We had an insurance claim to get part of our roof replaced and siding replaced due to storm damage. Aloha was insanely helpful throughout the process and really did go above and beyond for us. Our new siding looks amazing! Their communication was great and the support they lent to us was incredible. The entire process was seamless and quick!

Last May Richard Finney of Aloha Construction discussed the replacement of my 20 year old roof. There was a hail storm a few months previous and there were houses in the neighborhood that had hail damage. Richard inspected my roof from the ground and after pointing out several bad spots, I agreed to have Richard do a more through inspection. I engaged State Farm at that time to have an inspection. Richard and his team leader Vince organized a mutual meet up with Aloha and State Farm. State Farm sent out a 3rd party inspector. The inspector and the Aloha team went up on the roof to inspect for hail damage. While the Aloha team pointed out multiple areas of damage, the 3rd party inspector was in a rush and reported back to State Farm there was only slight damage found. Richard and Vince went to work for me battling state farm to send out another inspector. They were relentless. They knew how to navigate the process and were well aware of State Farm and how they operate. After much back and forth and pushing State Farm, State Farm refused to cover the replacement of my roof. Two doors down, Aloha worked with one of my neighbors that had a different insurance provider and they were able to get a full roof replacement. The roof turned out great. I have heard from multiple roofing contractors that State Farm is notorious for denying claims. As I was not ready to move forward paying for the roof myself at that time, I decided to hold off on the job. I recently engaged Richard and Vince again as my roof has started to leak. It is time to have the roof replaced. Richard and Vince were quick to get me a very competitive quote (in fact it was the lowest). Due to some factors not related to Richard, Vince or Aloha, I did decide to go with other vendor. I do however appreciate the tenacity that Richard had going to battle for me. Richard is great to work with if you get the chance.

I give them one star because 0 stars isn’t an option. Aloha replaced my roof back in June of 2023. They were supposed to come back to do the gutters and they never showed up. They never answered my calls, never answered my insurance representatives, never picked up the check as the representative said he was. I started received invoices January of 2025 for the roof replacement. I contacted them and requested an itemized invoice. They took my information and never sent it. Again, February 2025 they send another invoice. I called them requesting for them to send the itemized invoice I had requested back in January, AGAIN they take my information.. no emails, no phone calls, no itemized invoice! Now March 2025 I receive another invoice!!! This is ridiculous! Worst company ever.. and let’s not mention my father supervised the entire work because they were trying to provide poor quality work! Do not recommend at all!

Storm chasers banking off honest peoples misfortune. They take advantage of you and your insurance to take the profit from the difference of how much it cost to fix a roof and their inflated claim. They don’t even do the roofing/siding etc themselves they subcontract their work to avoid liability. Pretty sketchy. Should avoid all these storm chasers since this is how they all operate, they’re all conmen.

Be aware of this company!!!! They came out to inspect the roof- claimed it was heavily hail damaged, as well as others in our neighborhood. We filed the claim- State Farm denied it. We informed Aloha by phone and asked for follow up and never heard back since- numerous phone calls and they were ghosting us. We have to deal with the consequences now, because State Farm dropped us. Stay away from this company-not reliable nor trustworthy.

In February 2024, after a severe hailstorm, Aloha Roofing came out to assist with communication between myself and my insurance company. Richard, the representative, visited a few times and filed claims for me and several of my neighbors. He mentioned noticing several issues with my roof and claimed to have a 70% approval rate on first submissions and 30% on second submissions.

Richard filed the claim with my insurance (State Farm) on my behalf. However, when the insurance adjuster was scheduled to inspect the property, Richard did not show up as promised. Instead, a contractor came to meet the State Farm agent. Both the contractor and the agent agreed to deny the claim. When I informed Richard, he said he would not pursue a second assessment.

Unfortunately, after filing the claim, State Farm dropped my policy, leaving me with limited options for new coverage. I now pay approximately $1,000 more annually for insurance.

This was an extremely disappointing experience, and I feel let down by the lack of follow-through from Aloha Roofing. Be cautious when considering this company.

We use Aloha (Lake Zurich, IL) to replace the entire roof, and fix the leaking sidewood of the chimney.  The following are what we have.

1.  We signed 2 separate contracts for the job - the primary contract is for the entire roof replacement which is under insurance coverage. The 2nd contract is fixing the leaking /damaged side panel around the chimney out of my own pocket. The claim specialist Jessica did a good job for all the communications for both contracts, processing the claims from the insurance company, roof material selection and all the Misc stuff. Thanks.

2. The primary contract was subcontracted to another local roof company. We had a good experience with it. The 8 person roof team leader - Laurent (from Aloha) did good work leading the team. The old shingles were removed professionally without damaging my yard. The work was completed on-time. The overall results look good. Laurent told me there are 8 pieces of roof plywood that need replacement and they did it promptly.  The team also replaced the chimney flashing, and removed a few pieces of siding to check the status of the leaking side panel around the chimney.

3. Aloha did not have a detailed list on the Primary contract with me for each item/charges. They just work on the items with charges based on the estimation report from the insurance company after the inspection. In my case, there was an item the insurance company paid for, but it turns out this item is not necessary.  Aloha did not find out this until I compared the estimation list and what had been done. I ended up getting back hundreds of dollars from Aloha.

4. I was told there are 4 teams working on the same days for different houses for the roof replacement. Yes, Aloha has a lot of projects and they do use other roof companies as subcontractors. The quality may also depend on what company they are using.

5. My 2nd contract with Aloha was a small job for replacing / repairing Chimney side panels. They did a decent job. However, the scheduling for the job had been an issue. They changed the schedule a couple of times in the last minutes.  This bothers me since they delivered the construction material and left them in my garage days earlier,  and I need to go home from my office to open the garage door, with the last minute notification.

Summary: The overall job quality is decent, but the project management may need improvement. The homeowner may need to check the detail lists for the jobs, and be flexible for the construction date if it is a small project.

Aloha did a great job, everything went as expected. They promptly resolved all issues with my insurance, finished work in one day, their stuff was very helpful and professional. Claim specialist guy, Andres, was very pleasant person to talk to, he clearly explained all the process, was always ready to answer any questions and easy reachable by phone any time. Sales manager, Vince, was a big help after work completion with all final payments and invoices.

We used Aloha to replace roof, siding , window wraps and fascia after hail damage in the fall of 2024. From beginning to end they helped with the Insurance piece and the salesman Richard Finney was very professional, transparent and always available to answer any of my questions all along the process. Not sure where the negative accounts are coming from. Quick eval, work was done on a detached garage roof and my homes siding in less than a month. I was skeptical at first but Jessica and Kevin went above and beyond my expectations and my insurance was fast to reimburse me without me spending a dollar out of pocket.
Work crew was friendly and accomadating whenever needed and even helped me out on another quick project they did not need to.

I have never dealt with such a company, came knocking on the door stating they would handle everything with insurance for hail damage. That statement was false. They were terrible. I had to handle everything. On the day of the job their workers showed up at 6am, not even knocking or introducing themselves, hopping on the roof and starting to work. The whole house was asleep. 2 small children terrified. 4 adults absolutely baffled and confused. ( I asked about the arrival time the day before and was assured 8am at the earliest) 2 months later I started getting bills, each bill different amount. ( that tells you a lot) When I contacted them back stating that they still have part of the work to do as well as correct the bill, they promised to fix it. ( talked to few people, no-one now what is going on, one person has no idea what the other one did or said or what we agreed upon) Now 2 weeks later. again. No one is contacting me, no one wants money. I guess I will start getting bills for different amounts in 2 months again. No wonder they walk door to door. No customer would ever recommend them or come back to them.

Aloha construction is a great company. I had my roof done by them and now I actually work for them.

I just wanted to take a few minutes to tell you about Aloha construction. Kevin,( a rep. for Aloha construction) stopped by my house one day to ask me about my roof during the past hail storm. As usual, I was skeptical. However, he was the 2nd contractor to tell me he could see damage. So I thought we take a chance and see what my insurance co would do. Right then and there Kevin called my insurance, put in a claim, and away we went.
I couldn't believe it. In a few days Aloha came out and so did my insurance adjuster. Everyone was on board and worked together.
Before I could blink my roof was being replaced. 1 day it was done. Now here's the kicker, the next day my gutters and downspouts were being replaced.
I'm telling you, Kevin did it, and he did it with great care and concern for me.

Was driving on the highway when the company truck was not letting merge lanes and was flicking me off, kept going slow if I was behind them, all I was trying to do was switch lanes since they were going 65 in the left lane. I had my kid in the back seat and I don’t appreciate that. Then when we got off on the same exit they blew the red light to make sure they got in front of me again. Called the number when I looked up the company and the lady handled it very well and was vey professional and nice. She is the only reason I’m giving it two starts instead of 1.

Stay away very unprofessional, poor quality of work… they also shady… before they started I had a bad feeling about them, wanted to cancel agreement but they put wrong date on the contract my roof is ugly after that put a new roof my old roof was looking so much better very unhappy with there job there is cracks between wall and roof there is bumps on shingles some shingles is popping off also price is way too high $$$ there boss Brad come up today and said that it’s not their fault that cracks in between wall and roof because some one else did mistake when they put siding but before them it was perfectly fine looking and there was no cracks he said I need to change my siding and he said it would cost me another $15000 this is insane they do ugly job charge over $13000 and I had to fix it

He had some storm damage to our roof in both the house and garage. So we called Aloha to have them repair it. We had the misfortune of dealing with Brad and RJ at Aloha. Rather than being upfront and telling us that they only do installs not repairs. Brad and R.J. said that R.J. will be our representative and deal with our insurance company. After R.J. came out to look at the damage he said that the roofs should be replaced and we have storm damage to our siding as well. He convinced us that he can work with our home insurance company and get them to cover both the roof and siding. After months of R.J. and the insurance going back and forth. Our insurance company sent a letter and a check stating that only the missing shingles and damaged pieces of siding are to be replaced and they provided a check for those repairs. R.J. assured us that the siding and roof shingles are no longer available and our insurance company has a match policy that if they can't match it they will replace the whole roof and siding with the siding they carry. So more time goes by and meanwhile it's getting colder and colder still no new roof or siding. After a number of calls not being returned . We finally spoke to a different person at Aloha Jim. He is great he took ownership of the poor customer service from Brad and R.J. . He said R.J. is no longer with Aloha. He explained to me that the insurance will not sign off on a replacement roof which we originally called about and the siding. He also explained that Aloha does not do repairs they install only. This was the only time anyone mentioned that to us. So Jim said if I can get out insurance to replace the roof Aloha can't help us. So I talked to a rep at my insurance company and they said from the inspection and subsequent pics the roof only needs repair of the missing or damaged shingles and not replacing and the same goes for the siding. I then contacted Jim at Aloha and let him know what our insurance said and asked to be released from our contact with Aloha which Jim promptly did. Jim Aloha is fantastic. It's too bad that we didn't speak with Jim months prior. We would have moved on and got someone else that repairs roofs and siding to repair them. We would have had the necessary repairs complete long ago instead of scrambling to get it done.

I worked with Reggie to get my siding roof and gutters replaced. He worked with our insurance directly so I just needed to check in a few times — they all worked quickly and we’re professional.

Disturbing the neighborhood till sunset with noise when people want to come home and relax after working all day. They have their employees blocking people's driveways with their trucks and yelling over their cell phones for hours in front of their home like they own the neighborhood. Had Mike S come to my home to check my roof and after some damage after a storm. I needed a full replacement. They did great quality work and great communication throughout the process.

Aloha has the BEST TEAMS we have ever worked with! We had a roof leak and were denied by insurance; that same day Alohas *** shows up at our door and took over for us what a blessing! We ended up getting a new roof and new siding due to hail damage. Alohas workers were here about 5 hours and we had our roof replaced and cleaned up very impressive. Few weeks later our Siding was ripped off and new siding installed in one workday!! Extremely impressive! I am having a very bad experience with this company. They actually came to my house and stated that there is a hail damage and we can get the roof re-installed with insurance. To be frank they did an very shady job with the roof installation. Soon after the installation I noticed that there was a leavege from the attic and water was dripping down on my garage, When I called them to check on the problem, they production team and just looked at the leakage and stated that my siding of my house is not installed properly and I would need to change the siding of my entire house. In order to confirm I consulted an 2 another roof companies. Both of them confirmed that splash siding were destroyed by the installation. I had shared the pictures iof siding with Aloha and they are telling me that when they installed roof the siding was good and this was caused due to something else. The leak started to happen after the first rain with new install of the roof and still they are not ready to take the responsibilty.

Being a house owner you just got a new roof installed and after the first rain it started leaking who should I be reach out??

The manager to whom I talked literally called me sch---g on phone. Wow what a customer friendly company.

We had our roof installed via this Company and we are extemely dissatisfied with the work they did.
They will come knock on your door and start to explain things and ask to sign some papers. Soon they would make a call to Insurance company and file a claim.

Had a bad hail damage at my grandmothers house. Aloha came out the same day I called. I worked with a great sales rep named Brad. I thought the damage to my roof was just normal ware and tear. Aloha informed me of the storms in the area recently. I was able to get a brand new roof, siding and all interior spill over fixed under 1 claim. Only having to pay my deductible!
They have an interior company that works side by side with them Aloha Restoration, this made the process practically seamless.

Would highly recommend giving a call to these guys next time your in predicament!

These guys did a real nice job replacing my roof, skylights & gutters. They were very fast & the most important clean. They cleaned up everything. No debris left behind at all. Great job Aloha! Thank you!

Incredibly disappointed with the unprofessional, inappropriate, and borderline deceptive business practice of Aloha and in particular the individual we dealt with.

First, the person came out and provided clearly false claims of damage; this after the fact that he had the audacity to say he created this industry. In addition to this he made several off color comments about myself but more infuriating my wife.

Initially he was constantly reaching out, that quickly stopped once my insurance company provided their findings. He claimed to be an expert and advocate for the customer, instead he stopped communicating and quickly disappeared once I asked for his report to submit to the insurance company. The only one unwilling to be transparent was him / Aloha.

I shared this experience with several neighbors who had identical experiences with the same individual. In efforts to protect our community, I am going to raise this to our HOA and have them barred from soliciting uninitiated business in our community. If I was this business over I would take drastic measures to review the staff working for them; they are an embarrassment to their trade and give other great companies in this industry a bad rap.

A salesperson came to my door and took over before I knew what was happening, they were on the phone before I knew it with my insurance company and told to sign something without even knowing or being explained what it was. Very poor professionalism. I dealt with two people from the organization and both had incredibly bad responses to the situation.

I highly recommend Aloha Construction for your roof, gutter and siding replacement. I worked with several of Aloha's team members including Vince, Richard, Reggie and Stewart. They were all very experienced and knowledgeable. They were respectful, professional and maximized my claim settlement which exceeded my expectations. If you need to replace your roof and siding, I would definitely consider using Aloha construction.

Hi my name is Camilo I live in Geneva IL and Niko, stop by my house to tell me, that his company could replace my roof, I had a difficult insurance and he fought with them to get everything approved. Best thing was I had no out of pocket expense

I was so nervous, when i noticed the roof leak in my main hallway. No thanks to the large storm in
our area. The damage was done by heavy hail and strong winds. After the a few people came
knocking on my door trying to help my situation, my husband and I settled with the offer from
Vince at Aloha Construction. Him and his team have great follow up skills, not just for the sale, but
with my stubborn Insurance Company it really felt hassle free for us. They worked all the minute
details out and not just fix my leaks and roof damage but we ended up with a practically new roof.
Siding and gutters look so beautiful now. Couldn't have been happier with our decision. i hope to
say, the next storm doesn't stand a chance with our new replacement.

Aloha Construction did an exceptional job on our roof and gutters. My insurance was only going to cover partial coverage but Aloha's team would not allow that and they put in all their effort to get me a full roof replacement. I 100% recommend using this company. A salesman, Mike, along with my insurance adjustor looked at my roof. The adjustor sent me the estimate, which I sent to Mike.
Mike had initially told me that I would not have to pay out of pocket, and no down payment.
I had to keep reaching out to him. Over a month later, in a series of text messages over the course of one day, he went from not paying any deductible, to paying it, to paying $3500 more.
Since my insurance is ACV and more than 15 years old, it wasn't worth their time; but they never had the decency to let me know. Mike gave me a song and dance until I finally texted him over a month later
I do not recommend Aloha Construction.
I now have a good company who is willing to do the work, and he was honest with me on how much out of pocket I would have to pay.

I have used Aloha Construction myself and sent them to work with my family. They have always done a fantastic job on every project that we have worked on. I highly recommend using Aloha Construction for any home project you might have. The process with there employers has always gone very smoothly.

All the employees that serviced the replacement of my roof due to Hail & Wind damage were very knowledgeable and did quality work with quality materials. Rob, the consultant was fantastic. He followed up, stayed in touch, and made sure things were going as planned. He was transparent and made sure I had no unanswered questions. He made sure I understood the process and explained everything well. Rob went above and beyond, some of the best customer service I have ever experienced.

Aloha Construction replaced our roof this Spring. Reggie was wonderful from the inspection to the installation. He guided us through the insurance claim process and was always available to answer any questions. Great experience overall.

We were two months out of our warranty, and our shingles blew off in the front if our house. We called Aloha and they came out the next week and repaired at no cost to me. They didn't tell me what the decision was and just showed up on a Saturday morning. That is the only reason that I can't give them 5 stars.

I want to thank aloha construction for fighting on my behalf for a full roof replacement.. and succeeding. So a really bad storm blew off a lot of shingles on my roof. My insurance tells me that they are only going to pay for repairs. Aloha would not accept that and got the repair turned into a full roof replacement. I want to thank aloha construction for replacing my roof and sliding completely. At first I was a bit skeptical as I was just trying to get some simple repairs , but aloha construction gave a great deal with more than I thought I would and I really appreciate that! I’m glad I decided to give this company a chance ! You guys were amazing and I’m glad you guys knocked on our door! Great quality work! Aloha does not stand behind their work. After having a roof inspection for storm damage we agreed upon a replacement though insurance. The gutters were not covered as they were not damaged, but needed to be removed to do a proper roof install. Aloha had plenty of room to take care of replacement gutters in the roof replacement check, but the install turned out to be of poor quality, not installed properly as the previous gutters they removed were. The gutter issue was not apparent until it started to rain but by then it was winter and they couldn't fix the issue. Finally after some six months on small gutter was repaired, leaving the rest to supposedly be repaired in the future. Now they are refusing the repair. Water is leaking down the wall from the improper install, and getters are not level they are installed on a slant, which is not how the properly installed original ones they removed were installed.

We had a tree fall on our power lines and rip the power lines out. We needed to have the siding, roofing, and gutters replaced. Start to finish the job was done in a week. We never had any issues with the people or the build. Would recommend them 100%

They were quick and professional and love the quality. Our home is quiet and sound and energy efficient! Would recommend this company to anyone. The repairs were done 5 years ago and still top notch!

I won't give you a bad review because that wouldn't be fair, but I'd have a 101 with your employees on not pulling out in front of cars then mocking them when the person who they pulled out in front of gets upset. Maybe remind them that they are a moving billboard with your name all over it. To the Hispanic or possibly Hawaiian guy with the medium cut black hair combed back who pulled out of Aloha construction at about 345 in the blue sliverado... Checkmate.

If we had any questions or concerns, Jessica helped and quickly resolved them. The Aloha team also takes care of all of the paperwork with the insurance company for claim payment.
