We had large hail damage in June 2024. Cole arrived promptly to assess and confirm the damage. Cole was very thorough with documenting the damages and efficient with processing the claims to our insurance company. HIGH QUALITY PROFESSIONAL WORK - GREAT INSURANCE COORDINATION

We selected Capital Construction to replace our aging 3300 sqft, 4-level roof and 350 lf of gutters and leaf guard due to wind and hail damage. We specifically did not obtain any competitive bids due to the very high quality, zero problem work Capital did on our daughter's house and a friend's house, both in Burnsville, MN. Our Project Consultant, Travis Smith, was really helpful in getting an insurance claim submitted and communicating with our insurance company. The roofing team carefully placed tarps to control debris and prevent damage to plants and landscaping. They finished all four levels in a single day leaving the property as clean as when they started, free of stray nails and shingle scraps. Likwise, the gutter crew worked very carefully and methodically, forming and cutting the gutters on-site and installing on all four levels with very tight, clean joins. Overall, we are very pleased with the high quality work and would not hesitate to call Capital back for future work.

I dealt with Ethan Olson. He is a very knowledgeable young man whom truly values the customer and their concerns. Everything was timely from roof inspection to giving us a very reasonable quote and to installation. All done in less than two weeks. Roofers showed up on time and were done in half a day. After some hail damage last summer, I was looking for someone to look at my roof for hail damage. Capitol came up and looked at it almost immediately. Originally the process was easy. Everything was set up essentially. At the end of it all I honestly know what was done, but I was unaware of the price breakdown until recently. It was super rushed. Which somewhat I understood as there was a lot of damage, and I alone had originally recommended them to a lot of ppl Once I was set in to the company, it seemed like communication slowed way down. I’m actually missing money, I guess from insurance but was quickly pressured to pay on my end without getting the full reimbursement. What I was told I would get, I’m about 2300.00 less. When confronted, I was given a really crappy message, which he quickly deleted, but I had already seen it. Basically I was told that he’s trying, he has all this child support to pay, he’s cutting me a deal, he’s here on his dime and he’s loosing money etc. for now the job seems to be done well overall. But there were moments certainly didn’t appreciate.

Excellent service from all employees. Justin has been great, always followed up on everything. Construction guys were also excellent and did great job.Had roofing windows and gutters done on entire house.

When Tara came to meet with me she was really informative, showed me a lot of options for roofing and what type of gutters would suit my home. I am ABSOLUTELY NOT a fan of dealing with contractors. I've had some terrible experiences with contractors in the past due to terrible communication, lack of follow through, roller coaster pricing and crazy long delay times.
Fortunately, I came across a company called Capital Construction.
We used Capital Construction this past summer for a storm repair /roofing and siding job after a friend pointed out some damage to my roof from a hail storm last fall.
Capital Construction was a breath of fresh air for me right from the start. I'll do my best to lay out my criteria explain how and why they impressed me.

#1 They are a local/Minnesota company. (Which is important to me)
#2 The communication between me, the company sales rep, the company managers and the company engineers was fantastic.
My sales rep (Ethan) was responsive and thorough. We began communicating by text and email. What stood out (right away) was that if Ethan didn't know an answer to a question, he would tell me. Ethan would then tell me his plan for finding the answers and follow up with me. (And he always did)
At one point, there were some questions that couldn't just be answered outright. Ethan brought the crew chief, a company manager and a siding specialist to investigate and discuss options. They clearly took my job and my situation seriously. It was clear to me that they knew what they were doing.
We made some decisions, got some estimates and within a couple days Ethan layed out a detailed plan.
#3 The job pricing was fair. I had seen cheaper bids and I had seen much more expensive bids. I was very comfortable with Capital Construction and the value they offered.
#4 Once the decisions were made and the plans layed out...The actual job was started within 10 days. Again, they showed me that they had their act together and absolutely prioritized my business.

The job took a few more days than planned, but was done beautifully. The crews were polite and tidy.
To top things off, Ethan stopped by the job site (almost daily) to check on our status and to do extra clean up after the crew left for the day. At one point he was walking around our house with a huge roller magnet...catching stray nails and metal shards.

My experience with Capital Construction was great. I would recommend them for any job at this point. They started on my house with roof repair and went on to do siding, soffit, facia and gutters. I couldn't be happier with the results.
If you are thinking about having some contractors out to look at doing some work, I highly recommend them!

The project was completed in a very professional and prompt manner. The quote was consistent with the end result and quality was above and beyond. The PM was excellent at communicating every stage of the project and would definitely do business with these guys in the future.

My husband and I cannot say enough good things about our experience with Capital Construction and our project manager Dan! We were clueless on where to begin with storm damage on an older roof, and Dan took us through the whole process and assisted us with all of the insurance paperwork. Making getting a new roof on the house, shed and garage a simple process. Dan took the time to walk us through everything from color choices to how to go about having our Dish network satellite reconnected. Everyone we dealt with at Capital Construction were prompt, knowledgeable, pleasant and kind. The team of workers that replaced our roof were professional and did a great job. Our roofs look great! Not to mention they did an awesome job with clean up. A special shout out to Theo on crew! One of the best things about Capital Construction is the communication skills. We were well informed and they were always on time, despite all the road construction.
Dan came back two times after the work was complete to fill out some paperwork as our shingles are now an upgrade, and they needed the project managers signature, so we could reduce our homeowners insurance. He also met with one of our neighbors, that we look after, and helped her to get a new roof!

We recently had a roof replaced on our home & garage due to hail damage, and the insurance process seemed rather daunting. Mathew Walter with Capital Construction was who we worked with and made the overall experience as stress free as possible. The first time our insurance adjuster came out, they had deemed the roof had not sustained enough damage to warrant a full replacement and Mathew climbed up there and took close up photos of the damage (versus the drone photos the initial adjuster had taken). This effort resulted in the roof qualifying for replacement through the insurance, which wouldn’t have happened without the extra patience and diligence that Mathew exhibited. Also getting the pay out from the insurance took longer than anticipated and our interaction with Mathew and Capital Construction was always professional, patient, and understanding. Their adherence to code and attention to detail was comforting as that isn’t always the case with contractors. Overall it was nice to have a contractor that took the time to focus on the needs of my home without feeling like I was inconveniencing their schedule. Will wholeheartedly recommend and should I need any work done, I’ll be sure to remember Capital Construction!
