This may seem rather lengthy, but please do read on!

To begin with, we went to Cabinets to Go (Raleigh, NC location) to plan an entirely new kitchen. The construction project was subsequently subcontracted to a company called MMG Construction and Remodel NC LLC. They are the ones contracted with Cabinets to Go to do the actual work of removal and installation.

A month or so after everything was paid for and coordinated, MMG Construction and Remodel NC LLC dispatched two absolutely superb artisans - Cory and Rusty - to handle the installation of the new kitchen. I'd be less than candid if I didn't remark that it was an absolute delight to watch them work.

We knew that the Demolition portion (tearing down and taking out the old) would take time, so prior to them arriving we got everything out of the kitchen, leaving only the cabinets (no appliances or plumbing had to be messed with). As a result, it allowed Cory and Rusty to begin the assembly and installation process much sooner than anticipated.

What was interesting is how they worked. Like old world Artisans, they took their time ensuring all was right, calculating and double-checking that nothing was off. As a result, they finished a day and a half earlier than was envisioned, and the end result was superb.

This new kitchen and the attention to detail rendered is a sight to behold. Now we're just waiting for the countertops to be measured (by a different company) and installed, which will take a few more weeks.

So folks - I highly recommend Cabinets to Go, and knowing that they use MMG Construction and Remodel NC LLC to do the actual work involved, should put many at ease. They come highly recommended in our book!
