Nevada Commercial Coatings

BUYER BEWARE - TLDR; Mark the owner of this company has a massive temper control issues, does sub par work designed only to barely outlast the warranty, and is hard to contact/ uncommunicative about basic information like cost or warranty.

After we bought our house the coating on two stair treds began to peel after just over 1 year, this initial coating was done by Nevada Commercial Coatings. We tried to contact them for repairs but due to the very short warranty they told us we were not covered and due to small scope it would be a multiple month wait for inspection.

After difficulties finding another company to perform the work I reached back out and was able to schedule a site walk with a shorter turnaround time. The site walk was completed and I was told he would follow up with next steps.

2 days later one of his workers arrived and began tearing apart the steps without any discussion with me. No quote had been given and no work approved. After multiple calls I was able to get through and given a cost that was "low" because he was "doing me a favor" despite his company incorrectly doing the coating in the first place. When I questioned what the warranty on the repairs would look like he said he would "take care of us" despite not doing so when an official warranty had been issued.

At this point Mark completely lost his temper, screaming over the phone and threatening to come to my property. His worker abandoned the job and left my stairs in a noticeably worse state.
