This company is awesome! Wes and his team did amazing work. We have a lot of stuff planned for our house, and we will be using Need Construction!

Need Construction has been fantastic from start to finish with our roof replacement. They worked with our insurance to help get us covered and were quick with both the old roof removal and new roof install. I would highly recommend them for any construction needs you may have.

Our house was damaged during Hurricane Helene. After many calls to different construction companies, Wes was quick to respond and help us through the process of seeing the damages be repaired. He is great to work with as well as his team. Working with insurance company was frustrating but he guided through the long difficult process.

Couldn’t recommend them more! I called about putting a roof on my pergola, and instead of just charging me money and building something that wouldn’t last, he was completely honest with me and said the pergola couldn’t support a roof. He found an actual option for me and came to put a sun shade on top and made it look great! Definitely don’t always find honest people in this industry so was very lucky with this company, could have easily charged me so much more and done it anyways but had my best intentions in mind! Honest and trustworthy.

Need Construction did an outstanding job restoring our home after Hurricane Helene. From the moment I got in touch with Wes, it was professional, all encompassing, and I was kept in the loop 24/7. Among other things, they repaired the shingles, fixed water damage, replaced siding, and removed all storm debris quickly and efficiently. When they came across challenges, they informed us and went above and beyond in helping us clear them. Wes and his team made dealing with this stressful situation much easier and our home looks better than ever. I called Need Construction yesterday to inquire about their quote process and the necessary plans for obtaining an estimate. Unfortunately, the experience was far from professional.

The person who answered the phone simply said, "Hello," without identifying the company, so I had to confirm if I had reached the right place. When I asked what documentation was needed for a quote, he abruptly asked whats my budget and told me he didn’t have time to answer my questions because he was "tired of people wasting his time" and mentioned something about clients not having the budget after he drives to their homes.

I was taken aback by his response, as my question was straightforward and reasonable. I informed him that his comment was rude and unprofessional—no potential client should be spoken to that way.

I’m unsure whether his reaction was due to my voice (I sound young), my ethnicity (I’m clearly a person of color), or simply his general demeanor, but it was off-putting and disrespectful. As someone interested in your services, I expected a much more professional interaction.

I hope this feedback is taken seriously, as first impressions matter in customer relations.

He was very helpful in explaining his work, very clear communication, and did an excellent job repairing the many holes the woodpeckers made on our stucco home.

We recently set out to replace some wood rot on our screened-in porch. Once we started dismantling it, we discovered much more rotten wood than we initially anticipated, including a carpenter ant infestation in one of the support joists.

We called Need Construction and Wes came out on a Friday afternoon to take a look and give us a quote. They were able to quickly complete the repairs we needed and flawlessly matched the new woodwork to the old. The crew was quick, professional and cleaned up well after the work was completed.

I hired Need Construction for a few big projects and I can’t be happier with the results. Wes was excellent with communicating and making sure I was happy with each project. The cost was very fair and the work was all professionally done. I had a front deck added, a hot tub deck and privacy wall put in, new windows, new retaining wall for our driveway. Need Construction delivered high quality craftsmanship on a complex home renovation project, and they did it on budget. I would definitely work with them again.

We had an accident in our home on a Thursday night, I contacted Wes Friday and he was able to have a crew out Saturday morning to reinforce the wall. His communication was great, the quality of their work is top notch, and we couldn’t be more happy. Our room looks exactly as it did before the incident. Would 10/10 recommend for any construction/remodel needs.

Someone from this company came to my home to give me an estimate to fix my roof from hurricane Helene. He barely looked at the damage, he pulled out his paperwork and was ready to tell me what he was going to do. All I wanted was an estimate for my rafters and holes in my ceiling. This was not enough for him, he wanted to give me a new metal roof as well. I told him I have a contractor for that and he said then the job is not worth his time. Terrible customer service and apparently very greedy.

We had Need Construction complete our whole home remodel. They did work spanning proper removal and supporting of load bearing walls, framing changes, drywall, new hardwood flooring, cabinetry, electrical, HVAC, decking work and even pouring concrete slabs. Navigating the process of having a home remodel done can be a daunting task. Need construction was able to take the vision we had for our home and make it a reality while limiting the impact that a home remodel would have on our family. There was an obvious push for quality over quantity and you can see the results of that in every part of our home. As a homeowner I was treated as a friend and not just as another job. Every effort was made to make sure that my family was happy with not just the product but the process of getting there as well. I would recommend Need Construction to anyone, regardless of the scope of your project. They are that good!

The team at Need Construction came from an online search for a contractor that could repair our bathroom and office after we had pipe burst resulting in water damage. Wes was able to work with our insurance company to handle the repair and to work on some personal projects that we needed handled. We ended up with a separate water damage from a recent severe storm and the team was able to accommodate some adjustments to our project and make recommendations that improved our drainage outside. We were able to call and text Wes, as needed, to coordinate calendars and communicate timelines. We were very happy to work with them and recommend them for your home renovation projects. They are knowledgeable and look to make it a great experience.

BLUF : Need Construction removed the bounce and sag of our kitchen floor by installing a 16 foot support beam along the main load bearing wall in our basement. Wes, and his entire team, was professional, clean and in short awesome. Without hesitation I would recommend them, and I will be contacting them if I have a need for any other construction.

Long explanation of why a 5 star review :

We have an older multi-level home and the floor around my kitchen was bouncy and had a significant sag. I was losing sleep about this structural issue and every creak of the house had me thinking the house was falling apart. After consulting with a structural engineer, We got three estimates to install a 16 foot support beam along the main load bearing wall in my basement. Although not the cheapest of the estimates, Need Construction was the obvious choice to trust with such a critical modification to our home. To say the least, we were extremely nervous about the project. Wes presented a solid plan to install the16 foot support beam: Need Construction was to remove large sections of drywall from three walls and the ceiling of the basement. Then, they were to level the floor above, support the floor joists, install the beam and then reconstruct and paint the basement. The confidence and professionalism with which Wes presented his plan, allayed most of our fears. During the estimate inspection, Wes said that our project would not be finished until we were completely satisfied with the final product. Wes was more than true to his word. Though out the experience, I got to meet every member of his team as they showed to complete their part of the job. My basement is a mother-in-law suite where my daughter lives. she didn't even move to a different area of the house through out the project. Each team was so meticulous about sealing off the construction area and cleaning up every day that she was able to sleep in her bed and use the kitchen before and after work. About half way through the project we realized that we were not even nervous anymore. Need Construction had an engineer on staff who oversaw the project and personally inspected critical aspects of the construction. Wes remained in contact throughout the project. I just texted him when I had questions, and he would reply. When I texted him with concerns, he would call me back immediately. When issues arose during the project, Wes would show up the next morning to orchestrate the changes that were required. While the finish carpenters were painting the newly installed drywall on the ceiling , we found an aspect that of the beam that we wanted to change. The finish team immediately left and Wes had the construction team out the next morning to make the desired changes. We could not be happier with this project. I literally sleep better at night because the floor is now level and the house is structurally sound. The creaking sounds of this old house don't happen as often as they used to, and thanks to Need Construction, I hardly pay them any mind.

One of the posts on my front porch was damaged, leaving a portion of the roof of the porch sagging slightly. I called for a quote, but Need Construction went above and beyond! He offered to install a temporary post to support my roof while he wrote up an estimate for the full repair. The crew was friendly and professional, and the repair looks great. I will use them for home repairs again!

Wes and his people did impressive work at my home. I had been ripped off by another contractor and Wes and Need construction stepped in and saved the day. I was impressed with their expertise working with concrete. Good stuff. Awesome job. They definitely know what they're doing. Their work is top notch.

Sometimes when you Google a service or company, you’re not sure if you trust the reviews. I Googled Need Construction recently and hit paydirt. Wes came out to my house and I trusted him quickly. The deck his team built is excellent, high quality and was completed on time at a fair price. Wish I had discovered Need Construction years ago! 5 Star recommendation from me.

Wes came out to help me quote a project on short notice and went above and beyond with speaking to the tenant for me in spanish. Will be using this company for future jobs.

We noticed our deck settled some and the stairs looked to be pulling off the main deck. We called Need Construction and Wes came out. He was great and I would highly recommend:

- Very honest and transparent - some would have wanted to make this a bigger project but he showed us what was needed and at a really good price
- He fit us in around other projects and came out within a week which was appreciated
- The work was done really well.- well braced and he stained a couple of times to make sure it matched.

I'm glad we found Need, we haven't had a good construction company for some time and will use again.

We worked with Wes to remove our old 2 level deck, install a new deck with a roof and pour a concrete slab patio underneath. The quality of work done on our project is outstanding. Better than we anticipated. Wes was always available to answer our questions and was super friendly to work with. The price was fair and there were zero added surprises. The crews were respectful, tidy and kind. At times, our timeline was delayed, but the overall quality of the project was worth the wait.

Our back deck was in need of serious repair. I’m not sure if it’s the original deck. If that’s the case, it’s from the late 1980’s.
When I first met Wes for a quote, I knew he was going to build an incredible deck. Wes is a friendly guy and a great work ethic. Honest about the work that needed to be done. His price was very reasonable.
His crew came out, removed the old deck and built one beyond my expectations.
His crew is totally professional and respectful of the property. They built the deck like it was theirs. Expert craftsmanship.

One of my cars on the driveway had a flat tire ( not caused by his crew ) and he offered to come back and fix it at the end of the day. You do not find that type of service in our world today!

I had a deck that was not installed properly years ago. The lack of flashing on original deck caused wood damage to siding as well as support beams. Need Construction was able to assess damage and correct issue. They showed up when promised, completed project and thoroughly cleaned up the area. Would definitely recommend them.

Wes Coppola and his team were fantastic, they gave me a fair price, did great work, and it was done quickly. I needed some roof and deck repairs done quickly while selling my home and they made it stress-free. I highly recommend their services and will be calling them again.

Wes and the Need Construction team really helped us out of a tough spot. We needed specific siding repairs done quicky to complete FHA refinancing. They we able to complete the repairs in one day, and at a much more reasonable price than the first contractor we tried. We will definitely be working with Need Construction again soon to replace our windows and make other needed repairs.

Wes and his team were a pleasure to deal with, had high standards and price their work competitively. The job was relatively small and I actually learned a lot in the process of getting this project done. Turns out the previous roofing contractor had used Interior finger-joint casing around the trim of a storage shed area. When we bought this home several years ago, the home inspection failed to catch this. Anyway, we had a small hiccup during the job but Wes did a terrific job handling it and earned not only a ton of respect but recommendations and future business. His ‘pops’ raised him well and I’m sure Need Construction can help you with future repairs that are both high quality and budget friendly!

We had siding replaced, porch railing repairs, deck repairs and a new toilet installed. He’s very diligent in letting you know if he is running late due to working on another customer’s project. Wes and co did a great job re-roofing my backyard shed. He also noticed several other things around the back of the house that needed help, and I let him take care of those things for me as well, like a busted deck post, shed siding, and junk removal. He was a great communicator and I always knew what to expect, when he'd arrive and when he was finished. I'm very satisfied with his work and would call him again.

Wes was great to work with, we had a gutter issue that couldn’t be fixed without having a very tall ladder. Wes came over and handled it for a very reasonable price.

Had a small leak on the roof and needed to replace the roof vents. A very nice gentleman came over as soon as we called and did a wonderful job. Was happy to see no leak the next day when it rained, will recommend.

The way the treated the job, you would have thought I asked him to do open heart surgery lol. Wes is a great guy and very respectful. He installed two doors in my basement and they look amazing! Also he noticed my gutters were full and offered to clean my gutters for a small charge. I really appreciate the great work!!
