Jason was very helpful during my home search and the inspection process. He was responsive to my calls and explained the process every step of the way. On inspection day morning, he arrived early. Jason encouraged me to join him as he went through all of systems of the house. He was methodical and knowledgeable. He pointed out things of concern that I did not notice after having seen the home myself several times prior. He explained everything, answered my questions, and took photographs & videos of all areas of concern. Jason followed up with a detailed report that same evening. I would gladly recommend Jason for anyone requiring a home inspection.

-Booking was quick, flexible and convenient so as not to hold anything up.
-Arrived early to facilitate very timely completion. Spent enough time but not too much time as to be unrealistic.
-Thorough job. He paid special attention to any concerns we had.
-Appeared very knowledgeable in all aspects of job but did not try to answer questions if he didn’t have the exact answers. He was willing to address anything he could not answer with further research.
-Complete documentation needed for any records.
-Minor issue was the program he used was a bit cumbersome to navigate with a log-in/password and has follow up services/ads (you can opt out though!).

We entered into a private purchase and had a tight timeline because we needed the property inspection done before we finalized our P&S. Jason (Monadnock Home Inspections, LLC) came out very quickly and did a thorough assessment of the premises. We packaged our water testing, including testing for Radon, testing the air for Radon. He described his findings in writing with photographs to back up his observations, and the reports on air and water quality quickly followed, with all information within a 4-day window.
Later, the mortgage company sent out their assessor. Again, we had good photos, but it was obviously prepared for the financial aspect of the purchase (proving the house was worth the price of the requested mortgage). From a purely pragmatic point of view, both assessments served their purpose, but Jason’s work gave me much more practical information. The mortgage company did not test for air or water quality, but basic inspection costs were comparable.

*fantastic* experience with Monadnock Home Inspections! In an insane ssller’s market, We were fortunate to find a seller willing to go under agreement allowing a Home Inspection (most people were waiving them to ‘sweeten the deal’ ). I am not savvy enough to feel comfortable buying the most expensive thing I’ll ever own blind, so we called Jason from MHI, and I’m VERY glad we did.
Not only did Jason do his inspection in almost tutorial fashion, he pointed out things that were easily repaired, and provided a comprehensive and thorough report for us. His appraisal confirmed around $8,000 worth of work that *needed to be done*, as well as another $12,000 worth of work that ‘should be adressed in the next few years’ so we could buy our home with complete confidence in what to do next and in what order.
Perhaps the best part was his inspection illustrated the $8,000 worth of work that *needed to be done* was truly the responsibility of the seller to either repair, or would need to disclose if they decline to do it.
In the resulting negotiation the seller agreed to perform the work prior to our moving in.
The way we saw this was Jason and MHI saved us $8,000 on our home!

Jason made the inspection step of my housing adventure an easy transition. He took the time to explain situations that he saw and to help me understand what the solutions to the problems could be. What could've been a situation where he just went about his work and sent me report became a common goal of understanding the ins outs of what this new place would mean for me and my check book. He offered to come back and check issues about that were un accessible at the time of inspection. The final inspection product he provided included a check list to help me stay on track and move forward. As a public school teacher who does not have a lot of time or spare change for surprises the experience left me relaxed and hopeful.

Jason completed the most thorough home inspection I have ever seen. I have hired 6 home inspectors previously and none of them even came close to Monadnock Home Inspections hard work and detailed reporting. Alright, so I just got an offer accepted and was looking for a good & awesome inspector. I called Monadnock and Jason got back to me promptly. Mind you, I called him over the weekend and he was able to squeeze my inspection in for coming Tuesday. That was great!
On that day, Jason came on time and managed to fly his drone over the roof as I arrived few minutes late. We found some critters up there alright. No, we didnt I was just kidding. We then walked the property and he explained to me carefully all his findings and what need to be done and what I should look out for. He found and pointed out some spots that I should take care of as it was rotting. Nothing big but I don’t think I would have seen it if he did not point it out.
Jason also gives me advice on many of my concerns. He was thorough and very knowledgeable which keeps me at ease about the minor fixes that the house need. I also elected to do water test as it has well system. Was told it would take a few days for result, but got it the next day. Jason uploaded the report the same day. Jason mentioned if there is any questions that might arise, feel free to give him a call , but I think I did already! Overall, Jason was superb and I was well informed about property’s overall condition. I cannot thank him enough for his help. Great company, great service, great guy !
