Mike was very quick to respond and was able to take a look at my roof very quickly. Of the other 3 contractors I called, 2 never replied to my message and the other told me they were unable to come look at my roof until more than a week later. Mike made sure my roof didn't leak while waiting for supplies and went to great lengths to get the work done as soon as possible. Mike is also very personable and his prices seem very reasonable. We plan to hire him again for interior work.

ML Contracting did a great job helping seal up my soffit that had some holes where bees had gotten in. With the assistance of a local beekeeper they were able to seal up all the holes so the bees (hopefully) don't come back. They did the work quickly and came in under budget. I'll happily reach out to them with any other projects that I may have in the future!

ML Contracting did an excellent job installing zinc strips on my roof ridge line to counteract moss growth and in removing the extensive amount of existing moss. I was impressed by how gentle the crew were with the moss removal, using small
brushes, in order to protect the asphalt shingles underneath. Great attention to detail and knowledge about all things roof-related as well as home improvement. The crew were friendly, courteous, and cleaned up after the job perfectly. Highly recommended!

Mike and his crew were knowledgeable, and worked diligently until they finished, they replaced siding that was damaged and painted the trim and soffit and also replaced shingles damaged by a windstorm, if my house needs any work in the future I will immediately call ML Contracting

I had scheduled a contractor to install my bathroom cabinets. I had them ordered and when they arrived, he constantly put off installing them. After waiting 4 months, I Googled Contractors. I called ML Contracting and Mike called me back within the hour. He set up the appointment to install the following week, because I had waited for so long with the other contractor. He showed up when he said he would. The work had exceded my expectations.! As a senior citizen woman, I felt very comfortable around him and he his prices were very reasonable! I already have other projects for him to do!

The price was reasonable, even after some unforeseen problems arose, and he was able to schedule the job right away, and complete it as promised. We are extremely happy with Mike’s work from beginning to end. We hired him and his team to do carpentry in our home. I couldn’t believe my eyes when I saw the job completed, it looked like a new house. Mike didn’t cut any corners, and did a beautiful, very professional work on a job replacing old paneling and wallboard. He protected our belongings and left the space even cleaner than before. He was responsible, and detail-oriented and finished the project on time. We are so happy we found him and will never use anyone but Mike for future home projects.

We were due for a new roof preceding solar panel installation and Mike was contracted by the solar company to do the install. Unfortunately the solar company ordered the wrong color shingles and no one realized until the crew was done installing (to no fault of the roofers)! Mike was very responsive and so professional about the mishap and had his crew come back the next day to pull off the roof they had just installed and put on the correct shingles. He communicated with us the entire time and kept up These guys installed two roofs in 5 days!!!!! The crew was incredibly hardworking and paid close attention to detail, even fixing a small leak they didn’t know about ahead of time. Not one complaint was made about having to go back and redo their work and they did a beautiful job both times. I am so thankful to Mike and his crew for their diligence and professionalism and i would recommend them to anyone!!! Thank you!

He And his crew were here at 8.00 in the morning and worked until dark. They were very neat and were very careful of the plantings. His price was very reasonable and even thought he had to buy an extra sheet of plywood he did not charge for it. I will recommend Mike and his crew to all my friends.

Mike and team did great job. Pricing fair, fit us into schedule very quickly. Got double roof off and new roof asphalt on house and garage in 2 days. Multiple people working on roof and several constantly cleaning below, took very good care to move our planters etc. out of the line of debris before work each day. Materials had to be stored in our garage for a day, and Mike himself moved all the materials around so that we could get the garage closed for the evening. Mike very communicative on text. Definitely recommend!

Had my roof done in March 2022 after it couldn’t be put off any longer. He showed up when he said he would to give me an estimate, other companies I called either came at a random time or never showed at all. His estimate was a fair price for the work, and he used quality materials. It’s a good feeling to know I no longer need to be nervous when a storm rolls through. Will be using him for future home repairs.

Milked is very nice and easy to work with. He did a new roof, installed a new storm door, and repaired our siding, all in a very professional and a timely manner. Overall he does a very good job and I highly recommend him.

There were several heavy wind storms last winter, and after two of them, we had roof tiles in the yard instead of on the house. When I called, Mike came over immediately both times and repaired the damage. The second time, he took a closer look and let us know that not enough nails had been used by the previous roofer to anchor the tiles properly, so this was likely to happen yet again. He gave us the option to add a new layer over the original one; this time properly nailed down. The result is a beautiful and sturdy roof that will protect the house for many years. Thank you, ML!

Had a roof leak around the chimney, ML Contracting was responsive to my inquiry, was able to come the next day and fit me in between jobs, showed up when promised, charged a reasonable rate, and most importantly fixed the problem. Would use them again for all types of work in the future!

I had an inspection by another roofing company after a tree fell on our roof earlier this summer and the other guy said both sections of the home had to be replaced. Well gut feeling told us to get another opinion so we called ML contracting and the owner himself came and actually took photos for us to see that only one section was bearing the weight damage and with ending in sight for Covid every penny really counts. The owner saved us at least 1,000 dollars for that section with the rising material costs and labor as we have a multi family home. This guy is the best the only estimate you need. One and done. The roof section his company repaired is looking the best it has and he was very honest. ML CONTRACTING one stop needs are met the first time. Thanks to the owner for a quality Berkshire county company that can do pretty much anything that needs to be done. We will be getting new doors installed by this company soon. A*.

First, I had him replace the porch roofs on my rental house. He did a great job with that. He just finished replacing the roof on that house, and it was a tough one; 4 old roofs to remove.he just finished today, and I’m happy with the result.

Mike and his team were great. During the winter thaw it was apparent I had some serious leaks in my roof and it was in need of being replaced before the damage spread. His prices were competitive, and he was able to squeeze me into his schedule on short notice. In the middle of the job it was about to rain and they made sure to inspect the roof and seal it up so there wouldn’t be any issues. The work was done very well, within the time frame agreed to, and at no additional costs above the initial estimate. From bid to cleanup Mike and his team were a pleasure. They started and finished when promised, they pushed hard everyday and the quality of the work is spot on. They were so careful during final cleanup, walking every inch of lawn looking for nails and shingle pieces, raking the beds in front of the house and running over the driveway with a magnet that I probably won't even need to do a spring cleanup! I highly recommend them even though I know it will be harder to book them for our next project!

ML has been my 'go to' interior painter for many years. ML prices are reasonable and a great bargain considering the professional work done. ML also build great wooded stairs to the front porch at my prior address. i recommend calling ML for a quote when you have work to be done to your home.

This contractor Mike and his workers John and Tim were awesome. They delivered on every expectation. The workmanship was professional. They were actually fun to have around. The cleanup was good you would never know they were here. The roof looks very nice. I would recommend them without hesitation. I am sure we will have them back for other home projects. The price was also quite a bit lower than other quotes we received.

Due to the wind storm we had a couple of weeks ago I had some shingles, tar paper and ice shields that came off. I called ML contracting right away and with very short notice they came and cover the exposed wood, took the snow off the roof and the following week they were here replacing the roof. I just can't say thank you enough to Mike and his crew. Our roof looks great. Thank you again.

Hired this contractor to replace a roof on a house and barn... The work was shoddy - they reused materials, allowed the roof to leak during the project, did not file for a permit and left the house in worse shape than when they started. Stay away from these contractors!
Update - I see the contractor is claiming he has thousands of satisfied customers and that I am his only negative review because, in his opinion, I am difficult. My response is that he should not be disrespectful to me but to look at the photographs I have posted and then he can tell his customers that he is proud of what he did on my roof.

Nice guys that do some really quality work! Our new roof looks great and the price was unmatched in the area. Mike answered the phone the first time I called and found a way to squeeze us in quickly so we didn’t have to wait too long for our project to begin. It ended up being a much more intense project than expected (lots of rotting under the current roof) but they stayed late and worked extra to try and stay on schedule regardless of the increased workload. I would highly recommend him to anyone! Say yes to the big red truck
