I would give Chad Chance and Music City Exteriors 10 stars if possible. Our insurance company took over three months to approve our hale and wind claim. Initially only approving a partial roof replacement, without gutter replacement. Our existing shingles had been discontinued years before. State Farm proposed repairing the roof with shingles that were not a match. Chad went to bat for us, patiently submitting additional photos and ordering the shingle suggested to illustrate how far off the color was. He stayed in touch with my husband and I, our insurance agent and the claims department until all issues were resolved. Frankly, Chad helped keep me sane throughout the insurance ordeal. Other roofers would have probably declined to do the job given how difficult State Farm was.

They replaced our roof, gutters and added a beautiful new porch at the front entry. My husband I are thrilled with the quality of the work. I highly recommend Music City Exteriors.

I had someone from this company come out to give us an estimate to repair the exterior of our home. We had multiple damaged areas due to the tornado that hit Clarksville in December. The initial estimate that was sent to me failed to include the main area of our roof that needed repair… No big deal, people make mistakes. Apparently, the inspector caught this during his inspection, but did not revise his estimate to ensure it was complete before sending it over. Again, no big deal. People make mistakes. The inspector corrected this issue, but then I realized that he forgot to note two additional issues. It took a bit of hounding from me, but these were finally included in the estimate. When I sent the estimate off to the insurance, they pointed out a major typo in the estimate that made the meaning unclear and needed to be corrected before they would approve it. I contacted this company yet again — via text, phone, and email — but they did not respond. On top of that, I also realized that they forgot to include yet ANOTHER issue in the estimate. Do yourself a favor and stay far far away.

Music City Exteriors met and exceeded our expectations in every area! We had been working with another (National) roofing company that kept putting off the work until our insurance claim was nearly voided because of time limits. This other huge company eventually explained that they were unable to meet our needs because our roof was too complicated (asphalt and metal sections). We then had less than a month to get the roof replaced or we would lose our insurance payment. The salesman for this other company contacted Music City Exteriors and then gave me their contact information.
So I called Music City Exteriors immediately. From the first phone call (with Chad) until the work was completed, I experienced absolute satisfaction from the workers, the supervisors and the staff! They worked with my insurance company, were transparent about costs and the specific materials, and about the crews that would be installing the asphalt, the standing seam metal sections, and the gutter replacement. All of the crews were efficient, polite, and kept the areas neat and clean. The supervisor was on site every day and throughout the work day except when he had to pick up materials to keep the work going. The work was completed and submitted to our insurance company in time! And the work cost significantly less ($10,500 less!) than the first company's estimates. We are 100% satisfied with the work and the price. I think it is telling that the larger roofing company called Music City Exteriors for help. It shows that this local company, with its local crews, could get the job done in a timely manner. I was not asked to submit a review (or even to place a yard sign) but I feel compelled to let interested people know that this is a quality operation run by quality people. I recommend them very highly!

I am happy to report that the new leadership at Music City Exteriors has been very responsive to my calls and completing all my issues to my expectation.

Music City Exteriors removed my old 5” gutters and did repairs on the soffit and fascia. They then installed new 6” gutters and downspouts. Chad oversaw the project and was quick to answer any questions and concerns I had. The price was competitive as well. I would definitely recommend Music City Exteriors and would use them again!

CJ (Chad) was lovely to work with and his team replaced the entire roof on the hottest day for years. It’s been over 6 months now and the new roof has weathered some of the worst storms in these parts. We love our new roof!

We had a large piece of vinyl siding blow off and take our gutter downspout with it in the straight line winds that affected TN on 3/3/23. I called Monday morning anticipating having to make many calls and have Troy me getting on anyone’s schedule. Chad was super kind and professional on the phone and promised to come out to give me a quote that same day which he did. His quote was reasonable and fair and I accepted a few hours after he sent it. He had said he could squeeze me in as the last job the very next day and would send 2 guys out. Three guys showed up at noon and did an amazing job putting the siding and downspout back up. You would truly never know it had fallen off. Chad and the workers who came out (I sadly didn’t get their names) were professional, kind, skilled and honestly the whole experience exceeded my expectations on all fronts: price, quality and timeliness. We would absolutely use them again anytime and are so grateful for the way they prioritized us during what I know is a super busy season with the widespread damage. They get all the stars and thanks. They were very prompt. I was given information of the process up front and everything took place just as explained.

They completed the work as requested, were professional and showed up on time. I did not have any shingles or nails to clean up afterwards. I woud not hesitate to use them again.

Installed roof 10 years ago. Called them recently just before warranty expired regarding leak. They responded right away and came out and fixed the problem, inspected the roof for damage and possible replacement. All is good now. Will certainly call them when we need new roof.

Anthony came out to fix a strip of fascia that been blown off during one of the last storms and the experience was great! He was courteous and professional and all-around pleasant to work with. My call was responded to within 24 hours, he got here and the repair completed quickly, and when I mentioned I needed to schedule a roof inspection he offered to do it right then and there. I would definitely use this company's services again!

Top notch company- we had a roof leak from the last storm and there were here in an hour. Tarped the roof and helped us with the insurance claim. Our chimney was leaking and we had to have the flashing replaced. They were able to come out and give a free estimate and fix the problem right away. Good to work with, and got the job done in a timely manner.

Anthony and his team did a great job throughout the process with our roof. Not only did he respond quickly, he provided options and then walked us through the process every step of the way. During the actual "construction" of the roof he was onsite and always available to answer any questions that came up. From start to finish this was a top notch company to work with.

Jeff and Bruce were very responsive and helpful in getting our roof repaired. They diagnosed the issue and had it repaired in a very short time frame. Excellent folks to deal with.

Our interests were not aligned. They wanted to finish the job as quickly and cheaply as possible. We wanted the job to be done well, and there were a variety of conflicts that arose because of this discrepancy. We had to repeatedly fight to achieve quality work and were left with a mostly satisfactory outcome after three frustrating and stressful months of negotiation and conflict.

The project manager did not consider assessment of the quality of the work as his responsibility. When we tried to fill this role, we were either told that our previously agreed upon expectations were now unreasonable, or that the issues would be addressed only to have them disregarded. We would have no communication for weeks, and then have workers show up without notice to start work we had not approved. At each meeting, there was an exaggerated amount of (insincere) accommodations that was met with little follow through. There was not a lack of communication; there was disregard for what we communicated.

Our problems were not with the workers. They were always polite and respectful, and mostly cleaned up after themselves. We also had a very positive experience with the woodworker/craftsman they sent to address issues with our door frames and window sills. Our experience with him was the most affirming part of the project.

In our final interaction, the entire management team showed up without an appointment and, with what felt like an intimidating exchange, stated they were there to tie up loose ends, collect payment, and be done with us. Although half-hearted apologies and excuses designed to placate were offered and passed around, they were never fully owned. We are mostly pleased with the overall completed project, but the process to get to that outcome was labored, stressful, frustrating and unsatisfying. We would clearly never recommend or use their services again.

I used to be a builder, and I know that quality exterior work can only be assessed after its seen some weather. So this review is not only of the work at the time that it was done, but the work after two years of extreme Nashville weather.

The verdict: Music City Exteriors is an outstanding company. Jeff Thorne did everything right, from communication, to dealing with our insurance company, to ensuring his crew did quality work. They tore off and roofed our house in a single day, and when they were done my yard was so clean that it barely looked like they were there (if you know roofing, you know that's impressive). After two years, the roof looks great and has weathered some hard storms with zero problems. If you need a new roof, give these guys a call.

I could not be more pleased with the job done by Music City Exteriors. They were professional, efficient, and thorough from start to finish. After the Nashville tornado, I watched Music City Exteriors roofing across the street, while another company worked next door. The difference was amazing... I got their number and scheduled an appointment right then. From that point, I put my total trust in them to do the job right, and I was not disappointed. They did an excellent job replacing my roof, repairing the siding, painting my house, installing new gutters, and putting in new garage doors. I would highly recommend Music City Exteriors.

The owner of this company showed up to my house the day of the tornado in March of 2020....and he stuck with me through all of the restoration. My house looks better than ever. We could not be more pleased with how they stood by us and made everything better than it was before the tornado. I’m just just so thankful!

Very Responsive, came out fast and provided an estimate quickly. We were scheduled and completed faster than expected. Price was fair and reasonable and I will definitely use them again for any Exterior Job I can. I highly recommend Music City Exteriors for all your roofing needs, BIG or small, they're the ones to call!!! We are in the Spring Hill area.

They did the things you want most from a contractor (and yet are seemingly so hard to find): a. They fixed the problem (in my case a leaking bay window with flashing issues) and got it right the first time. b. They quoted me a price that did not change throughout finalizing the agreement nor during the work. c. They came on time and brought who and what they needed to get the job done. With the housing boom in Nashville, lots of smaller jobs have fallen to handymen - the results can very wildly, but getting anything less than a huge remodel done by a bigger crew can be impossible to schedule - in both cases professionalism is lost. But that is exactly what I got from MCE, which I really appreciate. Probably not the cheapest, but worth it to be treated like a valuable customer and not a fill-in for a slow day.

I am so happy with the job Music City Exteriors has done with our roof. They showed up when they said, unheard of nowadays! Anthony, the foreman is very nice and runs a great crew! We just filed a claim about 1 - 1 1/2 weeks ago and they were on my roof at 7:45am today! Wonderful job, HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!! My insurance adjuster even commented on how easy they are to work with and how reasonable they were on their pricing!

Bruce was always quick to respond, gave a great estimate, and is friendly and professional. He never seemed to mind explaining things to me and then again to my husband once he was able to discuss what needed to be done to repair our roof. We received a fair estimate and are very happy with the results.

My dental office suffered storm damage. I called Music City Exteriors and Jeff was very quickly on the scene. He explained what it would take to completely rectify the roof problem. Weather was on it’s way but Jeff and his team sprang into action, removing the entire roofing and completely replacing new shingles. I really believe Jeff called in more than one team in order to complete the task in just one day. This quick action prevented any rain on the exposed roof. I asked Jeff how he was able to accomplish this feat and his reply was, “we do what it takes to take care of our customers “. I like that, Music City Exteriors will always be my go to company when in need again. I Love my new roof, not one problem since.

Jeff Thorne's Music City Exteriors repaired THE RIGHT WAY a flashing and roof issue that other companies had bungled. Another roofing company had "repaired" this two years before with caulk and two by fours, absolutely garbage, and because I was not there to get up on the roof and check their work, took advantage of my inability to see what they did. In addition, they charged me more money than Music City Exteriors, who did the job correctly, and beautifully, and with the highest quality materials. They cut out and replaced rotted sheathing around the chimney, used "the good stuff" self adhesive (sorry I can't remember what this stuff is called) and the thick, high quality metal flashing, and replaced shingles, and made sure everything was water tight the way it should be done. Their craftsmanship on my job was flawless. His workers were prompt, they used the best quality materials, cleaned up after the work was done, and charged a fair price for an exemplary job. I highly recommend them.

Not pushy, easy to work with, fair pricing and was always available when a question needed answering. The only negatives are relatively minor. I’m still occasionally finding a nail or two on the ground, and an inexpensive landscape light that was damaged could not be permanently repaired. Would highly recommend Music City Exteriors.

Jeff Thorne, the owner, was at my house on the very same day I called for an estimate on the damage to my roof. He was very professional and personally involved throughout the process. He worked with my insurance company and negotiated with them on damages that they initially didn’t want to pay. He, his crew and his subcontractors were timely and clean. As I’ve told anyone that would listen, if there wasn’t a new roof and gutters on my house when I got home, I would have never known the contractors had been there.
