We selected Moore Construction Co to replace our patio/arbor that was damaged in the May hail storms. We had a difficult time explaining to insurance that the patio/arbor could not be repaired. No one installs custom powder coated aluminum patio covers any more (20yr old install). We received three competitive bids for a cedar replacement of the patio/arbor. Miguel, construction manager, from Moore was the most helpful and worked directly with our insurance adjuster to explain why a repair could not be done. He provided them itemized lists and details of the replacement. He successfully heled us get coverage for a full replacement of a like structure.

Miguel was able to immediately schedule the work and he personally was on site a significant part of the time. We of course added extras and he was able to bring the expertise to accomplish the extra work. I am very happy with the new patio/arbor structure and I am happy to recommend Moore Construction Co for your needs, ask for Miguel!

I have used Moore construction twice now for my roof, siding, and fence needs. They do amazing quality work and are very professional. Miguel is amazing and took the time to come out to my house on a sunday morning to do the walkthrough with my insurance adjuster for the damage from a hail storm. It made the process super easy and so there wasnt any back and forth with my insuranceclaim because of it.

In 2019 I used Moore to remove the 30 year old cheap, builder grade wood siding around my patio and replace it with Hardiboard and paint the entire non-brick areas of my house. The work took their team 2 full days. But the results were excellent. Even now the finished work looks like new. They caulked ALL gaps in the trim and siding, and simply did an excellent job. I can unhesitatingly recommend Moore Construction to all my friends!

These guys did top-notch work on my house. The job turned out to be bigger in a few areas, and the weather made it very tough on them. However, the finished product is awesome! Each area where they worked on my house turned out super nice, and we couldn't be happier. The salesman was great and the working crew at our house was absolutely superb. I would recommend them for any home renovations you need done!

All in all a good experience. My only issue was that on more than one job the workers left without properly cleaning up.

They did about 70% of the work promised per the contract. When I showed them what work remained to be done, they stopped responding. I paid for all work completed as agreed, but not for the 30% they did not do. They filed an illegal lien without telling me about it. Still refuse to return my phone call to discuss. DO NOT USE THEM - they will do the absolute minimum.

I had received a couple of quotes for a 685 square foot patio foundation in my backyard and Moore came in and simply blew me away, with their pricing, their communication, professionalism, and the attention to detail of the work done. Could not recommend Moore Construction enough, truly an excellent experience all the way around.

I chose Moore Construction Co to replace and paint the siding on my home. From beginning to end the process went just as Miguel promised, Concerns and questions were addressed clearly and promptly.
The teamwork of the crew was impressive.

Do not use this company. They do not stand behind what their employees tell people. When my fence was installed last year I told my project manager James (who is no longer with the company) that there were some damaged pieces of wood that needed to be replaced. He told me to wait until my 1 year warranty period was up and then they would come out and make all the replacements/repairs at once. Fast forward to 1 year later when I contact the company to make the repairs. After being strung along for a month via text message by my new PM Johnathan, with several reschedules and no shows, he finally came out and said the work was “too extensive” and unless I had it in writing from James, there was nothing he would do. A $10k fence and they can’t replace 4-5 boards!??

Just use someone else for your fencing needs.

UPDATE: After only 2 years, part of our fence blew down, now I’m paying (someone else) another $700 to fix it.

We just finished a complete exterior refresh/remodel of our home and after an extensive search selected Moore Construction to do the bulk of the work. We had the soffits, fascia, siding and shutters replaced; the entryway paneled; the front stairs and stoop tiled; the entire house painted; and all exterior lighting replaced (soffits lights front/back and floods). We worked with Miguel Herrera on this project and he was absolutely amazing, he went above and beyond in ensuring that we got exactly what we wanted and that we were 100% happy with the final result. The team was punctual, arriving every day right at 8am, and clearly cared about the quality of their work; which is hard to find these days. We would 100% recommend Moore to anyone looking for this type of work to be done, and will definitely use them again should the need arise.

I used Moore Construction to build a new patio for my home and I couldn't be more pleased. In searching for a contractor, I called Moore Construction and received a call back just an hour later from Miguel Herrera. Miguel came out on a Saturday (having worked with many contractors in the past I was just glad he showed up--that he actually came out when it was convenient for me is unheard of), took measurements and gave me what I felt was a competitive bid later that day. I signed the agreement to move forward, and Miguel served as the project manager throughout the project. Not only did he ensure a flawless job, he was great about communicating with me. From the time I signed the agreement to the time the patio was finished was less than 3 weeks. Amazing! Will definitely contact Miguel at Moore for future projects.

We hired Moore Construction to remove our old rotted siding from the 80s and replace with new siding. Team was fast and responsive to get on the books, and average in pricing. Project was quick and timely, and what I appreciated the most was post-clean up - a lot of contractors do not put emphasis on this, but the team went above my expectations.

I got a carport done and I worked with Mike and James. It took a while to get the supplies and permits, but they did a great job and put the carport up in a few hours. Great quality, price was fair, and service. I would definitely recommend them for friends and family.

The quality of work was excellent. Very pleased with how my siding and paint turned out. However, there was some delays from estimate approval to scheduling the job and the project manager missed some details in the original estimate.

This company was professional from start to finish, a quality we really appreciated. Miguel was wonderful to work with. He did a thorough walk through with us on what we wanted done -- replacing 30 year old wood siding panels and trim with Hardie board, tearing down our old pergola and building a new one. He coordinated the various crews who all knew what they were doing. We're super happy with the results.

The positives: unlike many other companies they give all details of the work they will do and materials they are going to use with the reasonable rates. The quality of the job was good.
The negatives: they charge you no less than $50 for anything they will do event if it just one minute job. In my case they charge me such amount to install one shingle on the roof(material was mine), and wanted this amount to unscrew and screw 3 screws. Got to control their job in order do not have wholes to the artic. Also they left paint spots on my patio floor- could be more accurate.
Overall I would recommend to call them for an estimate. May be they will be the best you can find.

After spending a year receiving over-inflated bids and dealing with contractors who never returned my calls, or just never showed up, I finally found Moore Construction to replace the siding on my 40 year old house. Mike Bow was professional from the start and he continued to respond quickly and answer all my questions honestly throughout the project. I was able to also add new gutters and insulation thanks to Mike keeping things within our budget. The crew was fantastic and I am beyond pleased with the outcome. I will use Moore for any future projects and have already recommended them to friends and family.

Van did such an amazing job facilitating a rebuild of the front entryway of our house. We switched out our original wrought iron railing and pillars with cedar, and it could not have gone any smoother. My wife and I have already decided to use Van to replace and paint the siding on our house. Thanks!

We had our wood siding replaced with Hardie Plank. Moore construction did a great job. They did all the work quickly and neatly. I am now using them to do the same on the garage. I would recommend them.

In 2018 we had our roof,siding and gutters done. I had to be watching them every minute. They broke my water lines to my sprinklers. Used my solar screens as a leverage point when removing the old siding. On the last day they did the caulking late at night in the dark. What a mess that was. Now we have a leak in the roof that has damaged my ceiling, wood floors and several special books. I have been informed that they will NOT cover those damages since it was 2 years ago that the work was done. You can guess what I have to do now.

I took it upon myself, with the help of a friend, to install a pergola. While the pergola looked good, the finished product was not stable. I contacted Moore Construction and a very nice project manager arrived at my home to look at what was needed. He explained exactly what was going on and how to make the pergola stable. He sent over an estimate, the job was scheduled and completed a short time later. The work is great and the pergola stands steady. I can't thank Chris and Moore Construction enough for coming through and helping a DIY person fix his mistakes. Thanks guys!

The fence looks great. The final product was everything I expected. I would have given 5 stars but they took longer than was anticipated due to missing materials. That said, they did address the issue In a timely manner and produced a good quality and professional result.

Miguel H. was fantastic with his follow-up. Added cedar beams to the exterior of our house which look beautiful. Really updated the look of our home.

Every interaction with the Moore team was professional, enlightening, and informative. Mike was main point of contact from the estimation phase and he was very courteous with his time answering any questions we had. Our first major home improvement project included new Hardie board siding, soffit & fascia replacement, gutter installation and exterior painting. They were able to get us scheduled about a week after the contract was signed, and all work was completed in a quick 2 week window, so we were happy about that. The crews that came to the house did a phenomenal job. They were respectful of our property, they didn't trample flowers, they picked up nails, and locked gates up at the end of the day. Each day they kept me updated with progress, and Mike/James were coming by to do check-in's on the job. The high quality of their work will be a staple of our house for years to come!

They did a beautiful job on my gutters. I had a full install of gutters around the entire perimeter of my house. Pricing was fair and transparent. Job is perfect. I will definately be using Moore Construction in the future for any other jobs I need done around my home.

Moore Construction did a very nice job repairing my fence, rehanging gates and replacing needed panels. However, there was miscommunication and it took them three visits to perform the agreed upon scope of work. Had I not pulled out my ladder to inspect the work, it would have gone incomplete. I think it was a mistake, so I am very pleased with the eventual outcome.

James, Miguel and Sally all did an exceptional job. My street is under construction so that threw some things off.

The biggest compliment is their communication. Miguel gave me good heads up about challenges.

I will definitely use them again for future projects.

Earlier this year a hail storm did a lot of damage to the house - roof, siding, fence, shed and patio cover. Moore construction gave us a fair deal on repairing it. They recommended an impact resistant shingle for the roof and it looks great. Repaired the chimney cap, the attic fan, and installed a ridge vent, replacing the turbines that were there. Looks much better now.

Since the house was built in 2001, the colors and styles of vinyl siding has changed, but they managed to find one that looks identical to the original. Can't tell the difference.

The only complaint i have about them is the guys that came out to stain the fence and patio enclosure. It took a while for them to get to us, and they missed part of the patio roof, which I ended up doing myself.

Overall, the job they did was great - just took a long time for it to be finished.

I recently had some fence repairs done though Moore Construction and the entire process was smooth, efficient, and no hassle. Blake was a fantastic representative of the company and worked to get me what I needed and did not push for expensive or overpriced features I didn't need. I appreciated this approach and the fence looks great. I will call on them again when I need further work done.

The fence installed by Moore Construction was affordable and great quality. They perform great work and provide great customer service. I'll definitely be contacting them again.

Kathy and Allen and a few others came out and did my roof last month. Looks amazing, and I'm here to report there is no issues and it is standing strong. They were really nice guys, it was a pleasure working with them.

UPDATE - May 2019- DO NOT USE - they will still not return my calls or emails regarding the sprinkler system they have broken. I have left several messages and am clearly being ignored.

When their “production manager” finally agreed to come and look at it, he refused to schedule an appointment, rather coming to my property without my permission. I asked to schedule 3 times, when he did show up, he told me that they never agreed the wall would last more than a year, that I can’t prove they dug in the same place the sprinkler is (where their wall is) and that he isn’t sure they would honor their warranty. He guaranteed a call back from their owner within 3 business days, it has been almost 2 months. They give all contractors a bad name and I am stuck footing the bill for an entire fix.

Absolutely not - they sold my neighbor and I on a retaining wall. Tried multiple times to charge for services they never completed or that we did not ask for. They didn’t put the proper lining down for rain and drainage and they use untreated cheap wood - it is already breaking in less than 6 months!
To make matters worse, turns out they broke my sprinkler pipe.
Extremely aggressive about charging for everything but poor quality of service.

James and his crew redesigned my patio and part of my backyard setup. What a fantastic crew! Very easy to work with. And the whole job was cheaper than I had expected it to be.

I called them up for a quote to redo my fence and possible do some patio work. They priced me a fair bill, and James and his crew came out to get the job done. They did great work, I would recommend!

Excellent service. I was fine with the quote they gave me for redoing my roof and they had the work done right on time. They new roof looks great, very happy I called them for the job.

Went by the ratings here and gave them a try few months back! Once the concrete was poured they never bothered to come back to take the frame out in spite of multiple reminders. I was prepping my yard and found a very poor quality around the edges. This is after increasing the cost of work from $1100 to $2000 for a 50 Sft error in the quote by them which was on the contract. Agree that I added about a 15 ft drain and 30 ft of 2row of brick(which I owned).

As far as replacing your roof, this company was average. I researched and compared this company with others and went with them. They completed the job within the allotted time.

However, the customer service was among the worst of any company I have ever to deal with. I had to deal with my insurance company myself. The roofing company never contacted me after the job was completed to finalize the finances. I had to initiate all the contacts.

When the initial salesman finally came by for the payment, he asked for the money and did not even give me a receipt. He had to look on his phone for the estimate costs for the totals. I asked for an invoice, he had none to give me.

I dealt with the office for the next week trying to get an invoice for insurance purposes. When the owner apologized for the poor training and service from the salesman, I asked what he was going to do to make it right. (Keep in mind, I have still not been given a final bill or invoice, just the initial estimate). I was told by the owner, "Are you just looking for a hand-out?" That was the last straw. I would definitely look elsewhere for contractor services.

I used this company to replace my roof and repair my cedar fence...a giant mistake. They do not do quality work, repairs don't meet code, and they charged me for repairs they did not do at all. I contacted them many times to fix the leaking roof (after paying them) and finally had to pay another company to fix their work.
There are tons of construction companies in the DFW area, choose any other.

I had a great experience using Moore Construction to replace the exterior wood trim around all the windows as well as installing new shutters. They called when they said they would, showed up on time, worked quickly and meticulously plus the crew spoke perfect English.

Moore Construction workers came out the scheduled day, after delivering the materials the day before. They replaced the fence (including the gate) from the garage to the alley and over to the first post. It was a beautiful looking job. I would recommend their work to anyone.

This is by far the best place to get your exterior remodeling; so due to the wind storm, I needed to replace my fence, I thought the search was going to be painful and stressful. However, they made all the process easy for me, I did not have to worry about talking to my insurance company and do all the paperwork. My sales rep was Kevin, he took care of everything, he gave excellent suggestions, he let me knew he was going to travel beforehand, but the same day the owner introduced himself to make sure that the procedure was smoothly, I feel extremely secure that everything was going to be perfect and the way I wanted. They definitely practice their mission. I will never go with anybody else. Thank you Joe and Kevin! I am so happy with the result!
