We are very happy with the service we received from Mills Roofing. Our roof inspector, Pete Candelaria, explained the process in detail and showed us the pictures he took of our roof so we could see exactly what was going to be done. The work was done by two very knowledgeable workers and after completing the job we got photos of the finished job.

This is our second time using Mills roofing and their roofmax product. They are a great company with timely response and quality work. Thank you to Daniel and team for getting the project done timely and keeping us updated throughout the process.

The crew that showed up this morning were also friendly and again explained the process to us. They finished and cleaned up the wet areas. They even made sure no roof product was left in puddles. They didn't want our dogs to get sick. They also covered the the Mustang. Didn't want to get anything on it. So..... we're happy. Thanks Roof Max.

The 2 technicians were very friendly and knowledgeable about the product. They sealed all the vent pipes and tubes on the roof then applied the roofing softening and sealing agent. Afterwards they did their cleanup of the area.

The entire process was a great experience. From the free quote to the scheduling of the work needing to be done was great. The matching of the roofing is perfect. The roof maxing job was completed the same day new singles needed replacing was done. Workers communicated well.

We just had our metal roof tuned up by Mills Roofing. We have been using Mills Roofing for many years. Their work is always thorough, professional and reasonably priced.

Received a phone call from Daniel that he was on his way around 9:30. They arrived on time. Explained what they were going to do and continued on with the work. At the end they came in and explained things some more, received the check and left Daniel and his associate worker were very polite and professional. No fuss, No muss. The way I like it.

Isaac, Manny and Eddie repaired part of my roof and also Roof Maxx'd the rest of the roof. They did a great job cleaning up and finished much sooner than I would have thought. Great guys!

Mills staff were excellent. they sat down and spent some time explained everything they were gonna do in a timely fashion took videos showed me everything that needed to be done. Stayed in touch and I had a phone number to reach if I had questions was able to set up my own financing and what I wanted to pay Through them. they had a material company that I was able to go through pick the color that I wanted for my roof. The job was completed in less than three days.and everything was well organized kept clean and done in a timely fashion. Once completed I received a full set of videos of all the work done from start to finish.
I would definitely recommend these guys to anyone interested in putting a new roof on your house. We’re very pleased with with the results and some of my neighbors have text me to tell me how great the roof looks

Mills Roofing has been my “go to” whenever I have roof issues since my house was built back in the late 80’s. Their level of professionalism keeps exceeding my expections, passed down from father to son. My recent roof “tune-up” was painless and I was “kept in the loop” on every step of the process. I strongly urge anyone to use them for all roofing needs!

This is the second time I have hired Mills Roofing to do work at my property. They have been easy to communicate with. I really appreciate the photos they send detailing what work needs to be done. I know I can’t get up on the roof to see these details. Better, they send a second set of photos detailing the work they did and the finished product.
I would definitely have them out to do work for me again in the future should the need arise.

I recently needed to find a reputable roofing contractor while in contract to buy a house. I knew the roof needed work but wanted to know exactly what needed to be done in order to negotiate credits back prior to closing. I called a couple roofers who stated they were too busy and 3 days notice was not enough time. I reached out to Mills roofing at 5:15 p.m. on a Friday and Jeremy Mills, the owner of the company answered his phone! I explained what I was up against, he said all his inspectors were busy, but he would be happy to help me out. 2 days later he showed up to the site early, asked if I wanted to walk the roof with him, showed me everything that required repairs and what he would do if it were his house. He was very professional, made me feel like I was family, took photos and videos that he emailed me later that afternoon with a full roof inspection report and quote with itemized options. Once we close escrow, Jeremy Mills will be one of the first people I call! Thanks Jeremy!

2 stars only because they finally did call me and offer an inspection for a repair I am looking at. Short story is I sent 2 online inquiries on their website and left 2 separate messages via phone in a 2 week period and finally, 4 days after the most recent message, they called. To schedule, they require a $49 fee simply to give me a quote… totally ridiculous and interferes with getting second or third quotes to re roof my home. Overall, poor communication and poor business practices in my option (as a business owner).

Excellent work and communication throughout the entire process. Every single person I interacted with was over and beyond helpful and professional. They were all prompt, and the work was excellent. We just finished our inspection and everyone is happy. I highly recommend this company!

I need some shingles repair on my roof due to the wind damage. I have a older roof. And Mills roofing was able to come out and fix my shingles and good cost for what I needed. Highly recommend them. I will be definitely using them in the future!

We called after seeing their ad on TV. They inspected our roofs (house and RV barn), took pictures, showed us the pictures, explained their condition and how Roof Max works. They were professional and not pushy at all They answered all questions. They made sure that the weather was good to do the application and kept us informed. Daniel and Joe cleaned all branches and debris from the roof (after a heavy wind storm) and checked in case there was any damage. They were professional and knowledgeable and easy to work with. I would highly recommend Mills Roofing for Roof Max application.

In early December of 2024, I contacted Mills Roofing to have our roof inspected due to a damaged tile that was noticeable from the ground level. Bryan from Mills came out within a day or two of the inspection request, took pictures of the damaged tiles and provided an estimate.

The next day, I contacted Bryan notifying him that we would accept Mills Roofing bid. He then thanked me and reiterated from our initial conversation that they were booked out till the first of the year but due to size of the job, it could probably be completed this year but no guarantees.

Within a couple of days, Mills contacted me informing me that they could come out and complete the project. I accepted their schedule and the crew arrived on time and completed the project within the parameters of what they said they could do. The crew also took pictures of the repaired tiles.

The entire staff from Bryan, Kinsey, production scheduler, Dawn from accounting and Angel and his associate that repaired the tiles were all professional, executed what they said they could do.

I’ve dealt with numerous contractors since moving to the Reno/Sparks area in 1994 both in my private and professional life also in the Reno area and Mills Roofing deserves an A+ rating. Mills' service from the beginning to the end through every contact was seamless and excellent. Mills far exceeded my expectations. I would heartily recommend their service and should I encounter another roofing issue or need their assistance again, they will be the first roofer that I call.

Excellent experience! Office staff, crew and owner were very professional and knowledgeable. Job was done quickly. Clean up was done just as quicky. Icing on the cake is that I respected and liked everyone at Mills Roofing. Daniel and Noah were great at explaing the process of the application. All my questions were answered clearly. I've had a leak in my roof over my family room. My roof is about 30 years old. I received estimates from several companies for the roof replacement.. Both of their estimates were in the thirty thousand dollar range utilizing satellite photos. I saw Mills ad on TV. Called them and Wally came to the house, went up on the roof and took numerous pictures. He then met with me and absolutely astonished me with his findings. He said I didn't need a new roof. Only needed to have the repair of the roof over my family room..He went over what was need to fix the roof and the cost. WOW! what a savings. We then discussed Roof Max Treatment to extend the life of the roof. I had that done too. Everyone with this company was fantastic. Work was done in a reasonable time at a very reasonable cost. About 1/3 of the other estimates. The workers were super. I highly recommend Mills Roofing.

I found a thoroughly professional roofing company. I arranged to get a quote from Mills Roofing for what I thought would be a quick job. The wind damage was a little worse than what the view from the ground revealed, and a second hidden and worse spot was found. Mills provided a comprehensive inspection of the roof and provided pictures to display their findings. Their technicians were on the job within a week of the contract. The two person crew worked about 4 hours to repair my roof. The took all the debris with them. I appreciate the excellent work, and the positive attitude of the team. The totally unexpected part was their inspector called the next day to inspect the job and workmanship, WOW

Estimator arrived exactly on time and after a complete evaluation gave a thorough explanation of areas in need of repair at a reasonable cost. The repair crew also arrived on time and were efficient, friendly and prompt. We are very satisfied and will refer to friends and family.

The experience was great, we set up a time to have the roof looked at. They took pictures and sent me a detailed bid for the repairs I needed done. I approved, they showed up, did the work and emailed me the invoice. It was a very easy process and they did fantastic work. Bryan Thayer came to our house for the free inspection right on time, was thorough and took pictures for us to see what he saw on our 23 year-old roof. He kindly and professionally answered all our questions. The technicians were friendly and prompt. They explained what they would do, moved our yard furniture away from the spray to come, completed the repairs to the vents, and sprayed the roof in two hours. They stayed until all the drips had come off the roof, then hosed everything down, moved the furniture back, leaving not a trace of their presence...except in the pictures they took of the completed work which Bryan shared in an email later that day. Our roof is safe again, and the customer services provided were definitely 5-Star-worthy.

Initially I heard about a product called Roof Maxx and did some research on the product. While the jury is still out as the product is still "new" on the market, I felt that if it gets five more years on my roofing, I would prefer putting out 25% of the cost of a new roof as I am not sure I will be here longer than 5 years. Mills Roofing is the company in Sparks/Reno area that sells the product. The company is newer to the area but the reviews on Mills were really great. I emailed that company over a weekend and received a call back on that Monday. Russell came out to give me an estimate after accessing my current roof. My roof is almost 20 years old with no damage or loose shingles. The only repairs were around the cut-ins to insure no leaking from that area. Russell showed me that pictures of these areas and I do have to agree that they did need some repairs. The actual work was done within days. All my encounters with the employees have been extremely positive, on-time, do what said they do showing me pictures along the way and cleaned up wonderfully. Thank you for a great experience!

We had Mills roofing come and give us an estimate for there Roof Max spray on service. Russell was very easy to work with.
After looking at the roof he explained that we had very little work to repair, mostly recalking vents and installing new boots on others. He also explained what the Roof Max did to rejuvenate my roof.
The two men that showed up to do the actual work showed up on time, were very polite and seemed to know exactly what they were doing. They called before they came as we were told they would.
All in all we are very satisfied with Mills Roofing.

1 star. I wanted 2 roof vents installed, Mills Roofing said they do not roof vent installs. They did give a number for a contractor who did, however I did not get a call back. So, unless you want a new roof, DO NOT call Mills Roofing. Probably over priced since they are picky about what roofing they do.

We just had bought our first house and knew our roof needed some TLC. I reached out to Mills for an appraisal of getting the roof Maxx treatment. Unfortunately we were not able to get the treatment done as we found the roof was leaking and needed a complete replacement. We used Mills Roofing for a Roof Maxx application to extend the lifetime of our 17- year old asphalt roof. From initial inspection & estimate to application of the soy-based product was under a week. Everyone at Mills Roofing was very professional and on time. It's not the cheapest product, but it comes with a 5-year warranty, and much cheaper than installing a whole new roof soon! Great to have a product available to help keep our roof in good shape for years to come.

At first, we an issue with coordination and scheduling but they worked it out.
The Work Crew was very professional and tidy, the attic solar fan made a tremendous difference bringing down the temperature also. I would like to highly commend the General Manager J. Mills, his handling of our contract was highly ethical and customer service satisfying. For our compensation, he gave us an over-reasonable, over-the-top discount.
I highly recommend others to get this done. It's cheaper then a new roof, plus it's safer for me when I have to get up on the roof before each Halloween and Christmas holiday for years to come.
