Mountain Vista Roofing just replaced our electrical panel with a Span smart panel, one of the best upgrades to our house. Our house is an older home from the 70's and Aaron and his team were efficient and diligent getting this upgrade done. This was not an easy project, and we are so happy with the end result. Love that we can see our energy usage and control our breakers from an app on our phone.

These guys are outstanding! Our job included the installation of a Span electrical panel. They went the extra mile to complete the upgrade. The smart monitoring features of the Span panel are amazing. Highly recommended!

They came out and looked over the roof. Then they gave me a very detailed quote. I like the fact they quoted me a good shingle, better shingle and best shingle price. I like the shingle manufacturer they work with. I choose the best for future peace of mind. Price difference was minimal for what warranty I got with the product. The crew came out on time and were very efficient. They worked hard and finished in one day. The new roof looks great and they did a very good job cleaning up. Very professional company and would recommend. I got several companies to quote me on my roof and all were very close to each other. Always pick a company with a Nevada contractor license.

I had bought a home this last year, that had some pretty old skylights (30 years old) that had started leaking really bad as soon as the wet weather hit.. I called Mountain Vista for a quote, Jeff had come out to give the quote. He was super friendly, and informative. I had a quote by the next day, which ended up being a lot more reasonable than I was expecting. They were able to get out here, and get my skylights replaced relatively quick as well, which was amazing!
I also spoke with Ariel on the phone a few times, when I had any questions, she was incredibly nice, and answered any questions I had.
This whole experience was very pleasant. The work was done quick, and beautifully.

Mountain Vista Roof Systems is absolutely amazing!! We had a solar system installed. The installer filed bankruptcy and went out of business. We went three months without electricity, water, and heat fit three months. Franklin WH (manufacturer of our inverter and two solar batteries) would allow only Franklin certified installers to diagnose the problems.Victor Wei sent us a total of ten installers. The first nine all excuse: it was too far to go, didn't speak English, they didn't work on other installers problems. On the tenth, Jonathan Fitzgerald answered. I explained the situation. He checked with the office to find out when they could send a team down to Ely. It was such a wonderful feeling to have someone who cared! Jonathan was down in about a week to correct the problems and noted that a generator module was missing. Aaron ordered the module and Jonathan installed it. After the work was completed, the solar system is working perfectly! We would whole-heartedly recommend Mountain Vista Roofing to anyone who considering installing a solar system.

A few months ago, we experienced extreme wind events that caused significant damage to our fence and sections of our roof. After reaching out to several roofing companies for bids, we received five quotes. Surprisingly, all but two companies recommended a total roof replacement, even though only a small section of our roof had failed, and it was just past the halfway point of its manufacturer's stated lifespan.

Fortunately, we discovered Mountain Vista Roof Systems. They not only provided a prompt bid but were the only contractor to ask why only that section of the roof had failed. It turned out that a heater exhaust vent directly under our eave had caused the damage over time due to the heat and humidity it expelled. This attention to detail and understanding of the root cause sold us on Mountain Vista Roof Systems immediately. Additionally, they offered the most competitive bid.

Upon accepting their bid, Mountain Vista Roof Systems sent a crew to repair the damaged section of our roof and some missing tiles on our shed. The repair work was top-notch! They replaced all damaged sections and went the extra mile by screwing down all the flashings of the roof vents in that area, which had previously been nailed.

Pricing was a bit more expensive than the other companies we got quotes from, but the quick service was unbeatable and the quality of their work and supplies was worth every penny!

The project only took two days. All the men working were kind and efficient. Alex was our main point of contact and he is very knowledgeable. Mountain Vista roof systems did an excellent job in re-roofing our 2 story, very steep roof. All the workmen were polite and sometimes sang while on the roof. Pretty good voices too. They stripped our old roof, cleaned up all the material and hauled it off. They worked every day (except when it snowed) until the job was complete. Our area is clean. They even rescreened a window screen when some debris made a small hole. That was also a professional job!

My experience with this company has been so extremely positive in every single way since the very first phone call, that I will be recommending them to every single friend and acquaintance who needs a new roof, gutters, drywall repairs, or solar.

First of all, there is no "hard sell." You call them, you schedule someone to come out and take a look, they give you a quote. Zero pressure, zero sales tactics: just a fair price for quality services and workmanship and you can take your time to decide. I ended up getting a new roof with integrated solar shingles, new gutters with leaf guard, and drywall repairs for less than half the price that another company had quoted me for less.

Secondly, all of the workers are very kind, professional, responsive to communications, and excellent at their jobs. It is clear that they were all handpicked to embody the high vision of the company by its founder and owner, Aaron Galloway, who is as noble a human being as one could ever hope to meet. I am a HUGELY INEXPERIENCED first-time homeowner and I was afraid that this process would overwhelm me, especially in the midst of my busy life. Aaron, Jonathan, Alex, and Arielle held my hand throughout the whole process. Respectively, they made special trips out to talk with me; dealt with all the HOA paperwork, approvals, engineering plans and such for the solar without me having to really lift a finger; itemized the bill in just the way I needed for my federal clean energy tax credits... everything.

Thirdly, the quality of the work and materials is excellent. I am only the third person in the entire state of Nevada to have had this new GAF solar shingle technology installed in my home. The first person was Mr. Aaron Galloway himself, who chose to experiment on his own home so that he could vouch for the product before selling or installing it for any of his customers. The installation of the inverter for the solar system required the removal of some drywall from my beautifully-finished garage. I did not truly believe what they said that they would repair it to where I wouldn't even be able to tell afterwards... but it was actually true. I walk out into my garage now and I could not tell you where the chunks were removed and then replaced. There isn't even so much as a border where you can tell that the new parts were painted over. The wall is as smooth and evenly-colored as when I bought the home.

But I have to say that where Aaron Galloway and his company most impressed me was in how they made things right that were not up to their own customer service standards. There was a mix-up with some paperwork that NV Energy needed, so it took longer for my system to get integrated to the grid and for me to start reaping the savings. They took care of dealing with NV Energy without stressing me out about it and then Aaron asked me to send the office my energy bills for the last three months, which the company reimbursed me for in their entirety via a mailed check. When I saw the check and realized that they were covering costs beyond just electricity, I asked him to send me a new check for the lesser amount, but he insisted that I accept the check as it was. Not only that, but if the mix-up was on their end, he never threw anyone under the bus or did anything other than stoically accept the responsibility of the company as a whole to make ME whole again. That is a level of almost storybook decency I rarely encounter.

When NV Energy finally completed its inspection and everything was set to go, Aaron himself came out to turn everything on and teach me how it works, even though he could have just called me or sent somebody else. He had to order an antenna because my Wi-Fi signal wasn’t reaching the apparatus and he insisted on not charging me a dime for it.

I am very grateful to the friends who recommended Mountain Vista Roof Systems to me and very happy to have met the likes of Aaron Galloway and his crew of quality employees. I put my trust in them – in him – and it was not betrayed. Five stars. All the way.

First, I should have written this a few weeks ago. However Autumn is a gardeners busy time, so I’m making up for it now. There are only a few roofers in the Reno/Sparks area who are licensed to replace the roof on a manufactured home, which I live in. Within a day of my first call Aaron and an associate came to give me an estimate. They went out of their way to help me with financing a Solar Roof. This was an important part of the negotiation because it provides power, making my payment to Nv Energy substantially less. It also increases the value of my home. When the workers arrived they introduced themselves and informed me that the process is noisy, but nothing to worry about. They worked up there during the hottest part of Summer taking the old roof off. They couldn’t have been more polite. I was unaware how many specialty employees it required to replace a roof as I’d never needed one before. My only requirement was that it be done before Winter, and it’s been completed for a month, including a few inspections. The Manufactured Housing Division being just one. Also a new electrical meter has to be installed by Nv. Energy etc. Aaron took care of all of the many moving parts personally. He came and tutored me on how to set up and use my portal into checking the power being generated. Along with the new roof I ordered new gutters, which are aluminum and look great, & since it has rained since they are watertight and drain perfectly. The roof, the Solar Panels, the battery in my garage, the gutters and everything concerning the roof was taken care of with the utmost professionalism and personal care. I couldn’t have chosen a better company, or a more dedicated, conscientious group of professionals to do the series of installations required for this huge project. The price was fair and I would recommend Mountain Vista to anyone, whether repair or replacement is needed. Thank you to Aaron and Arielle along with every other professional I came into contact with.

Needed a new roof on my new house and Mountain Vista Roofing did a fantastic job. From choosing the type of shingle to choosing the color, they provided all the information I requested to make good decisions (I tend to second guess myself a lot). The roofing crew did the job in 1.5 days: removed old shingles, repaired plywood boards, and installed the new shingles. Mountain Vista roof systems just completed my new roof replacement. The team was professional and very fast. They arrived at 7:30 am and left after 6pm. The tear off and about a third of the roof was completed the first day and they were done the second day. Everything was cleaned up and back to normal. They did a great job.

It started with the quick scheduling of the roof inspection by Aaron who was very professional and knowledgable. Aaron explained the whole process and answered all my question and concerns. After the roof inspection, the estimate came in quick from their office so I could make my decision quickly. Once I accepted their estimate, Aaron was able to schedule my roof replacement very quickly (about a week and a half) and kept me informed throughout the process. On the day of the roof replacement, Jorge and his awesome team made quick work of replacing my roof. They were incredible to watch, as they were so efficient and skilled at their craft. TL;DR Poor communication when it comes to delivery. Poor decorum when you bring up the issues that they have. They have poor work quality and when that is pointed out they do the bare minimum to fix the issue. They are trying to pack as many roofing jobs into a day as possible so minor issues get overlooked in an effort to increase job quantities while job quality suffers over all. Will never use again.

The teams they have doing the work are timely but do questionable work and I suggest double checking everything them do. The office is a little questionable. I work nights and told them via email I would be dropping a check off in the morning. The person that was supposed to be there went on vacation and her replacement was an hour late. They did email me to tell me they would be late. After I made the drive from fernley to drop off $12,000. The original girl that works in the office Arielle Thompson did eventually reach out and apologize and we got that payment settled. Only for her to email me later and call me by the wrong name. Not my cup of tea as a customer personally but I guess that’s because I was raised with older values

8/24/34- Coming back to edit this review that I posted due to the company calling me in the middle of the day while I was sleeping for work to ask me about my review. As they stated I was late with some of my payments. Because I was working with my insurance company and needed them to send me checks and email me such. I told you and everyone in the office this at every turn. No one said it was an issue. Matter of fact some people joked about how long and hard it is to work with insurance. I think it’s also really weird that a Sunder Energy rep immediately ignored my no solicitation signs while your crew was installing my roof and just so happen tell me he knows the company and works with your company and tried to sell me solar. Then after I mentioned the no solicitation sign he said he didn’t see it and then came back at a later date to try again(I have it all on camera). Finally after seeing how gracefully you took the valid criticism of your office people I went back and double checked your work and found flashing not screwed down properly that will allow water to ingress into my garage and has a gap big enough that I can see the light from the street when I take my garbage out.

12/21/24- final addition. They came out and glued down the bent flashing and added more screws then told me that was the best they could do and that my garage was improperly built. I sent emails with photos to GAF directly and was told that GAF will no longer honor the factory warranty so now my $16,000 dollar roof doesn’t have the factory warranty because the installer wants to shoe horn as many roofing jobs into one days as they can with very poor quality work. Do not recommend.

We are very pleased with our new roof. The crew worked hard and efficiently.The new shingles look great. The crew that removed our solar panels, were very efficient. Ryan put all the panels back up himself very efficiently. Jonathan did the electrical and got it all turned back on. The whole crew were very polite and we couldn't be happier with the project.

Alex, the project manager, was prompt, efficient and totally professional. The crew cleaned up after each day’s work and were always helpful and accommodating to our requests. Price was very reasonable especially with the warranty that comes with their product. Highly recommend Mountain Vista Roofing company, you won’t be disappointed.

Our roof was 23 years old and was starting to show its age. Winds had blown several of our shingles up which required repair and we realized it was time to replace our roof. Roof replacement is not cheap so we contacted several roofers to get quotes and review their work. Fortunately for us Mountain Vista Roof Systems (MVRS) had roofed a neighbor just down the street from us and we were able to watch the work they did.
We chose Mountain Vista based on the work we saw and the GAF warranty they offered. The other roofers we had quotes from also used GAF roof shingles but did not use the other GAF products that would qualify for the GAF Golden Pledge Warranty.
We went down to their offices to look at the various color of shingles that they could provide and were able to take a sample of the color we chose to take home and view for a couple of days. At all times every employee at MVRS was professional, helpful and courteous.
After we got our HOA approval they pulled the permits and Alex called me with the date they had scheduled to do our work. They showed up on the day we were told and started to remove our existing roof.
They placed tarps all around our house and bushes that might have debris fall on. They had all our old roof removed on the first day and the roof shingles showed up that afternoon and were loaded onto the roof. We checked to make sure the roof color we picked (birchwood) was what was delivered and it was. Before they left they had removed all the tarps and debris and made sure our yard was cleaned up.
The next day they started on installing the new roof. They made quick work of it and the new roof was installed and done around 3:00 PM. They again cleaned up our yard of all the scrap and packaging materials and it was left as clean as it was when they started.
I highly recommend Mountain Vista Roof System for roofing work. They did an amazing job on our house and I especially like the GAF Golden Pledge Limited Warranty they offer.

We were looking to replace our 27-year, 2-layer roof. We tried unsuccessfully for a year to get someone to even give us quotes. We decided to start early the next year and we were able to get several quotes. The quotes were all in the ballpark, but it came down to service and added value. When we called Mountain Vista, Steve Carver was on it. He came out immediately and went through all of the products offered and the warranty. He was very professional. He got back to us right away with a quote. Then we were scheduled with Alex the Project Manager. He came to the house to do an on-site inspection. Alex was very professional, friendly and knowledgeable, he closed the deal for us. We were given a start date but ended up having to postpone due to weather. We were quickly rescheduled, and the work began. The workers were on time and efficient. They cleaned up every day and kept in communication with us. We were also in contact with Arielle, she was always pleasant and got us answers. This was a great experience. We are very happy with the end results. :)

Aaron and his team delivered above expectations. Their crew showed up on time, removed old roof, conducted all necessary repairs and installed a new roof. Along the way they ensured they were aligned with building codes and brought out the city inspector mid project to ensure their repairs were acceptable. They left the job site clean and left me with a beautiful new roof and gutters.

Incredible experience from start to finish! We had a roofing emergency, and without even being in contract or customers, Mountain Vista sent out a team to secure the damage. We immediately set up a time to get a free estimate, and it was beyond fair for the price, so we signed our contract to get on the books. The office staff are so friendly, responsive, and kind. And as for install day, Junior and his team were INCREDIBLE. We have a 1500 sq ft house, and in six hours they had the old roof off, fixes done, and the new roof on! Everything was hauled off when they left--but for the new roof, it didn't even look like they were here! Great experience, amazing team! 5 stars, 100 percent should be your roofing choice!

I live in Fernley so I called a couple places to see about a new roof. I called Pacific, Lavoie, Elite and Mountain Vista. Mountain Vista is the only company that called back. They were very professional and came over to discuss prices and options. We made our choices and set up a date. They were in touch via text (how I preferred) on the scheduling the whole time. They arrived on time, it didn't take them but a few hours. They were clean and tidy afterwards and it was a nice experience.
A month later, some dead trees on the property where we live broke off and a huge limb fell onto our house and pierced two holes right through our roof. I called their emergency number and they were out to fix it withing two days. They changed their schedule because they saw that the fluke heavy snow storm we had was coming in...good thing.
