I've used Handyman for over 5 years now. Every experience is professional and I am always satisfied with their work and technicians.

Johnny, the technician assigned to our projects, displayed the broad range of knowledge and skills necessary to complete the work. He fixed a door lock, tightened a toilet paper holder and, most importantly, securely installed safety grab bars in a bathroom and shower where wall studs were few and hard to find. Johnny cleaned up his work areas upon completion of the project. He worked effectively and efficiently. He was respectful of us and our home. Thank you, Mr. Handyman!

We had gotten several outrageous estimates on a door repair but Mr Handyman to the rescue. The job was done in a thoughtful manner. We are so happy with the results and the technician David.

I believe the gentleman’s name was Jose. He came and did some work for us at the Spokane Valley Good Feet. He did great work was fast and efficient. The work was done properly. He was also friendly and personable.

The receptionist Sherry was very kind, and I want to thank her for that! Toni came out and did an exceptional job for me. He actually did a number of jobs. He is meticulous and very kind and knows what he’s doing in a number of different areas I was very grateful that Sherry sent him to me. Had them give me an est for fencing. Everything had a cost, right down to a cost for using my debit card. The gentleman that came to my home was very wabbly, ever step he took was unstable. I feared he would fall on my property; then he came back without warning to take photos he had forgot to take when he was here the first time.

I was gone, but my daughter said Jose was very professional and friendly. Thank you for getting this done for us

Jose from Handyman came to install a wall tv mount for me. From the first hello and handshake, he was 100% professional and gave me the impression he knew wheat he was doing. While he was setting up for the install, he found that the hardware I had purchased would not work for the job and was very up front about that which I appreciated. He offered to go get hardware that worked and set it all up quickly and efficiently once he had what he needed. He kept the work place clean and made sure things were neat and tidy after the job. I was very pleased with the completed job. I would highly recommend Jose and will definitely use his services again in the future when needed.

We had the pleasure of working with Tony at Mr. Handyman and he has been an absolute delight to have around while we do several projects on our newly purchased home. He is wonderful with my daughter, and always makes us feel safe and comfortable. He hung a few doors for us, put up a new wall, venting, and fixed a few random things here and there. Always showed up to work with a smile and a kind word and always left with the best attitude and clear expectations. Can't say enough about how much of a pleasure it's been working with Tony and all the other team members at Mr. Handyman! Didn't have to worry about coordinating the other contractors needed to really make the new house shine, including new paint, clean windows and a great electrician. Thanks so much Mr. Handyman!

Workers were nice enough, but their estimate was severely under what the actual cost ended up being- creating a problem with insurance. They left all their trash at our house like the giant boxes for the new bathtub and shower ect. Took the door off and did not put it back on. To top it all off they put the shower hardware on wrong so our showers don't get hot. They have taken over 2 weeks to get back to us on fixing it and still haven't. Too weeks to fix so it's upsetting it was still done wrong. I DO NOT RECOMMEND

José put four bedroom sets together for us. He did all the heavy lifting and was very skilled At configuring the furniture with Minimal direction's. . He's a Very nice young man. Thank you.

They responded promptly to my request to repair a roof leak. Technician appeared quickly, gave an estimate, returned and completed the repair for less than the estimate. I appreciated being notified when he was on his way and his photo so I would recognize him. I don't see how the experience could have been any better! Highly recommended.

We had a minor roof leak/repair to be completed. From start to finish, Mr.Handyman was great to work with. Communication, throughout, was spot on, via text/phone calls, and Jacob, our Technician, was quick, friendly and knowledgeable.

I called an made an appointment with Mr. Handyman this past Friday. On the call, the woman told me that they would send out a technician who would take measurements of the broken window, and then, in most cases, they'd be able to fix it right then and there with a quick trip to Home Depot. They then called me on Friday to say my appointment was cancelled, after I had carved out a large part of my day to make myself available to meet the technician. They did manage to get me another appointment the following Monday with an arrival time between 9:30 and 11:30 AM. As of 12:05 that day, I had not received any texts/calls stating that they were even on their way. Again, I'm taking off work to meet with the technician. Finally, 45 minutes late, the technician showed up. He said all he could do is put a board up, but he did suggest that I call a window company for a faster repair of the window. I shared I was frustrated that that was all he could do, but felt I was left with little choice. It's winter, and I needed the window at least covered. After he left for 30 minutes and returned with a board, he took a little over an hour to complete his work. To his credit, he did a good job. However, the bill was for over $425. I asked how much of that was for supplies. He said $110. So, he charged me over $300 for a little more than an hour of labor and a trip to the store 2 miles away.
I asked him why I was told that he'd most likely be able to fix it. His excuse was that the women answering the phones didn't know much about contracting. I simply replied that's not a good excuse. That's just another thing wrong within the company. He shrugged his shoulders.

Basically, the only positive out of all this was the quality of work. The price and customer service I thought was terrible.

Just wanted to take a minute and update my prior rating. There were some issues with the original door I had them install but they stood by their work and made up for all of the problems at their own expense. It was a bit of a process but in the end the job was done properly and I’m pleased with the results. Thank you!

My husband and I would like to thank Chad, Daniel and Caleb from Mr. Handyman of Spokane for their outstanding work in installing our new tub and shower surround. We have a small bathroom so there was many upsets in regards to this but the outcome was excellent. We also had no window but they installed one and it turned out perfect in and out. They were all very professional and pleasant to work with. Would definitely recommend Mr. Handyman for your projects. Very happy with them.

He gave me an estimate and explained what needed to be done. He was efficient and was within reason on his estimate.

Andre fixed a leaky toilet and went above and beyond by caulking the base and also increasing water pressure to my house.

The Handyman was efficient and experienced. He took extra steps to ensure the job was done right. No supervision on my part was required with him although I periodically checked in to answer any questions and ask a few of my own. He was courteous and hardworking. The pricing was in the middle of the low and high bids I'd gotten from other painters.

Rock explained the process and suggested enhancements for that. The work area was cleaned up at the end of each day. I was very pleased with the project from beginning to end.

I have been highly pleased with my interactions with providers through Mr.
Handyman. They have all been knowledgeable and highly capable. For someone who is not physically able to do the work herself, but knows how it should be done this is important. I will definitely be calling Mr. Handyman for future projects.

Spoke with someone over the phone to get a rough estimate quote and schedule an appointment for this mornings instillation of 3 outdoor hand rails(8am apt). Our appointment was never scheduled on their end, they realized they messed up, and were able to try to fix their mistake by sending John out on his own ASAP! John is a sweet funny close to retirement man who I felt extremely guilty watching work on his own the entire time (8:40am-4:30pm) no breaks!!! It is not a one person job… especially for John. They were able to try to fix their mistake but, we Pay Hourly Labor, and Most Definitely Paid For Their Mistake!!! It was an extremely unpleasant experience! Thank you.

We had hired Mr. Handyman to rebuild the framing around our fireplace so it was no longer tapered in December of 2023. Essentially tear down the existing structure and build roughly a 6' x 6' square in its place and then hang a TV. This simple job took them almost a month to accomplish. The employee was the slowest I have seen. In addition, the work was of very poor quality - drywall pulling away from the wall, TV mounted incorrectly, TV mount damaged, and the fireplace stone damaged. They had at least 4 different employees out to fix the errors and damage that the original worker caused. They have come back in and remounted the TV correctly, patched the drywall and replaced the TV mount they destroyed - however they have not fixed the stone on the fireplace. After working with them to try to find a solution (2 separate employees came out to try to figure out how to fix the stone they damaged) and not being able to, I submitted a claim to their insurance. The insurance company did not get any text messages or pictures from me, rather called Mr. Handyman and asked if they did the damage, which they indicated they had not (despite text messages from Sheri saying they usually do better work, they will fix it, etc). Still no resolution to the damaged fireplace stone. Pictures show before work was done, work, and some of the error's and damage. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND YOU DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY.

We had Mr Handyman out for issues on 2 doors. The man door on the garage didn't seal and didn't operate well. The back patio man door is weathered and needs to be replaced.
The tech was very friendly. However, for our nearly $400 we got the garage man door operating better but still doesn't seal any better than before.
The tech took measurements of the patio man door to get a quote from a door shop to make a replacement slab with hinges and knob holes cut in the correct place to reuse the existing door jam. 3 weeks later we haven't heard anything back. I called last Thursday 9/5 @ 8:31 am and they said they'd figure out what happened and get back to me.
As of Monday 9/9 we still haven't heard anything back. What a waste of time and money.
We will NEVER use them again. Nor can I possibly recommend them. Unfortunately, I have to give them at least 1 star to post my review as they don't even deserve that much.

Everyone was very helpful, polite and communicated to me what was going to happen. The work was done very well.

Caleb did a great job removing a kitchen peninsula. Needed to increase an opening to accomodate a regular dishwasher. He arrived on time and got right to work. Cleaned up everything and hauled away the cabinet and door remnants so i didn't have to. Would highly recommend using Mr. Handyman for projects around your house.

Wife was home during this experience, but she reports the tech was professional, did what he was there to do. Everything works just fine. Will use again.

My deck had a loose board which was causing the deck floor boards to buckle. The first guy that came out was very nice and thorough in his inspection but said he needed another opinion. So they sent out this frankly rude man who looked at my deck and said it was rotting and they could not do any work on it, not even shoring it up though he said it would probably last a few more years. He chastised me for painting my deck by asking me "Do you like to breathe" repeatedly and said you should never use paint because the wood has to "breathe." I see I perhaps should not have painted it but fail to see how a paint job from two years ago is relevant. I was hoping to use them for other projects but not now. The woman on the phone was very nice though and professional. By the way, my neighbor came over and secured the loose board and braced the underside to fix the part of the deck that had buckled. At least it shouldn't get worse now which is all I wanted.

Caleb was an amazing hire. He came to fix some peeled back trim above my garage door and replace some sealant above an upper window. He was extremely helpful and professional, even giving me advice on other projects at my house. On top of that, the workmanship was great and the trim looked good as new after.

This is what we got for $500… It is far short of what I would expect for $500, and the material cost doesn’t add up to what was installed (they charged us almost $100 for materials).

When I first called to see if they could come out and install the handrail, the customer service rep said the worker (who supposedly has 10 years experience) would come out, give a rough estimate of the time it would take, and start “immediately.” Sounds good, right? No.

He didn’t start “immediately,” he charged us the time it took to go get the materials. If I had known that, I never would have hired them. My mom said that the worker also took a long time to build the handrail (my stepdad was a carpenter, so we have a good gauge on how long this SIMPLE job should have taken).

I was unable to be there due to work, so it was just my 80 year old mother. We feel very much taken advantage of.

I contacted them to see if they would make it right (take some money off or improve the quality of the handrail), and at first they were answering my emails but then they stopped. I guess we chalk this up to: lesson learned, but I would definitely NOT recommend this company.

Caleb was professional, efficient, and courteous and did an exceptional job. I needed assistance in repairing the outside vent for my fireplace insert, to ensure my home was ready to sell. He repaired the vent and even added some additional siding trim to improve the aesthetics. Great service!

We called to schedule and we were told there would be no charge if no work was done. They arrived and quoted an estimate for only labor, not materials, and they charged over $200. Moreover, they estimated we would need 700 feet of trim material for a small shed, which is 5-6 times the amount of trim we would actually need. We felt they falsely advertised first by telling us there would be no charge if no work was done, and then charging us anyway, and then the estimate was excessively high for the type of work and the material estimate was astronomically high (the material quantity, not the material cost which they could not give us). We were disappointed by this experience.

I needed help modifying a cut out for a new oven and microwave combination. My existing cut out wouldn't work. A friend refered me to Mr. Handyman and I'm glad he did. John from Mr. Handyman was dispatched to my home. He really did an outstanding job. He was very clever and told us what his plan was. He also asked us how high we wanted it. My wife and I were stunned by his results. Thank you John and Mr. Handyman.

Mr. Handyman repaired our foundation vent and our siding / roof. Rock was great to work with and did a fantastic job on the repairs. Shari in the office was a pleasure to talk and work with in scheduling and logistics of the work. Will definitely use them again if any other issues come up.
