We had our roof replaced and had a year long battle with insurance. Dan Dye's expertise was excellent and reassuring. He came out multiple times to help us with the claim and handled everything with insurance. The build was done in a day and the roof looks fantastic. okay, so you're a Minnesota homeowner; you'll need a new roof every 15-30 years, and there's a decent likelihood that replacement is prompted by damage from hail or tornado/wind activity.

now enter the legendary hordes of storm chasing roofing contractors and their annoying sales pitches. If you're like me, their tactics are a serious turn off, you avoid them, hide from them, wish they would just go away, but... you really do need a roof. What to do? unless you improbably have a relationship with a local roofer, you've got to make a choice.

Josesph Davitt from MNRC was a late arrival to my neighborhoods hail damage event. I'm not even sure why, but I entertained his assessement even after having turned away numberous others - likely it was due to his "straight shooting" and ernest nature. I had already had an insurance adjuster pay a visit, and so the confusing process of a claim had begun. Joe did an admirable job of navigating the labyrinth of the insurance process, particulary as it involved several items that required negotiation over a long period of time.

when the actual roofing work was done, the crew did the job, just as you would expect. lets be honest, this work isn't rocket science, but it is physically hard, dirty and not something most of us are interested tackling ourselves. the crew spent a fair bit of time on the post clean-up; one unexpected and nice touch was that both Joseph and another MNRC employee (a project mgr perhaps) showed up the next day (seperately) to inspect the work and make follow-up passes on the property, sweeping for debris/loose nails, etc.

there are undoubtedly hundreds, and maybe thousands of folks who can replace your roof, and most will probably do a perfectly fine job, but you can never really know. MNRC and Joe got done what I needed, and I'm am sure they will for you too.

After a lengthy back and forth with our Insurance company, the funding finally came through. We had been working with lalo for many months as we navigated the insurance system and are very satisfied with the outcome, both with his assistance on insurance and when it finally came through, the quickness in which we scheduled the roof replacement and the actual replacement. We now have a beautiful new roof! We will most assuredly recommend MNRC to others.

MNRC assisted us with our roof repair this past fall. We experience some storms this past summer and I noticed what appeared to be some wind and hail damage. Joseph inspected the roof and walked us through the process of processing a claim. At no point did I feel like I was pressured to move forward. They answered all my questions, were courteous, polite, and professional. The workmanship was top-notch and Joseph‘s response was prompt with every question I had. I would definitely recommend.

We had a great experience with MNRC. From start to finish Joe made the process extremely easy and was very professional throughout our project. He communicated consistently, answered all our questions and followed up throughout the entire reroofing project. Joe was very detail oriented and addressed any concerns we had - if all businesses provided the same level of customer service that Joe gave to us, then the retail world would be in a much better place.
He even stopped by the house several weeks after we had finished the project to ensure that a tree that had fallen on the house only damaged the gutter and not the roof. Very high praise for Joe and MNRC. I would highly recommend them if you need a new roof!

Charlie and MNRC was AMAZING to work with! After a major hail storm damaged our roof and siding, Charlie was able to work with us and our insurance company to get full replacement of both approved. Many of our neighbors with other contractors were forced through color matching practices with their insurance companies. Materials were ordered quickly and crews finished our house before most of the others in our neighborhood. Charlie was extra helpful in picking roof and siding colors, making multiple stops by our place to look at options via physical samples and modeling software. Could not be more pleased and will be our first call when any other home repairs need to be made.

Driving on MN Hwy 36 at about 4:30pm on 10/30/24 and their contractor or sales person in branded truck License Plate MN JLG 394 decided to pass people on the right shoulder and cut someone off in the construction area. Not a very good brand representation there.

I worked with MNRC and their supervisor/ sales guy Lalo to replace our roof from storm and hail damage,,,Our Lead supervisor from MNRC was a young guy named Lalo and he was very responsive and timely...delivered on what was promised and concientious about picking up all the debris including nails etc and all old shingling matter ...he/they protected the landscaping and was on time in getting the large project done...he was easy to work with and very agreeable including working with the gutter people to be sure all the work dovetailed with the roof ...he was up and down on that steep roof to be sure his crew did the job...we were happy with the work and job done !

I was in the line of the terrible hail storm in July of 2024. It was a brutal storm with a lot of damage: I wasn’t sure what to do, that’s when Dan Dye showed up at my door and assured me everything will be ok. Dan made the process of getting our roof replaced fantastic. I would highly recommend using MNRC for any home project.

Worked with Joe Davitt did a good job explaining on a complex roof job what was required.

Also, completed extra cleanup of scraps and nails after work was completed.

The new roof looks great. Every step of the project was completed on the faster end of the time estimates.

I had the unfortunate experience of encountering one of this company's employees while driving. The employee, driving a company vehicle, was swerving recklessly through traffic, tailgating other drivers, and even shouting out of the window. This kind of aggressive and dangerous behavior is not only unprofessional but also puts others at serious risk. If this is how their employees behave on the road, I can only imagine the kind of service they provide. I would strongly recommend avoiding this business if you value professionalism and respect.

We had a great experience with MNRC and Dan Dye. There was great communication leading up to our full roof replacement. On the day of, the team worked quickly and were very respectful. And cleanup turned out to be just as important to the crew as how the roof itself looked. The MNRC team spent a lot of time the following day making sure the whole yard was free of nails. And then one day later, Dan Dye came back to scan the yard again with the magnet tool they use to find any nails buried in the grass. Long story short, I’d very much recommend MNRC and Dan Dye.

Dan Dye of MNRC facilitated my roof/gutter/garage service door hail claim. He met with the insurance adjuster to inspect my roof, submitted the claim information, brought shingle samples and kept us informed of the scheduling. Roof looks great and was completed in one day. House was protected with draping, chip board panels.

What a fantastic experience working with Lalo Jimenez! He was knowledgeable about the right materials for our roof. It took us one year for insurance to approve and with that came challenges. Lalo stuck by and rooted for us. He is genuine responsive and punctual! Definitely 5 stars!!

MNCR replaced our roof this summer. Lalo Jiminez was great to work with. Hi took care of all the approvals with our insurance company and advised us on high impact shingles that resulted in significant savings on our homeowner's policy premium. All the work was done in one day and the house looks great. Lalo even showed up after the roofers left to use his magnet to search for any nails the roofers may have missed. He made sure we were informed and ensured that everything went smoothly.

MNRC was replacing my neighbors roof so I flagged Thomas Brent down and asked him if he does inspections. He said yes so he went up and inspected our roof. He informed me that there was damage. He placed a call to my insurance company and I confirmed to them that I’m the owner. I heard back from the insurance company and they said that they would send out an inspector from a certain company. Thomas informed me that they have a reputation that denies many claims, similar to my neighbor. I requested a different company and they assigned it to a different company. Thomas contacted the new company and set up a date just 2 days later.
Thomas was on the roof with the inspector for about 45 minutes. When they came down, the inspector informed me that in fact there was damage. Within 2 days, my insurance company emailed me with the approval for the roof replacement. I informed Thomas the we had a major remodeling project starting and asked if we could be a priority. He immediately was on his phone and just like that, the order was placed. 3 days later, our roof was replaced in plenty of time for our major remodeling project to start on time.
I would recommend MNRC to anyone.
