We recently hired Murphy Roofing to replace our roof and our guttering due to wind & hail damage. We don't trust many companies therefore we did a lot of research before choosing Murphy. Communication was great, friendly, answered our questions prior to hiring. They are very reasonably priced. On time, worked hard, no messing around and finished job quickly. They did a great job hauling the old off and cleaning up. They didn't try to push us into anything that wasn't necessary. We have had a lot of rain since the installation and not one leak. We are very pleased and will hire them again if ever needed.

5 stars all the way! Professional service from estimating, on site work ethic, material type quality/ procuring and property housekeeping. I had a split level home with small shed completed in one less than a one day period. Came home to a clean property and wouldn’t have even know they were there other than the beautiful new roofs. Larry and Chris Murphy have done a few repairs on my roof over the years, so when we decided to replace the roof this year, Murphy Roofing was the obvious choice.
I'm so glad we picked them. Always prompt, always called to keep us aware of scheduling changes because of rain. The entire job took 1.3 days, the clean up was very thorough, the crew were pleasant and helpful, and the price was very reasonable.

We had hail damage and thought we needed a new roof. We were recommended to call Murphy Roofing. Chris Murphy came out and we have to say he really knows his business. We set up a time for a new roof and they came exactly when they said they would be here. They covered the shrubs and patio furniture. They started at 6:30 a.m. and finished the same day at 7:30 p.m. Everything was put back in place. The yard and walkways were cleaned off to the point it looked like they were never here. My wife and I could not be happier with Murphy Roofing. We would certainly recommend them to anyone without reservation!!

If you are looking for a trustworthy roofing company you need not look any further than Murphy & Sons Roofing. Our family has used Murphy Roofing for over 20 years. I wouldn't consider anyone else. No job is too big or too small. We have had the misfortune of having tornado and hail damage on multiple properties over the years and Murphy & Sons has always taken care of us. They are quick to return calls for any reason, quick to give an estimate, and always patient with any questions we may have. The quality of work is outstanding! The team of roofers that come out to do the job are always kind, respectful, and take great pride in making sure my house and property are left in perfect condition. Wish I could give them more than a 5 star rating.

Murphy’s Roofing replaced the roof on my house and large outbuilding. The house has a steep 12/12 pitch roof and is 2.5 stories high. I’ve roofed several buildings in the past but this project was much too difficult for one man to handle. With experience in the trade, I knew what I wanted done and had concerns about several areas on the roof I’ve had issues with in the past. Murphy’s listened to my concerns and we came up with a plan that they carried out perfectly. Very happy with all the work done and they did exactly what they said they would do. Communication was good and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them to anyone.

Good experience from start to finish. Chris and his team walked us through the process and kept in contact with us. The installation crew worked hard and did a great job.

They do an exclusive job of cleaning my gutters. They also make sure all gutter connections are secure. I have been using their services for years and highly recommend the business.

The roofing company did great job and gave me left over shingles if I ever need for the future. BUT, the gutter company they contracted out to replace guttering that had to be replaced due to rotted fascia was unprofessional in their approach of replacing the fascia and painting the fascia properly. The lead man, not owner, thought it was good idea to get bold by stating he’s neither a carpenter or a painter! If I didn’t need new fascia in certain areas, the old guttering would not need replaced!! When he got too close like he was being threatening was when I set him straight by cussing him out which seemed to get him to just do the job he was hired to do. Please replace the guttering company that you guys contract out!!!
Updating about the guttering company!! I noticed a downspout was clogged. Climbed up on my ladder to discover the fasteners they used were stopping stuff from going down the spout. I clipped the ends of the screws and filed them down to alleviate the screws from catching debris. While up there I noticed several fasteners not screwed in and one was screwed too far!! Needless to say I’m irate at the guttering company. I hope Murphy is not using this guttering company anymore!! I called to have the roofing company to inspect the shoddy work. I will write another update.
Another update: Larry Murphy came out and saw the guttering fastener issues and screwed in the fasteners which straightened the guttering. They still use the same guttering contractor so customers be aware

Just had my roof replaced yesterday . Very happy the roof appears to be high quality . The work was done in very good timing they were fast and very professional. They cleaned up very nicely. I’m one happy customer will recommend to all my friends. The roof looks amazing. The price was very good.

Great experience with this company. Scheduling was very easy, the new gutters look phenomenal, and I love that Trent introduced himself the day of install. It gave the project a personal touch. The installers were also friendly, professional and efficient. I’m very appreciative of them cleaning up afterwards and I’m surprised they were finished so fast.

I felt this was an excellent choice from the beginning. Initial check of roof determined issues the insurance company hadn't noted. Excellent communication with both myself and the insurance company. Top quality material, installation was timely and professional. Not excited to have to replace the roof, but glad I called Murphy to get it done.

Very pleased with their work. They were here when they said they would be and and were done in no time.
The only reason I gave 4 stars, rather than 5, was they broke my TV antenna, but also didn't install the mast back on the roof.

They were very fair w/estimate. Work was done when promised and if the weather would have cooperated would have finished the same day. Clean-up was perfect and I would use them again although I hope I don't have to. Professional and courteous. Thanks

Excellent removal and installation of our new roof and gutters. They also recommended gutter screens on our new gutters. They have worked beautifully! Kept all our neighbors maple leaves out of our gutters!

These guys did a great job repairing my roof with eight new shingles and sealed 3 pipe boot roof vents I had sticking out through the roof that needed to be shingled in. He did it for a reasonable price to where other companies wanted over a grand to do it.

On time and quality service. The guys were all business and Mark asked me several questions regarding install items to makes sure everything was done meeting our needs. I would give 10 Stars if I could. High quality shingles. Great selection of colors. Their service was outstanding. My roof looks amazing. Their cleanup was perfect. They went out of their way to put a couple patches on my roof on Saturday even though they were going to replace the roof in a couple of days in case of rain (which it did). I have a good sized roof and not only did they tear off and replace the old shingles. They replaced all the vents, added 2 bathroom vents, installed a ridge vent, and put down a new ice dam barrier in 1 day. Amazing work! Honestly you can hire Murphy & Sons and kick your feet up and not worry about if you hired the right company. You did.

Sent an email for roof inspection recently from a wind storm on a Sunday. I knew I had shingles off. They answered my email Mon morning and was repaired same day. Pretty impressed

I had the most amazing experience, everyone was so professional and nice and early and on time. When work was finished, they cleaned the area exceptionally, I would hire them over and over again, excellent work, they are the best.

The crew showed up early to begin the work. They removed the roof on both the house and shed and had them completed by 1 pm the same day. I have used them twice now in the last 15 years and the quality of work and cleanup has been the same both times. Will use them again if I ever need a roof repaired.

I had used another local company a few years back when my roof needed replaced 2 times in 3 years due to hail damage. I had the other company install a 30 year Timberline Roof the second time. As you can imagine I was not happy when shingles started blowing off my roof, my roof was not even 10 years old. The other roofing company did come out after I would call but there was never any sense of urgency on their part. Well after feeling like I was getting the run around for 3 years I called Murphy & Sons Roofing. Everyone that I have spoken with and worked with at Murphy & Sons Roofing has been amazing. The Murphy Family is so easy to work with. When I called I spoke with Chris Murphy explained what was going on and Chris was right out to take a look. I was at work and as soon as he inspected my roof he let me know I needed to contact my insurance company right away. The insurance adjuster found large sections of my shingles that could be lifted off the house with just his hand. He did say there was evidence of some hail damage but his bigger concern was with the improper install of my current roof. I got ahold of Chris with Murphy & Sons Roofing. Chris again did a great job of helping me pick out a roof & gutter color that would match great with the new rock on the front of my home. A week later my son and I went out of town for a week long vacation. 3 days into our vacation my daughter was over at the house and noticed that a large section of shingles was missing from the north-east corner of the home over one of the bedrooms. Of course Kansas was still having storms with high winds in early July. I was in Texas and called Chris asking if they could send someone out and tarp that area of the roof to prevent more damage and Chris came through for me again. Then the best news of all came shortly after returning from vacation. On July 15th or 16th I received the phone call from a nice lady at Murphy and Son's letting me know that materials were going to be delivered the next Tuesday morning around 8:00 am and they would be out shortly after to begin replacing my roof and gutters. This was weeks earlier than I expected. After the roof and gutters were replaced several of my neighbors called and stopped by to let me know how much they really liked the color of the roof I had chosen and how well it went with the rock I had put on the house the end of last year. I told them Chris with Murphy & Sons really deserved the credit for picking the perfect color of roof. The old roof was a very dark color. I had narrowed it down to two I like from the samples to match the rock and let Chris make the final call. My neighbors were also very impressed with how the whole tear off of the old roof, repair of damaged wood, new roof install and gutter replacement on the house and shop were completed very timely. Murphy & Son's Roofing will be the only company I will ever use for roofing again!

When our roof developed a leak, Murphy & Sons were quick to inspect and give their estimate. We scheduled the roof replacement for about a month later, and once work began it was finished within 8-10 hours spread across two days. The work appears to be high quality and we're thrilled to have our new roof!

I called Murphy and Sons Roofing, Inc and they came out to look at my roof for hail and wind damage. He was honest in his assessment and gave me a bid for two portions of my roof and also followed up with a mailed bid. His bid was very reasonable and I am keeping his card for further use on our roof since our insurance felt it did not need a new roof at this time.

The Murphy’s were very responsive when I called for an appointment. I just prefer to use hometown companies who have established businesses who will be here. Chris gave me an estimate and then came out and met with my insurance adjuster to make sure they both saw the same damage.
We have used Murphy previously and received very good service. After watching other companies in our neighborhood after the hail storm, it just confirmed that Murphy’s have very good crews who do the work as if they also are doing family work.
Hope we don’t have any more storms but, if we need help, we will definitely call them back out.

The roof was fine. Just be careful because there is a 4% convenience fee if you use a credit card. In a world where more people don’t have checkbooks and electronic funds seem to be normal than 25 years ago, that’s a very high fee. Also the workmen may use the restroom in an empty field. Just saying......

This is the second project I have had Murphy & Sons Roofing complete and will continue to use them for all of my needs. Very responsive, quick turnaround and very flexible.

Excellent service, entire roof remove old shingles install new shingles new vents clean up run magnets for nails etc and were gone in six hours looks great and new gutters installed on another day about 3 hours for that all looks great!
