Mt. Hood Roof Restoration

I have used Mt. Hood Roof over the years for various repairs, small things but recently had them do a full roof install. They do great quality work, are reliable, timely and always willing to answer my hundreds of questions I really appreciate how friendly the guys are and always clean up the job site each day.

Dan and his crew were all very professional and did absolutely great work! Dan made the whole process of getting a new roof very easy by explaining the different selections and pricing and got the job done in a timely manner and the clean up was spotless as if they were never there at all!

Dan responded right away. We were so happy with the job he did on our first house when we moved and needed another new roof we didn’t even bother calling anyone else! The job done on our roof was incredible! He put in sky lights to add more lighting. He repaired existing sky lights. We were able to choose which roof and color and given options. His crew was efficient and worked hard! There was no mess to clean up they DID IT ALL. On time! Excellent pricing! Would highly recommend!!

They were timely and professional, their estimate was easy to schedule. They replaced my entire roof and were quick with some follow up shingle replacements from the Troutdale winds.

Very professional and gave me great communication. Dan sat down and helped me figure out how I could actually save money! I was thankful for his lack of greediness. I had 4 estimates on my roof and Dan came through with the best price and turn around time even though his schedule was booked. He still made time for me! Had a leaking roof that I needed resolved sooner than later. Dan was able to come out the next day after I called and assess the situation. He was thorough in his inspection lifting shingles and even popped a couple roof vents out to look for possible leaks that could possibly be fixed. After it was determined that there were multiple issues that were affecting leaks and repair would be troublesome to solve problems, I asked for a bid for a complete tear off and installation of new roof. Reroofing in winter is not ideal and living in Troutdale makes this even worse with the wind usually blowing hard when it’s not not raining. I was reluctant but needed a roof. Dan provided an estimate on site with 4 options of roofing material and explained the benefits of each explaining the weight per square which matters in a high wind area. He provided a few options such as roof exhaust vents and showed me how newer products would be an upgrade to what we had previously. He also warned me that there would likely be some plywood replacement needed as roof was soaking through in places and provided a cost as needed for this as well. Took a day to decide and called to get a time booked. Dan scheduled a perfect window of weather with no wind or rain and the crew was able to come in and do a complete roof in three days. They had to replace 15 sheets of soggy plywood and I asked that they replace all the barge boards at peaks with new wood trim since this would be the time to do it. All this was done in three days. Their team was a nice respectful professional crew who definitely were experienced in their craft, cleaned up daily and left things neat and tidy. They also did an excellent job with final clean up when complete and I am a neat freak so this was very much appreciated. Same crew everyday working 8-4:30 which is pretty much daylight to dusk in December. They even bring a trailered toilet and sink for crew to use so they won’t need to find a tree or bush in your yard.
Dan was in touch throughout the project and was there to inspect and pick up any equipment upon completion.
It’s been almost a month and we have had some of the strongest winds in our 30 years living in Troutdale along with a snow storm, freezing rain, more wind and blowing rain. Roof is holding up nicely so far and looks great too. Thanks to Dan and crew at Mt. Hood Roof Restoration. I now have piece of mind that our roof is solid.

Had a leak in my roof. Called them and the roof was fixed within 3 days of getting the estimate. He gave me options on price and extent of repair. Quality was great. They were super quick and cleaned up well after the job. I would use them again.

If there was an option for negative stars I would give it to these people.. My husband and I are new renters in a property. During our moving process we've worked alongside the owner and leasing agent of the property to troubleshoot and fix some of the issues. The property we are renting has skylights that are whistling and humming constantly. The owner and leasing agent told us to correspond and work with Mount Hood roof restoration since they are the ones that previously did the roof. We called to get a timeframe as to when they were to arrive on property, and to simply inform them of the problems we've been having with the skylight. We were met with an astonishing amount of disrespect! They told us to stop calling because we were not the direct owners of the property. The man on the phone actually hung up on my husband before he could ask what time they were gonna be here. I have news for these people... We are the ones paying money to live here. Our personal property is in this home. We have every right to communicate with the people that are working in and on this property. I would not trust them to be on my property! I would not trust them to touch my roof! Absolutely do not use there services. There needs to be consequences for their actions. I hope they lose business.

Very rude people. Shoddy work, and when I called, as a renter of a property, I was met with hostility, and a condescending tone when I identified myself as the renter of a property where they did the roof. I was even hung up on, as I was trying to figure out when they would be at my residence. Very unprofessional, rude, and if you have a sky light, DO NOT USE THEM TO FIX YOUR ROOF!
