing a lot of unnecessary water damage to my home. The Franklin roofing crew installed brand new seamless gutters. They even reinstalled my rain barrel setup on one of the downspouts that was replaced!!!

Because of the exceptional quality of the work that Franklin Roofing has done, it is unlikely that I will need to hire them again for more work on this house in the future. So the best I can do is to tell everyone I know that if they need roof work done, they can absolutely put their faith and trust in the hands of Franklin Roofing.

Shane repaired a leaky vent pipe boot and repaired other areas of the roof where he found holes in the shingles that we were not aware of. Shane took pictures of these problem areas and shared before and after images. Shane takes the time to answer all questions and to explain how repairs will be made. Shane is an honest, experienced professional and we highly recommend him!

Shane’s crew were courteous, quick, and very up front. When issues came up, he was direct and provided solutions without beating around the bush. And their cleanup was great. Roof and skylight installation look great.

I've used Franklin Roofing twice. Once to repair damaged roof shingles and again to repair a piece of aluminum molding that was torn off in a wind storm. I was 100% satisfied. I dont usually write reviews but the service was such that I had to share this. Shane was overly helpful in both circumstances. He and his crew showed up when they said and did what they said. Great service!! Shane goes above and beyond for his clients. He was always available for questions and concerns before and after the work was completed. A great feature of his service included a timeline via photos of the whole project. I was away while the work was completed, so this was greatly appreciated. I highly recommend this company for anyone needing roof work!

We purchased a house about 10 years ago, with a new roof on it. Unfortunately it failed already and Shane was able to point out why. We chose him for our complete tear off and total roof replacement. He was prompt, responsive, and professional. We’d recommend him and also use him again, if it was ever needed!

Franklin Roofing did an exceptional job removing the old roof shingles (2 layers) an installing new roof. They were responsive, timely and the work was done quickly and neatly with no issues at all. I had the best experience working with Julia. She was honest, reliable and patient. She took the time to explain not only what needed to be done but why and how she would fix my roof. I had estimates from at least 5 major roofing companies and she was the best! Highly recommend working with Julia!
I had a long standing roof leaf from a skylight. She removed the skylight, and installed a rubber roof. She also worked with me to match the shingles that were visible from below. I’m very pleased!

All I can say is to read the previous reviews, because they say it all. Shane and his crew ARE THE BEST! He is true to his word, does excellent work, is very efficient and there is no one out there that I would hire to do our roof, but Shane.
