Mr. Handyman of Roswell, Alpharetta and Cumming

I used Mr.Handyman services for the past two years now. Over the that time period, I have had two different workers to replaced a lot of trim wood rot near my gutters and to repair and paint 3 different metal roofs over my windows which accumulated to 7 full days of labor. Both workers were extremely punctual, had a good work ethic, and did quality work to the highest degree. This business does guarantee their work for one year and did return a year later to fix an area under warranty for no charge. Chet the owner recently came to inspect my metal roof that looked like there could be possible paint pealing from ground level. As it turned out after his inspection on a ladder, there was nothing wrong with my roof as Chet was able to scrape off something that simply made my roof look suspect for no charge. Handyman services can vary from not showing up as promised or when they do show up that can create a bigger problem costing you more money as in hiring another Handyman to fix their poor workmanship. Rest assured, Mr. Handyman of Roswell, Alpharetta, and Cumming is a class act. These are professionals that do exceptional work who care about your repair needs and your customer satisfaction. I had James Bonner come to my home to repair damage to the front of home caused by a vehicle that backed into it. James did an amazing job. Looks just like it did before damage . The front of the home is Stucco. He did an excellent job. Matching the Stucco highly recommend.

Wanda was excellent at communicating before and after the job, and Tony did a great job at doing the work itself. (It involved moving and extending a dryer vent.) I’m very pleased with the company and would definitely hire them again.

Had plumbing work for water leak, ceiling and wall were cut open.James Bonner came out to repair my popcorn ceiling and drywall. He matched the popcorn texture and paint matched the drywall. We are happy with the work, and thank you very much.

We asked Chet and the team to help us assemble and hang six custom blinds. The installer was on-time, helpful, and careful with clean-up. Before starting work, he took measurements of each window and blinds (I had taken original measurements and ordered them) and flagged an issue with the mounting in a challenging window that I had overlooked. Thanks to him, I reordered that blind to make sure the full job was 100% right when complete. Saved us time and hassle. Pricing was very reasonable for work performed.

Technician James Bonner of Mr Handyman came to my house today to do multiple repairs that I had been putting off. He did a super job!!! Wanda, the receptionist, is very friendly and they give an estimate based on pictures you send them re what you need done. James found a simple fix on a couple of my doors, so my total bill came in much less than my quote! Other jobs, like areas of wood rot, were done very well. He took pictures and explained what needed to be done. He was very helpful, friendly, neat and cleaned up after himself. Very professional and trustworthy. Highly recommend!!!

Great service! James arrived promptly at the scheduled 9am appointment time. Our service was 3-fold - new pendant lights installed, 2 ceiling fans installed, and fixed a kitchen drawer track! James worked neatly and was very courteous of our home. Definitely recommend!

Very pleased with the entire process. Scheduling was easy, got a quick appointment. Received an email with a picture of handyman coming to my home and received a text when he was on the way. Colin (the handyman) was very courteous, completed the job in a short period, did a good job, and left the job location clean. Will definitely use this company again.

I appreciate the quick response and good communication. However, Mr. Handyman of Roswell charged me an exorbitant price for a clean up job. The main worker was nice, but slow. They also provided me with a quote for additional work that was three times higher than a competitor who has an excellent reputation in the community. I recommend getting additional quotes if you are considering their services.

Absolutely shady company. Hired them for a ceiling repair and was told it was a days work due to drying time. Found some other small projects for the tech to do while the patch dried. Problem #1: the ceiling repair was MORE than a days work (painting couldn’t be done same day), which they didn’t disclose. Unbeknownst to us, they’d scheduled us a second day (at additional cost) the following week to do the painting portion- never even checked to see if that day was ok with us.
Problem #2: the second project we found for the tech to do while the first project dried was submitted in photos to the office. Tech shows up and says he can’t reach that spot with his ladder- but we’d disclosed the height a week prior, so this *should* have been communicated to him. This repair cost us more than it should have and will now cost us even more bc we have to hire a painter to finish the ceiling and do the other repair project. Don’t hire these people. Trust me.

Eric, our Handyman was awesome! He stayed and fixed some complex problems with our front door! ! He was helpful and knowledgeable. And a nice person to work with. A true ‘10’! And speaking of a true ‘10’, Wanda, the company rep, was fantastic! She was helpful, and willing to do anything it took. A great team.

I reached out the Mr. Handyman to repair exterior trim around a bay window that had water damage. After sending pictures, they were quick with a response on providing an estimate and were able to schedule the job in a timely manner. Moe was the technician that did the work for me, and he was awesome! He was quick, did a great job, and was very professional.

I had a great experience with Mr. Handyman of Roswell. From getting an original estimate to the end result when the condo repairs were completed, the process was seamless. James and Moe were such nice men. They worked at such a fast steady pace and did great work. I couldn’t be more satisfied. The entire job came under budget Which was such a relief to me. The work they did involved replacing floor tile, replacing my laminate floors with luxury vinyl plank, replacing sheet rock, and painting. The owner is a very genuine and honest guy. I will 100% recommend this company to anyone Ik needing work done and save the number for any future work I need done. I spoke with the owner Chet about needing help with a DIY project and he actually coached me on how to finish it myself. A different company I spoke with earlier today quoted me more for the same work and it turned into a negotiation on price where it became clear there was no fixed price and the guy was just trying to see how much he could charge me/how much research I had done to see if I knew what a fair price should be. Regardless, thanks to Chet turns out I may be able to finish this myself without needing any help at all. His actions insinuate this is a very trustworthy company and I really appreciate the advice he gave me!

James did a wonderful job fixing our toilet and roof trim. He was on time and was very efficient in getting the work done. I would recommend the business.

My Handyman, James did a great job removing crack bathroom tile and installing new tile. He was professional, and very meticulous. James took time to explain what could have cause such a crack and the necessary steps he would have to do prior to installing the new tile.

Technicians James and Moe arrived onsite on time. They replaced my damaged siding and cut a new piece from some spare pieces we had fom the original install a few years prior. They were polite and professional and did a good job. I also liked how their scheduler/dispatcher Wanda gave me an estimate over the phone based on pictures. She followed up to confirm the appointment and sent confirmation emails. The techs showed up in company vans wearing company uniforms which is good. Pricing was reasonable, epecially considering other places I called wouldn't even give me an estimate because the job was "too small". I'm gonna use them again in the future.

I scheduled service with Mr. Handyman for a leak in the ceiling. I was hesitant because I was not sure if a handyman could assist with the entire job, or if I would need too call a roofer or plumber. After calling, I was assured they would be able to handle the job and was very pleased with the service. James Bonner was awesome and very knowledgeable. I ended up adding services that took his entire day, and I asked him questions about other issues in my home. He was knowledgeable, helpful, and very good at completing all the repairs with high quality workmanship. They will definitely be my first call if I have any future issues.

Robert was our tech from Mr Handyman of Roswell, Alpharetta and was great with new garbage disposal installation. He had to upgrade out kitchen switch from 15 amp to 20 amp but we only had to pay minimal amount for the switch itself (about $15). On time and on budget. I would use them again.
