It's like Jiffy Lube for my house! Mantis Maintenance has time saving answers to the oversight of my property to keep ahead of things I might miss or just don't have time to keep track of. They have a huge list of items they check and even change my furnace filter, clean out my dryer vent and keep my water softener salt filled (I hate carrying those salt bags to the basement!) among other things.
They do all this for a very reasonable price.
Thank you Mantis Maintenance for giving me some time and peace of mind back!!

I had a great experience with Mantis Maintenance. The demands of running around with our 5 kiddos and owning our business doesn't leave much time to care for all the important things in our home that need regular attention so that we stay safe and our home continues to run smoothly. Just keeping up with fresh batteries in our smoke detectors seems to get put off- and that's not something I want to mess with forgetting! I was happy to find Mantis Maintenance and their subscription option so I can take all that stress off my plate. They tested all my smoke detectors, cleaned my dryer ducts, checked my GCFI outlets and more. They even showed me that my fire kitchen extinguisher was not meant for grease fires and provided me with a better one. John, the owner, was thorough and professional. I would recommend this business in Ames. Especially because I don't think there is another "one-stop shop" like this in town.
