Neighborhood Painting did an amazing job! The crew really took their time with repairs and painting. Their work reflects that they truly cared and wanted to do a good job. We had a ton of Woodrot around the entire house, and they fixed all of it. I also loved that they offered a free color consultation. We had a general idea of what color we wanted to paint the house, but the color rep helped us make our decision. We will definitely use them again if needed and will 100% recommend to others. Our neighbors have already given us so many compliments and the house has been done for 1 day.

I contacted Neighborhood painting to have my very old cedar shake siding repaired and re-painted as well as having 3 exterior pillars replaced. They did a fantastic and extremely thorough job. Before painting they did a tremendous amount of prep work and did extensive repairs to my siding including replacing rotted shakes. The paint job itself was extremely thorough and expertly done.

Top notch, honest professionals. We initially used Neighborhood Painting (NP) several years ago to paint our exterior house and repair some wood rot. They did a remarkable, over-the-top job and their estimate was honest and fair. Currently, we turned to NP again for a kitchen make-over. Again, from start (planning)-to-finish, they have been remarkable in their responsiveness, feedback, advice for additional contractors/services/materials if needed, etc. We trust NP completely and turned over the house to them while we left for vacation. Our house exterior had multiple areas of wood rot and needed a fresh coat of paint. We hired Neighborhood Painting based on a neighbor's recommendation, and are very glad that we did. We saw Neighborhood Painting trucks in our area and reached out for their help with interior painting. We have a lot of wood work and knew the project would take a lot of attention to detail and prep work. Ryan repaired a quote next day and we agreed to move forward...no deposit required! While we waited for the confirmation on our start date, we noticed an area in our basement had a water stain. I reached out to Ryan in case he could help with the issue and he recommended a plumber that put us on their schedule that week to take a look. DMC Plumbing came out and was able to repair a cracked pipe just in the nick of time! Now, we needed to repair the drywall and paint an area that wasn't included in our quote and Ryan added this for us and updated our project.

Once the project was scheduled Marcos and his team arrived and started taping, draping, and wrapping. The attention to detail was spectacular and nothing was missed. The team accommodated our schedule with courtesy and finished within the estimated time frame. We do not have any drips on the walls or woodwork. The paint is flawless. We will absolutely work with Ryan and Marcos again.

I couldn't be happier with the work that Neighborhood Painting did. Amazing work from start to finish. Neighborhood Painting handled the full exterior painting of our 80 year old Tudor home and did a fantastic job with the utmost care. Hired Ryan to do an exterior wood repair and paint job. Young men arrived to install my siding upside down clearly had no idea what to do. All the trim was installed with no insulation behind it. Then Ryan proceeded to tell me there was lots of additional wood rot not included and would be extra money after seeing and bidding the job just 3 weeks prior. He Was fired. We have a 118 year old house with old cracked plaster walls that had definitely seen better days. One of the walls had a huge crack down the middle due to materials that had previously been glued to the wall. We also had an old attic fan taken out & removed because we no longer used it.

Bob, Marcos, and Jesus transformed the walls of 2 bedrooms and a whole hallway with tall ceilings into the smoothest plaster walls in this whole house. They are truly masters of their craft & pay attention to smallest details. They were also respectful of our home, and very nice people to meet. We’ll definitely use their services again.

Neighborhood Painting painted our house and they are an outstanding business to deal with. Two Crews came out – the first crew prepared the home caulking and made some wood repairs. After a few days the paint crew came and painted the entire home. The front of our house had several areas of accent trim color – it all turned out great. Everyone was polite and professional. Margaret the office manager was great to work with, she coordinated a complimentary color consultant with PPG paint to help with color choices, and when I mentioned to the Project Manager I was wondering how copper gutters would look on a dark fascia, she found Pinterest pictures for me, she was helpful and encouraging through the entire process! We also appreciated the project manager inspecting the home and making sure everything was done correctly before doing a walk through with us. Great company we would recommend.

We made a wise decision when we chose Neighborhood Painting to work on our 112 year old house. The work of the paint crew has transformed the appearance of our house. Just as important is the work of the prep crew, who caulked everywhere, repaired dry rot, fastened down loose siding, and installed our new storm windows. It's hard to put a value on the peace of mind that delivers. We were impressed by the organizational process Neighborhood Painting uses with separate paint and prep crews. Both crews were professional, experienced, and comfortable to have around, something important when crews are at one's house for many long days. They thoroughly cleaned up the worksite, and competently dealt with working conditions that included high heat and wasps. Neighborhood Painting also gave us access to a color consultant, whom we found very helpful. Great job all around - We went from looking like a haunted house to being one of the best houses on the block. Both the prep crew and the paint crew came in on Saturdays to make up for rainouts; they worked long hard days and were easy to get along with. Here's a before-and-after shot, from a couple years back to just last month. Quite a difference!

Great work, with wonderful attention to detail! Project had a little delay (due to weather) between house prep and painting, however the paint team went back over and spent quality time making sure the house was still well prepped and ready to go before painting started.

Both the prep crew and paint crew were wonderful. Very professional and respectful. Had kiddos that were excited to “watch” the painters and the crew even went out of their way to make sure the kiddos felt involved.

After completion, there were a couple spots I wanted touched up, and they sent someone the next morning to make it right.

Neighborhood Painting was very professional. The work done on my kitchen cabinets is perfect!!!! It is amazing how they were able to tent off the area to work. We had a kettle wait to get our work started but it was well worth the wait!!!! I would recommend them to everyone.

Clark and Frank were SO AWESOME. I am thrilled by the results in our bathroom and master bedroom. They skimcoated and painted all of the walls in ceilings in these rooms, as well as fixed the trim. (We purchased a wannabe flip house that needed some love.) They were on time (even early!) each day and were so thoughtful when it came to clean up. I have an old house and we raised 3 active boys in it. There was much deferred maintenance. Neighborhood Painting gave the exterior a very thorough inspection and provided a detailed scope of work. Their crew replaced wood rot broken shingles and carefully prepared the house for painting. They did a very professional job and Ryan Toelkes personally inspected the finished job, and asked his crew to correct a few minor items which he found. The house looks great and was well worth the cost to have the job done right.

We had an excellent experience with Neighborhood. After having two other paint companies fall through, I contacted Neighborhood. I got a thorough quote and contract right away, and then placed on the schedule. The prep and carpentry work took longer than the actual paint and was very thorough. The paint itself looks great, and it was very helpful to work with the color consultant to make final choices. The cost was a bit higher than the other companies I found, except those companies didn't show up and I am confident the final job by Neighborhood was well worth it. During the work, there were a few additional wood rot places found, which increased the final cost slightly, but Ryan or the project manager kept us informed so we could make decisions on those additional costs. Highly recommend.

First time home owner getting getting the house painted... Ryan was very helpful when walking around to find wood rot and explaining problem spots to fix before painting as well as giving me options. I had multiple estimates and he found problem spots that other contractors didn’t look at. This made the estimate much closer to the final price that I think wouldn’t have been the case with the others. When it came to the actual job... the crew was on time every morning without fail. The detail and time they took to caulk every nail and seam was incredible. When the painting crew started it was the exact same case. The detail of painting areas and the quality of the job was beyond my expectations. In the end our house ended up looking better than we imagined it would and without a doubt they have the set the standard for what I expect every house paint job to look like.

We received a detailed estimate from Neighborhood Painting to paint the exterior of our home and detached garage, and to repair a screened in porch. They showed up on time and completed the work as promised. They found additional wood rot when doing prep work and supplied us with an estimate to do the additional work as well. I just had my house painted. There was a lot of work involved due to wood rot. I am so happy with the prepping and the paint job. The workers were wonderful and the attention to detail was amazing. I feel like I live in a new house. Its gorgeous. Another thing that I appreciated was that there were no surprise costs. When I met with Ryan to obtain an an estimate his inspection was thorough, he took pictures of the problem areas and explained the necessary repairs. I knew exactly what to expect.

Construction of the complete replacement of our outside stairs went fantastic. The stairs go from the 2nd story to ground level with a landing in between. Quality was number one. Everything was put together with screws. At my request, they used cedar tone pressure treated wood for every single piece. We expect these stairs to last indefinitely. This was our first experience with Neighborhood Painting and will no be the last. We are having them stain the stairs and existing upper porch later this year. Also, at some point will have them repair and paint the outside of the house.

Neighborhood Painting just replaced an old wood staircase for me on my patio. They did a great job and it looks much better than new! They also took the time to clean up everything and left no scraps or any materials at all. All in all a very fine job and I won't hesitate to call Neighborhood Painting when I need something done again.

I've worked with neighborhood painting on 3 occasions since 2011 and have nothing but positive feedback for Ryan and his crew. Neighborhood Painting just completed our house. There was a lot of wood rot (25 year old house) and the construction crew did an outstanding job. Painting crew was amazing. Meticulous, careful and thorough. In completing the job, some of the touch up was done with makeup brushes! My house is approximately 6000 sq ft with treacherous terrain (steep incline, rocks in the back and on one side) and I never heard a complaint or comment that the job was too difficult. I truly believe you get what you pay for! I got six quotes before deciding on Neighborhood Painting. They were the second highest. I had a true sense of confidence after meeting with CEO Ryan Toelkes that my house would look perfect and weatherproof upon completion. He backs it up with a 5 year warranty. Our biggest investment just got an upgrade!

Neighborhood Painting did outstanding work on my 1960's ranch house during the past few weeks. The wood rot was removed and repaired, it was scraped, cleaned and prepped. Ryan was very attentive to details of the job and maintained contact with me about the painting crew schedule. Ryan and his team of experts repaired and painted my house these last two weeks (10/16/19). The team did a remarkable job -- everything is perfect! There was a lot of wood rot (old house!) and the team of carpenters made it look new. They were careful, artful, and gentlemanly. They took the time to thoroughly inspect and recommended several additional items that needed to be done that were not obvious until some of the "bad stuff" was removed. They even recommended an artful treatment over the window and garage that added a lot of charm. The team of painters were equally skilled and gracious. They painted perfectly (no kidding!) and carefully taped and protected everything. They helped me install new hardware on the front and back door that I was planning to do myself (more complex than I thought!). They cleaned up so you'd never even know they had been there, except the house looked glorious! There is not one single thing that caused me any dissatisfaction. They are a great company and team.

The crews from Neighborhood Painting were courteous and did a great job. From the color consultation all the way to the final touches, communication throughout the project was great and we felt like we were kept in the loop every step of the way. There were some additional repairs brought to our attention before painting began which was unexpected, but appreciated. With a project of this magnitude, additional costs aren’t ideal, but it’s also good to know that no shortcuts were taken. The crew was even able to step up and fit us into the schedule for an additional project when another contractor didn’t show. Definitely glad we chose Neighborhood Painting for our home.

And I thought this was a good company with all the great reviews but I was sadly mistaken. Quoted us an outrageous amount. I live in the house I grew up in, my parents have passed away and yes they didn't do proper upkeep on the exterior because they had a lot more serious problems to deal with in the past and they struggled financially for many and many years mostly because of my past medical history. The way my boyfriend described to me that Ryan was appalled by our house and that's not professional whatsoever.

I used Neighborhood Painting to fix the siding on my house and to paint it. Their crews did a great job and did at the quoted price. I will use them again for sure.

Neighborhood Painting painted the exterior of our house a few years ago, and they did a very thorough job. They identified numerous areas of wood rot and replaced them so we didn't have problems with it later. Some companies would have just painted over wood rot just to get the job done. It still looks great. We used them again for a tedious interior job sanding and painting wood paneling, built-ins, box beams and banister. The paint job is precise and professional. We will use them again if we ever need a professional painter.

I got several estimates on painting the exterior of our house and decided to go with Neighborhood Painting. Prior to providing the estimate Ryan Toekles and I did a walk around the house and discussed what needed to be done in regards to prep work and paint. The estimate provided fully captured all details of that conversation. Of the three estimates the one from Neighborhood Painting was on the high side but not by much.
During the project several people commented on the quality of the prep work. It took several days to paint the house. The paint crew showed up early put in a full day and cleaned up at the end of each day. We have a fair amount of landscaping and the impact to it during the painting was minimal. I liked everyone I dealt with at Neighborhood Painting and the final job was everything I expected. I would highly recommend these people.

This company was wonderful to work with. My house had wood rot and repairs that needed to be done prior to painting. The prep crew did a fantastic job. Then the paint crew comes. They worked in hot, windy conditions and did a great job. I have received so many compliments on how my house looks now. A++++++

We had some fairly extensive wood-rot repair that needed to happen, and got quotes from 4 different companies for our project. Only one of those quotes included re-siding one side of our house, and that was Neighborhood. The other 3 companies just wanted to repair that side. After seeing what the studs looked like underneath our old siding, I am so thankful we listened to Ryan and re-sided. They were soft and rotting and had we just repaired the surface problems we would've been doing more repairs in just a few years. Neighborhood was not our lowest quote--this was not a cheap project--but we wanted it done right and after several conversations with Ryan we really felt like he was the most knowledgeable and reliable and we decided it was worth the money to choose Neighborhood. I am even more confident in our choice now that the work is completed. Ryan is the only one that detected how bad that side was, and I'm grateful we spent the extra money to do the job right. From start to finish, the project ran smoothly. Both the prep and painting crew were friendly and always willing to answer questions. What I was most impressed by was their punctuality. They arrived at 7 am every day, and they worked hard the whole time they were there (despite them being some of the hottest weeks of the year). They even went out of their way to do a few little extra things (like moving a tree branch that had fallen in our yard). They do a fantastic job cleaning up after themselves every night, I was thoroughly impressed by their work ethic and how professional both crews were. I also really appreciated that Ryan was easy to reach and prompt to respond to questions. Anything I asked him about, I had an answer within a few hours. In general this is just a well-run, reliable, professional company, and I honestly have nothing but good things to say about anyone I had contact with. While they may not be your lowest bid, I assure you it is worth the extra money to work with a company that will take good care of you, and to know your house is in good hands. We are so happy with the finished project and are confident the house will look wonderful for many many years!

Excellent company. The work was done in two stages. First the prep/wood rot crew worked for 2 days to get the house ready for paint. I had some extensive wood rot, especially around our garden room and on our front porch columns. The crew repaired all that and caulked and prepped the rest of the house. The paint crew came 2 weeks later (delayed by rain) and painted the house and shutters in 2 days. Both crews were very meticulous and clean up was excellent. A very professional job - I would be happy to recommend Ryan and Neighborhood Painting to anyone.

Neighborhood Painting did such an awesome job with the outside of our house that we hired then do paint our kitchen cabinets, remove popcorn ceilings, and paint the interior of our house as well. The team is very professional and courteous. I would definitely utilize their services again!

Neighborhood Painting is wonderful! I couldn’t be happier with the interior painting work by this company. Ryan gained my confidence in the beginning when explaining all the work they would do to prepare and complete the painting of the interior of my home. Additionally, he was very attentive to further correspondence via emails. Dave was attentive and kind regarding questions/requests of both the work crew and me. Along with the excellent painting job, the painters showed up on time, worked hard all day, were careful with floors, furniture, etc. I highly recommend this company!

We used Neighborhood Paining for the exterior of our house that sits in a historic neighborhood. They did great work on the prep and painting. We are very satisfied.

I am extremely pleased with the work we had done by Neighborhood Painting. We had our whole house painted outside. The prep crew arrived and the team lead had us walk around the entire house to verify the work to be done. The crew put in a full three days prepping the house which involved a lot of caulking and wood rot repair and replacing some siding panels. I cannot tell you how impressed we were with the crew's work ethic and professionalism. Same with the paint crew. They worked two long days and did a great job. Again so impressed with the care they took to protect our screens and our patio to be sure there was no over-splatter on these surfaces. We had one small issue after they finished that I felt needed a little more work. I contacted the owner, Ryan, and he immediately responded that he would send someone out to take care of the matter to our satsfaction. The house looks fantastic and I have no reservations about giving the highest recommendation of this company.

We used Neighborhood Painting a few years ago for painting the exterior of our home. They did such excellent work, we hired them again this past year to do some interior painting. Again, they were excellent! Very nice to work with and their work is superior. Attention to detail phenomenal! Work ethic immeasurable! I would always hire them for any painting that needs to be done.

I moved to Kansas not long ago, bought almost a new house. After 6 years in this house I’ve decided that it is time to get it painted. After searching through Internet and asking coworkers I stopped my choice on Neighborhood Painting Inc. Being a sceptic I was surprised that what was in this company website advertisement is true. I am completely satisfied how the process was well organized. Work scheduling for both prep and painting crews was done considering my time frame goals. Project procedures were completed with great quality and high attention to details. During the project time, communication was aligned based on the almost immediate phone call and within 1-2 hours’ email response. I would recommend this team to my friends.

We had a large deck that needed restained. Neighborhood Painting responded quickly to my request for information and provided an estimate. They were able to get the project scheduled earlier than planned and got the job done when they said they would, had it checked by a supervisor and followed up with us to see if we were happy with the job. The deck looks great and I really appreciate a company that responds quickly and follows through on all phases of a project.

This is the third time we have used Neighborhood Painting and we have been happy with their work each time. The painting of our kitchen was the last part of our remodeling job and from the prep work (extensive) to the finished product (excellent) we were pleased with the quality of their work. The crew was always on time and courteous and we will use them again as soon as a painting need arises. This is an update.(08/2023)......we just had our house painted and we again used Neighborhood Painting and were happy with our choice. The foreman and crew were excellent and I would recommend them highly for any paint job, either interior or exterior.
