Had the best experience with Marian and Chad in the service department. What I thought was a complicated issue for my Jeep, because a Jeep dealership could not find the problem or fix, turned out to be a quick and painless solution in the span of a couple of hours. Great experience with the service dept! Kept in touch with me through out the day. Got everything done with a price less than originally quoted. Mechanic called me directly to discuss my issue. I usually do as much maintenance as I can before heading to a dealer but after today will start dealing with Nelson Subaru more often.

Service Writer, I think her name is Marion, was very pleasant. Waiting area was very nice. Had TV, beverages and snacks to enjoy while you wait. Bathroom is huge and very clean.
My vehicle had a recall. They said 1 1/2 hrs and they were true to their word. I was very pleasantly surprised.

Multiple engine lights went on suddenly. I called the service department and they were able to explain some of the issues assured me I could drive back to their location. I did not have an appointment, but they began the assessment of my vehicle that day within an hour of my bringing in. I picked up the vehicle two days later. Very nice cordial and informative.

My whole experience was terrible. I made an appointment online because my check engine light came on. A lady called me to confirm my appointment and said it should only take an hour for them to check it. When I got there the lady told me it would take 4 hours and I was not allowed to wait so I had to reschedule. When I came back for my rescheduled appointment the lady said it would take all day and the tech was getting ready to go on vacation. She did end up calling another tech that came in to look at it. It took them almost a week just to call me back with the results as to why the light was on. The parts came in on a Tuesday and I was told it should be done by Thursday. Thursday came and I never heard anything. I called Friday morning and she said it should be done by the afternoon, but once again I never heard back. I would speak to the lady every morning and she said she would give me a call back in the afternoon but never would. She eventually called me and told me they were finishing up and should be done in about 4 hours. 2 more days go by before she calls me back to tell me it was done.
So A week later, for something that I was told would only take two days, I finally have my car back. I will NOT be going back there.

After my usual oil change and tire rotation, I was astounded today that Nelson Subaru told me that they were going to replace my radio and systems screen in my 2019 Outback Premium!! Over the summer it had developed what looks like small bubbles under the surface of the screen. They also promised to look into a transmission noise two weeks from now.

They are true to their promise of the, “Double your warranty guarantee!” as the car has 69,000 miles on it. I live in Roanoke but will never buy a car from anyone else but Nelson

I just had another oil change, tire rotation and inspection done today at 2:00pm. They had me on the road at 2:40. I made the appointment yesterday with an overdue inspection sticker. Southern Team in Roanoke couldn’t get me in for another two weeks. Judy is the best Salesperson you could ever ask for!! Goes out of her way for taking care of a customer like I did when I was a sales representative. Can’t speak any higher about how they take care of you. Your an idiot if you buy a new car somewhere else!!!!!
