Muller Exteriors came to my house to help solve my gutters problem. Aldo was very professional and courteous. I’ve been using the company since 1999.

I had my roof replaced by Muller Exteriors due to hail damage, and I couldn't be more impressed with the entire experience. David was my main point of contact and was absolutely fantastic to work with. He handled everything with the insurance company, which made the process incredibly smooth and stress-free for me.
The turnaround time was quick, and the crew did a great job not only on the roof itself but also in keeping the area around my house clean throughout the project. Highly recommended!

David and Aldo came out to our home very shortly after we called for a venting/water problem in our attic. They walked us through the problem and the fix in detail and were very quick to provide a quote. Both were very receptive to any questions. David gave a very fair price, and they were out within a week to fix the problem. Both were very professional. I would like in particular to commend Aldo. When he finished the job he walked us through, showed us in detail everything that he did, and cleaned everything up nicely. Special kudos to Aldo, great guy!. The whole experience was excellent. Aldo did a great job on repairing our gutters/guards in order to keep out nesting birds. He took the time to design something from scratch and explained to me what it would look like afterwards. When requesting a consultation for repairs on our roof, Josè came by and was able to provide a quote for the repair and quickly turn around the job for us! Refreshing to find a roofing company who doesn’t automatically recommend a whole new roof and instead quotes the honest job. Very happy with the result.

I was not familiar with this company at all but it was recommended to be from another roofing company. I am so pleased that I went with Muller and I have to say Dave and Ashley were great to deal with. They repaired the flashing around my chimney and I did ask them to do a quick inspection of the rest of the roof. I kind of half expected them to say the roof was in terrible shape but, they were honest and let me know the roof was still in good shape and probably within the next couple years it may need some repair. I can tell you, when it does need repair I will be calling Muller again to do the job.
They were affordable and completely honest with me, the two things that are very important to me. Thank you so much!!!

Very disappointed with Muller. I contracted with them to do three things..

1) Install new gutters: They installed the gutters but when I checked, they left the screws going through where the gutter and downspout attach and now debris in the gutters gets clogged before draining in downspout. I asked them to come back and snip off the screws so they don't catch debris and they refused.

2). They were suppose to replace one shingle on the roof. Never did the job.

3). I had them replace the post on the house that runs through the roof where the electrical line attaches. They did that but they also left a cut cable wire and they ran that through the roof again. Clearly the cable wire was abandoned yet they still ran it up and through the roof making a hole in the roof for no reason.

Muller has many good reviews and not sure why every item I wanted them to do was wrong. I wasn't even upset with the mistakes. I just asked them to come back and make it right and they wouldn't. I think that says a lot about a company.

My wife and I were more than satisfied with the installation of vinyl siding and wrap on all windows and doors.
Our old farmhouse was definitely in need of a "facelift" and the Muller personnel outdid themselves, down to the smallest detail.
We now have a "brand new" old house, something to be proud of!

I had a leaking window due to the previous homeowner not cleaning the gutters.

Muller came in with a reasonable quote and fixed the original structure. Showed me where additional damage I had not accounted for and then fixed it. Honestly, this portion of my house will outlast the rest LOL.

From start to finish Muller Exteriors were responsive, professional and thorough. David answered all of my questions (and I had a lot) and fought for us throughout the insurance claim process. His crews were detailed and showed pride in their work. They worked through some of the hottest days of the summer and did a fantastic job overall. Called to have a job quoted. Apt time was supposed to be 2pm but didn't show up until 2:45. No big deal, I realize a quote doesn't take priority over a current paying project. He took a bunch of pictures and said we would have the quote with options on Thursday or Friday. The following Monday still no quote so I called and left a message with their answering service with my name, address and email. Nothing back on Tuesday so I called and left a detailed voicemail on Dave Jr. cell phone to please call me. Wed - still no return call or quote. This is truly disappointing. I always try to support a family owned local business but I'm not begging to give anyone my money either. Completely confused after 3 attempts at contacting your company why nobody could be bothered to call me back. I found another company who came out immediately and did a great job - lack of follow up seems to have come up in multiple negative reviews for your company. You might want to call customers back even if you aren't interested in the job - not sure if that was the case here or not but it's courtesy to get back to people, especially a prospective first time customer.

The entire Muller team was amazing! Ashley was easy to get in touch with, and the installer was kind, thorough, and worked his butt off in the middle of a rain storm to get our gutters up. They are beautiful, totally affordable, and make my house look amazing!

Muller resided my house complete with gutters, fascia and door and window installation. Their estimator and “site boss” , Rob, supervised every detail to perfection. Our home looks like a brand new build. A couple who hasn’t seen the house for a couple of years asked for our builders name! They thought we tore the house down and rebuilt. Professional, skilled craftsmen- easy to work with. We can’t say enough about the outstanding job they did.

Used the company for purchase and installation of gutter guards. Rob was great to work with. Installation scheduled quickly and we’ll done.

Severe winds blew some siding off our house. When I called for help, someone came within 24 hours to inspect the damage. Repair was prompt and well done. We also appreciated the professionalism of the person doing the repairs.

They came out to check on a leak in our roof. They charged us nothing and told us exactly what we needed to do to fix the roof ourselves without having a fee. That saved us soooo much money and extra time. I would recommend them in an instant because of their knowledge, transparency, and friendly nature. We will do business with them in the future for sure.

Muller Exteriors installed Leaf Solution gutter covers on my new gutters. Not only did they give me the best price, but they were very responsive, did the job promptly, and I am very pleased with their workmanship.

Well, in an odd year, I had the occasion of using Muller Exteriors a 2nd time! I had my house siding and gutters done, with a sliding door over the summer. When we got a hail storm come through, I called them again. Fortunately, the siding and gutters were ok, but the roof and skylights had some damage.
It's great to have someone like David Muller Jr come out and assess the damage. He also came out to review the damage with the insurance adjuster so the professionals could work it out together. He was there to explain how the insurance worked, deal with the insurance claim, and his team was ready to do the replacement the following week.
What I expected to be a stressful, confusing process was all streamlined with their professionalism and communication. I can't thank them enough!

Muller installed my tear off and new gutter installation. Upon selling my house, almost 2 years later, the inspector noted a roof issue and Dave Jr came out under warranty, fixed it, plus another issue that wasn't related to the roof and would not take any compensation. That is customer service!

Dave mueller Sr and Jr are fantastic. They are knowledgeable and friendly. Their staff is fantastic. They put a new roof, new gutters, repaired a rotted chimney, installed new windows, and new siding along with brick work. I saw his entire Staff and they were professional and went the extra mile!!!

I had Muller Exteriors replace some cedar window trim on several windows of my home. Not only did they do a fantastic job, they went above and beyond the call! They asked me up front what color the stains was and they pre-stained the trim before they replaced it. In addition, they asked for touch up paint for my hardy board siding and when they were through they re-caulked and touched up the siding. This is the second time I have used Muller and I was completely satisfied both times. Very reasonably priced and excellent craftsmanship.

About a month ago I contacted Muller to look a roof leak that was causing dripping in my second floor. They told me that chances are the cause is an ice dam, so they were able to get someone out the next day to rake the roof of snow in that area. I asked if they can inspect the roof/attic, and they told me they can once the snow on roof melts. A few weeks later I called and scheduled to have someone come out to look. The roof, I was told, wasn't in too bad of shape, but because they found hail damage on the roof, gutters and skylight I was told we could probably have insurance cover the replacement of aforementioned items. However, I was told not to call my insurance agent until they get back to me later that day with additional information. This part of the experience wasn't bad at all.

Three days go by and I still haven't heard anything, so I contacted the office and they took my name and number and said someone will get back to me. Another few days go by and still haven't heard from anyone, so I called again. The lady told me she'll pass along my contact information to the owner and I'll get a call back. Still nothing. Thought I would try to send them a message from their website to see if I'd have better luck. I politely asked if someone would contact me or at least let me know if this is a job they can't/won't do so at least I could reach out to another roofing company. It's been another few days since my message without anyone contacting me. My only guess is that companies that do roofing hate dealing with insurance companies, which is why they want to avoid the job. Still, don't bring that up as a possible solution or at least let me know if it's a job they can't take on right now. I'm sure they do legit work, but for the life of me can't understand how a reputable company just doesn't get back to someone. I worked in sales myself, and certainly not how I would treat a potential customer. I'm all for giving the benefit of the doubt, but after a week and a half have passed, that's where it ends.

Finally -- an exterior company that actually knows what customer service is! I had a small gutter project that no one would even call me back about. Muller (Rob) called me back immediately and got the job done asap. Because of this, i have an enormous amount of additional exterior work that needs to be done on the house and Muller will absolutely get my business. Amazing that there are firms like Muller still left in the world. No hesitation recommending Muller to anyone.

Muller replaced and painted all our wood siding. They did an excellent job. The house looks so great. From the quote to the actual work everyone was wonderful. We also used them prior to replace some metal siding on the top of a roof peak, we could not find anyone to complete the job because of how high the roof is. Would definitely recommend.

I have hired Muller Exteriors for multiple projects on my home over the past 6 years. The work included the following: new roof, roof maintenance, new doors, new windows, & attic vents. I have found them easy to work with, prompt, efficient, and professional. They are accommodating, neat & pleasant.

We were recommended to Muller Exteriors from professionals in the trade that said our particular roof (specialized exterior roof insulation panels) was not something they could take on. We received a fair quote from David and he worked within our budget. The entire Muller team was outstanding. They were very professional and I was confident in their work. They really know what they are doing. The team put in some long days in extreme heat and got the job done on time--just as promised. We are very happy with the new roof, the foam insulation, skylights, gutters and fascia. Great job guys and we will see you again when we are ready for the other roofing project!

Ended up using Muller to replace twice damaged hail damaged roof. The first contractor replaced all flashing but Muller did not. Even challenged Dave on that but he said it was not necessary. Mistake as it looks like Cxxxx now a few years later.

Had Muller install a new Sliding Door. Poor quality low-cost product installed, and has been problematic ever since, and needs to be replaced.

This time around the dryer vent louvers Muller installed well within the warranty period failed. Called several months ago to the main phone number and like other people who have provided reviews, I had no response.

Finally got around to sending in another request this time using the website. This time the response was immediate. Muller came out and replaced what should have been under warranty but suggested I post a Google Review in return for a no cost invoice.

Just received another pushy email from Dave the owner reminding me to post a Google Review or else to expect to receive an invoice.

Well...here is my most honest and humble review of your services over time, your customer service posture to me, your warranty response, and my personal experiences in our Supplier/Customer Relationship.

Customer Service and Quality Services are Key and the voice of customer is real. Lets see if I now receive an invoice for posting an open and honest Google Review.

We had a bad leak in our roof that rotted out a window and a big patch of drywall in our kitchen ceiling. We had several roofers come out to look at it, but nobody wanted to do a full inspection or even get on the roof.

Then, we called Muller Exteriors in Lake Zurich. Dave Muller came to our home, did a full inspection, came up with a detailed, sensible plan, talked to our insurance agent, and went to work.

Mullers Exteriors team was hard-working, very knowledgeable, punctual and polite. I have to admit that working with us was not super easy because the roof leak had caused a lot of damage. But, the Muller team walked us through everything calmly and patiently and answered all of our questions.

I highly recommend Muller Exteriors in Lake Zurich. You'll get great work at a fair price by a knowledgeable and dedicated team.

Muller came to my house to check a gutter leak. The fix was so easy that they didn’t even charge me! I recommend them for gutters and windows. Honest. Neat. Punctual. They were a referral from a friend who had all of her windows replaced by Muller.

Based on a recommendation, I reached out to Muller Exteriors to evaluate and possibly replace our cedar shake roof. Our experience has been outstanding! Dave Muller conducted a comprehensive analysis of possible roof damage and assisted in convincing our insurer to fully cover replacement of the roof. He offered excellent advice and helped us select the proper materials. His installers were thorough and meticulous. Although we were unable to be at the house while the work was being done, Dave kept us up to date of their progress with pictures and regularly communicating with us. I worked with David Muller Jr. on redoing the roof of out 8-unit apartment building, he was a pleasure to work with.

We took about 4 bids and Mueller's wasn't the lowest or the highest, but after speaking with David and e-mailing back and forth we choose their company.

Noticed the skylight in our master bath had been leaking. Called Muller about a replacement and one of the owners visited promptly. Their supplier misquoted the cost, but Muller Exteriors honored the quote. The installation was painless and we upgraded to a skylight that opens, along with blinds to block the hot sun in the summer months. David Jr. was a pleasure to deal with!

I just had my roof and gutters replaced by Muller Exteriors, and I am completely satisfied with the job. They gave me a fair price, used excellent materials, and their installation workmanship was top notch. The time to complete was fantastic as well. I had a small problem (one of my shingles blew off) which prompted me to quit stalling and get my roof replaced. David Jr. came out the same day I called, made a temporary repair for free, and had a fair quote in my hands that night. Rob Kutches, was the person I worked with, top notch he explained what they would do and the window installers where early on installation day and completed the job on time inspite of the rain. Fantastic experience. After having a very windy day in January we heard quite a lot of flapping and noise from our roof. We assumed it was a shingle that had gotten loose. I conducted a quick search online for local roofing companies and got Muller Exteriors and saw how highly rated they were. They're among one of the most professional companies I've ever dealt with regarding these sorts of repairs. Very understanding and reasonable. We appreciate their timely responses and effective work and we intend on utilizing their services from now on.

I contacted Muller after I found shingles in my backyard after a wind storm. They promptly came out to investigate and provide a quote. Once it was determined that it was a minor repair, not involving an insurance claim, communication regarding scheduling became a major issue. After repeated messages and phone conversations over a period of several weeks, I called another local firm who made the repairs within 2 days. There was an additional window framing project for which I still have never received a quotation following a visit to scope out the work. this is also being handled promptly by another local contractor. I would give 0 stars if the system allowed for it.

After the hail storm in April 2014, we used Dave & Dave Jr. from Muller Exterior for all the repairs for our home. Dave honored the cost numbers from our Allstate Insurance inspector and within a few weeks everything was completed (roof, gutters, downspouts, siding & screens). Overall, Muller Exteriors did a nicer job than the company we used from the 2000 hail storm. The roof looked better, the gutters and downspouts were a much better quality material.

The other great thing about using Dave & Dave Jr. is that they are local contractor in Lake Zurich, so if there are any issues down the road (which I don't currently see), I'm confident that it will be corrected.

The Mullers did a fantastic job on my house this summer. I needed a new roof, and other various repairs after hailstorms moved through the area. I called Muller Exteriors, and David Muller Jr. responded very quickly. Within a day or less he came to my house to have a look at the damage and provide an estimate. He was extremely professional, friendly, and new what he was doing. David made sure to be present when the adjustor from my insurance company inspected the damage to make sure the adjustor didn't miss anything. He also followed up with me, and with my insurance company repeatedly to make sure things were moving through the claims process. When the insurance company placed a value on the claim that was too low, David Muller Sr. was on the phone with them on my behalf, explaining all of the costs not being taken into consideration. In the end, the insurance company agreed and paid for all of the repairs. We were so pleased we even had them do some extra work on the house while they were at it. They got the entire job done in 1 day so that we were inconvenienced as little as possible and the result is beautiful. They're local, professional, honest, and very friendly. I would recommend Muller Exteriors without hesitation, and would use them again for anything they do.

Dave and his team did a wonderful job with our replacement windows. This is one of the best home improvement investments we have ever made. Dave explained the various options to us. A team member measured every window in our home to insure a perfect fit. The manufacturer sent the wrong windows the first round; the installers immediately informed us; the appropriate windows were delivered and installed professionally. Because the decorative grills are inside the glass, no more broken grills or grills falling out and needing to be reinstalled. The windows are easy to clean. The post installation follow up was excellent. We have recommended Muller Exteriors to other people who have also been very happy with the results!
