These guys did a great job removing multiple trees—all in one day! Joey and his crew were polite and took care of fencing and other items on my premises—they even moved a wooden swing set out of the way and moved it back. They left everything clean and picked up all debris. I highly recommend!

We had a tree hanging over our metal building that with all the recent storms we were afraid might come down on our shop building. Stopped by their business, they came very quickly and cut it down that day. Great work, reasonably priced, would definitely hire again.

These guys are the best! They never disappoint. We first had them clean our wood stove chimney, then had them reseal some flashing and finally ended up upgrading to a new stove. They are always helpful and never hesitate to come out and take a look if we have additional questions or concerns. Oh, and we also had them take down a couple of trees. They do it ALL!

Jeremy and his crew did an exceptional job with installing our new stove pipe. They were knowledgeable and courteous and we would highly recommend this company to all.

This company removed and installed a new fireplace in my home last fall. They had to custom fit the fireplace into the already existing rock wall and repair the chimney. They were prompt, professional and preformed excellent work. So of course I called them when I needed some trees removed. Due to its location, one of the trees was extremely difficult to remove. I needed a company I could trust. They took the time needed to prevent damage to my fence, deck and home. There were no limbs or mess for me to clean up after they left. They took care of all of everything. They even followed up the next day to make sure I was satisfied with their work. This company is top notch! You can't go wrong with them and I will definitely be calling them again!

Mountain home chimney and tree was quick to respond when contacted and very profesional. I would highly recommend them as they are a very honest and detail oriented crew.

Called for a chimney cleaning. It had been two years. Man came exactly when scheduled. After inspecting inside and outside, the stack was very clean, so no sweeping or vacuuming required. We use our stove heavily for primary heat in the winter, but we burn well-seasoned oak so good to know there was no buildup. Reasonably-priced service for our peace of mind.

Update June 2025: Routine annual service. These folks are great. On time, thorough, professional. You can tell when people know what they're doing and care about their reputation. AA++

Joey and his crew did a fantastic job clearing the trees from my yard and trimming my crepe myrtles. Plus they cut a limb from a tree that was dragging on my roof & took out a pesky persimmon tree in the backyard. Courteous & very kind to work with!!! The before pic shows the crepe myrtle’s when they were a bit taller (but not much). I just love how they helped improve my yard so much…. and so quickly!!!! ♥️♥️♥️

I called them to come out and do a chimney inspection and they told me what I already knew, and that was my current stove and chimney was unsafe. The chimney tiles were cracked, but they not only informed me that it was not safe, but provided me with pictures and explained the situation. My family purchased a large Lopi flush mount insert and flexible chimney pipe from them. They were very easy to work with, especially with multiple phone calls and all the questions I had to ask. When they came out, they were very efficient and took care not to damage anything or leave a mess. I can't thank them enough and would highly recommend them for your next insert, inspection or chimney work. These guys and the girls in the office are awesome!

Love my new wood burning stove! They did a great job and overcame some difficult old house issues! They stayed until the job was completed even though it took a whole lot more time to do the job than expected. Very professional and strives to do the job the right way without cutting corners. Would highly recommend them to everyone.

The guys were very prompt and great to work with. They cleared LOTS of trees to open my lake view and did it in just a couple of hours! So happy with the results!!

Had to have the tuck pointing done on my chimney. I thought that’s all it needed. Was very happily suprised when they also redid the cap. Looks better than it did when we bought the house. The guys made multiple trips to insure everything was done right. The bill was even less than they estimated. Thank you for all that you did.

Well I called this company to come out and see IF they can do a job on my fire place. I sent tons of pictures and spoke with the owner and the lady who answers the phones and made sure they knew exactly what they were needed for. And despite all the questions they still sent someone out to do the exact opposite of what I asked. They tried to charge me for a full price inspection despite me literally telling them I had it inspected and just wanted to know if they could fix the inside ceiling of my large fire place. So they sent a guy out to inspect instead of what I asked for and he had no idea what I needed done. Then charged me told me they would call me the following week that either yes they could or no they couldn't add the masonry to my fireplace. Yet I never received a call back and frankly seems like they just tried to take advantage of the situation and I wouldn't recommend this company what so ever. From start to finish it was a fail.

PLEASE READ COMPLETE REVIEW. Complete RIP OFF if you hire these people. They charge for an estimate but will not tell you that till they are finished with looking at job to be completed. You will also wait at least a week and a half to get their over priced estimate. Stay away from this company and these people unless you want to get screwed.

I made a terrible mistake with this review. This was NOT the chimney and tree service that I thought I was dealing with. After receiving a call asking me about this review it was pointed out to me that I was mistaken and I would like to say I am deeply sorry for any inconvenience this may have caused the owners of Mt Home Chimney and Tree Service and I am truly sorry.

We use Mtn Home Chimney for all our wood stove needs and to service our chimney. We just purchased our 2nd stove from them. The service is amazing, quick, and professional.

The crew did an excellent job removing a Bradford pear tree from our front yard. They were super fast, professional, and thorough with their cleanup.

This company takes great care of my chimney. Every spring they send me a reminder in the mail to call and schedule my yearly chimney inspection and sweep. They are always punctual and professional. I highly recommend this company!

Wow! They showed amazing skill cutting down our four huge (dead and dying) oak trees, which were sandwiched between a fence, a garage, a propane tank, and a sidewalk. Oh, and can't forget the nearby power lines. They managed to avoid all the obstacles, and finished up before lunch, on a very hot and sticky day. Great job!

These guys knocked it out of the PARK!!!I had 6 dead trees and they went above and beyond and even took out a few extra trees at no charge. They did a great job of cleaning up and communicating. Showed up when they said they would ( which is a big deal in my book). Will use again and recommend to anyone needing tree service.

The hard working men at this establishment make it such a great buisness to contact! They did an amazing job installing my chimney in for me while I was able to sit back and drink my smoothie! They did a phenomenal job and will reach out to them for tree work in the future as well!

Our Harlin Heights Apartment property is beautifully nestled into an Ozarks hillside. Our buildings house four apartments in each of the eight buildings. They are close enough together to make a quiet, peaceful housing community but such limited room for equipment when large work jobs are needed such as tree removal.
We had four elm trees growing from the hillsides overtowering rooftops. Due to the size and age of the trees the grounds were struggling to keep them upright. They were leaning and the past wind, rain and ice storms had brought many limbs and branches down. Some landed on roofs and grounds while others were stuck in the tree tops.
Parking is on the exterior of the property. Therefore it would be impossible to get a bucket truck to where the trees were.
As an apartment manager I knew the importance of getting those trees down for the safety of our residents and guests as well as our apartments. My problem was, no one wanted the job. Those trees would need to be climbed, brought down limb by limb and then hand dragged to the exterior of the property to be hauled away and limbs mulched. I had been struggling with finding someone that could do the job, would take the job and was insured. I always received the same answer, no.
Joey, from Mountain Home Chimney and Tree Service came to look over the job. Right away he said he didn't want the job but that I needed to find someone as the trees were leaning and were obviously becoming a danger. I quietly said that I knew and no one wanted the job. Joey looked at me, shook his head, and said he would do it just as soon as the grounds dried out. I was so thankful but not nearly as thankful as I was the day Joey and his crew brought those trees limb by limb to the ground. Sawed them up and nearly in a run to remove them, not only the heavy tree trunks and limbs but raking the grounds as well and every single bit of this was done without one piece of limb on a rooftop and not one single damage to anything! Those trees were brought down with an unequal amount of skill and talent. A truly awesome job Joey !

Can't speak more highly of the owners and staff of this company! I would recommend them to anyone. They came early, immediately began working to get rid of the frightening tree limbs hanging over my house. The man operating the boom lift was also slicing and dicing through these trees and it just astonished me. By the time they were finished that day, 6 trees were completely cut down and hauled away. They had raked up all the extra debris and generously had my yard looking better than before they had arrived. If you are looking for professionalism, quality work, and a few good laughs with good kind hearted people, then give them a call!

The Dynamic Duo (their mama calls them Joey and Billy) did a great job installing our wood stove. They came on time, got right to work, and cleaned up, all the while being a pleasure to have in my home. Joey promised at least one more cold day this spring.

From the initial estimating process to the final installation, the customer service we received from this company was flawless. We were treated with utmost courtesy and respect by everyone, and what they said they would do, they did. Materials and workmanship were excellent. This is an outstanding family-owned local company to do business with, and they will be our go-to source for all chimney and tree services from now on.

THE BEST Customer service of all time! I needed a blower and a remote for my 20 year old unit. Called the office talked to Ariana and let me tell ya she worked tirelessly to find me a blower and remote for my discontinued gas fireplace. Ariana kept me up to speed on every route she took until she found it. Scheduled her team to come out to take care of the install. Joey and team came out and made my fireplace look like new went above and beyond just installing a blower and remote checked out everything in my gas fireplace to make sure everything was working properly! This by far is the best customer service I have ever and I mean EVER recieved!

Great people to work with. They went above and beyond to make sure the job was done right. Replacing our chimney liner had a few hiccups but Joey never gave up and he got the job done. Great place of business.

It's nice to find a company that is trustworthy as well as licensed and insured. Amazing team! Not only were they quick and efficient at removing multiple trees/limbs on our property. They were fair pricing which was my husband's favorite part! Joey and his teammates were awesome to work with! They had so much knowledge about the process and trees in the area. Arianna worked with our schedule as well! They are truly the best around! We even had them look at our chimneys and did a wonderful job they even found issues our inspector missed and gave us pricing for fixs.

I am removing my bad review and replacing it with a great one. After speaking to one of owners, we learned there was a family emergency and that’s why there was no one at the shop. We went back and Jeremy helped us and was very knowledgeable. We would recommend this business to our family and friends.

These Guys are awesome, I had a chimney inspection done. After they left I started a fire a couple weeks later and had smoke rolling in the house. I immediately called them and asked what it could be. They sent Joey and Robin within A couple days. They analyzed my stove from top to bottom until the issue was solved. I wouldn’t take my business anywhere else!

Bill and Joey did a fantastic job with my mom's new fireplace insert. She loves it! It is beautiful and easy to operate. Bill, Joey, and crew were very respectful of me and my mom and I would not hesitate to call them again should the need arise.

These people are liars and would be thievies, they came to my home, did a fifteen minute inspection and told me my intire cimmney would have to be replaced at a cost of $15000.00 dollars.I called a chimmney cleaning service, had my fire place and chimmney cleaned for $125.00. He said that there was no problems with my firplace. He also said that many people had told him the same thing about mountain home fire and chimmney. I tell everyone I know to stay away from them, they have no problem lieing to you about your fireplace.

Last Fall of 2016 we were given a report that our fire place needed a new liner and was not even safe to use unless we put in a new liner that was in excess of $4K estimate. A second opinion revealed that it is completely safe, and needed no liner. It has been used numerous times since with no issues.
