Nations Choice replaced the Trex on my deck, the stairs, and part of the back fence of my townhouse.
They were quick and did a comprehensive and attractive job. I spend more time on my deck now and enjoy the space.

Then they replaced my front door and storm door. They initially brought the wrong type screen door but then brought the correct one and replaced it without cost. It looks great and is sturdier and solid but provides more light in the house.

To top it off, Nations Choice replaced my entire roof. Luckily, just before some serious rain and storms and wind. They accomplished it all in one day and cleaned up everything after. Very smooth and efficient. Although if I were to do it again (I won't need to) I would make sure to be gone during the roof work since it was super LOUD inside my home office.

They made financial coverage for the different projects easy also. It's a great company with specialized divisions who have experts in the area. Totally recommend checking them out!

Great home visit with Nations Choice Exteriors personnel to ensure we selected the right storm door to meet our requirements. Professionally installed!

We used Nations Choice to install a new front door, four small windows and a kitchen slider window. We were pleased with the end products. It is nice to have the kitchen window updated - it looks good and we can open it easily. There was an issue with the front door and Nations Choice was great about ordering and installing the replacement in a timely manner. They worked with us on installing a new lock assembly we have purchased. Work was done fairly quickly and cleanly.

The siding is to be installed this week. To date great service overall. Multiple uncontrollable circumstances have made communications hard.

Unfortunately, I cannot recommend Nation's Choice. I received an at-home estimate in October by the alleged co-owner with a verbal quote of $16,500 for approximately 260 square feet of Trex Transcend to refloor my covered porch. For over two months I received phone calls from a Nation's Choice representative - nearly a dozen in total - each time asking if I was considering a project for my home. I explained each time that an estimate had been done and I was waiting for a quote to be be emailed to me so I could examine it. Meanwhile, I priced out the Trex material at MSRP, fasteners, teardown and disposal, and rate for a master carpenter (which came in at about half their quoted rate). Finally, I spoke with Gary on January 3, 2025. I asked him about the delta between the price I figured and Nation's Choice breathtaking markup. I did not receive a satisfactory answer. While polite, all he did was attempt to scare me with some mention of tariffs increasing the price of Trex (28%!!!!) soon. Perhaps the extra $8,000 is going to pay the folks that called me over the course of two months - I guess we'll never know, I never received a quote as requested.

Nations Choice is the way to go. John was amazing explaining the type of windows we were getting, the time window and also helped us with making sure we got a low rate for the financing. Nations Choice did a wonderful job installing our new windows. We love them. We now have amazing windows at a very low cost. I highly recommend them.

Nation’s Choice installed two windows on our end-unit townhome. The result was excellent, and the salesperson (Stefan M) and installers were professional and personable.

Nations Choice provided excellent service. My AC had gone out when they came and I was waiting for the HVAC company to come fix it. The Nation’s Choice crew came in did the work they needed to despite the temperature at the time.

Anybody I will advice let them put down details on contract , if not I lost ur money we talk to replace all windows including window frame but they didn’t put on contract finally they told me not on contract

The installers were very professional and artistic. They were on time and executed the job with precision. The job was completed 3 days ago and I am still standing in a trance admiring

Good evening I just wanted to share this with you I don’t have a personal experience but Darius was out in 100 degrees weather to get his job done he deserves a raise very respectful and polite gentleman

I’m not going to give 1 star because it wouldn’t be fair since I didn’t hire them and didn’t get to experience their work. But my issue is that it took 3 appointment for them to show up for an estimate. The first time the guy called and said he was running 20 mins late but didn’t end up arriving at all. The second time they called to say they couldn't make it but if I schedule for a 3rd time they will give me a even bigger discount for the past times they missed. A discount the guy explained as incredible discount as an apology for missing the past dates. When the estimator arrived he was nice but then when we were talking I mentioned how I got multiple quotes for a previous job and we were also going to get multiple quotes for the current job. He then said “too bad your not in the market”????. At the end, that discount that was supposed to be incredible turned out to be the highest bid out of all 4 that I have gotten. The waste of time did anger me. But I will show y’all fairness and not give you 1 star.

If you could give more than 5 stars I would!! After meeting several contractors we chose Nations Choice to replace our 30 year old vinyl siding with James Hardie siding. It was a huge job! The work ethic of Jae and his crew was admirable. They arrived at 7am and left at 6pm only stopping for a quick lunch. We are delighted with the finished project. Our house looks updated and lovely. They cleaned up every night.

We also had 23 windows replaced with beautiful Provia windows. Again Jae and his helpers did a wonderful job. Very fast, efficient and professional. Easy to work with.

John Kim, President of the company, was very attentive and kept us updated. They even finished one day early. Meticulous work was done at our home! Highly recommend!

John Kim and his team set the bar high when it comes to customer service. Our first experience with John was window replacements for the whole townhouse. Then we decided to change our exterior doors followed by vinyl wrapping of some the exterior surfaces. Outstanding work and professionalism. I will be contacting John to discuss replacing my siding.

Nations Choice exceeded all expectations siding our home exterior. The team took care of every detail as if our home were theirs. They are honest, fair, hard-working, ands talented. We are extremely impressed.

After interviewing several roofing contractors, Nations Choice Exteriors was hired to replace the roof and gutters on my home, which was built in 1935. The roofing materials arrived the day before the job. The next day, the workmen were on time, professional, and well trained.
The old roof was removed, and repairs of the roofing deck were completed by mid-morning. The underlayment, drip edge, flashing, and new roof were installed by late afternoon. The crew did a great job on the roof and a fantastic job of cleaning up after the roof was completed, no nails, paper, or roofing debris in my grass and garden beds. GREAT JOB NATIONS CHOISE!

I had a roof replaced, new leaf guard gutters and an old attic fan removed and replaced with a more efficient way to ventilate it. The price was on the high end but the entire process was excellent from beginning to end!

Nations Choice built our deck several months ago. John Kim worked with us on a plan that would fit our budget, and his employees did a fantastic job installing the deck. Nations Choice also installed new windows and exterior doors a couple years ago—again a superb job.

John Kim and his employees were very professional and responsive, and they did a terrific job on my house. Nations Choice Exteriors installed James Hardie siding, trim, caulking and several hundred feet of soffits. They also had a subcontractor install gutters, downspouts and gutter covers.
I was very concerned about the quality of the work, contacted the James Hardie company, and Nations Choice was on their short list of recommended installers.
As others have said, I was extremely impressed with Jay and the installer crew.

They replaced my old vinyl, siding and re-side of the house with James Hardy product. They did an absolutely beautiful job and cleaned up after themselves. The house has behaved so much better both with air conditioning and with heat because of the additional insulation they installed. Underneath the hardy siding.

We've used Nations Choice for a few home projects now. They are very good at follow-up, and were very prompt to answer questions when asked. Very little pressure.

Nation's Choice called to see if we had any home improvement projects in mind. They had previously installed windows in our house, and we were very happy with their work at that time, so we invited them to give us an estimate on replacing our 20-year-old roof, which showed signs of wear.

John Kim, owner of the company, showed up as scheduled to inspect and give us an estimate. He explained fully what his company would do, including materials and installation. We agreed on a price and date, which was much sooner than I had anticipated.

The materials were delivered and work commenced as scheduled. The existing shingles were stripped and 26 sheets of plywood were replaced before the new roof went on. The crew worked around the gutter protection system and removed 2 unused SATV antennas.

The work, including cleanup, was completed in one long day that finished at sundown. The crew returned the next morning to ensure that no debris had been overlooked during cleanup due to low light.

The job was done on time, at the agreed-on price. The new roof looks great, perfectly matched the existing shingles on a covered porch that had been built only a couple of years previously. Cleanup was thorough - after several weeks I have yet to spot a single overlooked nail on the ground.

I am pleased to recommend Nation''s Choice Exteriors for roof replacement (and for replacement window installations).

We had a large siding project for a huge addition and wanted James Hardie siding. I spoke with Hardie and got a list of several recommended installers. Hardie explained to me the critical steps necessary to have a quality installation and be eligible for their 30yr. warranty. It's critical that this product be installed properly for a good result, and the steps are listed on their website. This is a costly endeavor like buying a fine suit for your house. You want it done right, so it looks great and last for a long time.

I sought quotes from 5 companies recommended by Hardie. Some good, some awful!! Most had the basics correct, but I was impressed when John Kim, the owner, came to my house to look over the project. He emphasized every detail that Hardie recommends and was passionate about the job being done correctly. His expert knowledge and thoughtful follow-up made my decision easy. He even wanted a particular crew to do my house.

The crew was headed up by Jay, and he's even more of a perfectionist than John. That became evident on the first day. We walked the project discussed and refined all the details. He provided recommendations based on his experience with Hardie siding. Every step of the way if there was something that could be done better he would contact me so it would be to our liking, and done properly. The crew worked diligently every day from 7:30am till sometimes 6:30pm with only a break for lunch. The work site was always kept clean even during the day. Jay would review all the work that was being done by doing most of the meticulous caulking himself. This allowed him to look at every nail hole and every seam to ensure they were correct. The total job took two weeks in 98 degree Washington weather. The results are spectacular. Our neighbors commented on how good it looks even though it hasn't been painted yet. The primed siding was done that well. Even after we were done, we noticed two vents that the HVAC had placed on the front of the house, and asked him to move them. Jay came back and replaced two planks in time so the painters could start. John and Jay both wanted us to be happy with the work even it it meant they had to redo something that wasn't their fault. That's incredible customer service. You can see the difference in the pictures I'm posting.

If you need siding, windows, gutters, and especially Hardie siding Nations Choice should be your first call. They are my top recommendation.
