Recently hired KJ Home Improvement to repair/replace fascia soffit on the second story of our home. It was due to wind damage the need for the repair. They also reattached some siding that had come loose. Joe responded promptly and kept in touch right up to the day of the work. He kept to his time frame and all work was completely efficiently. Very pleased and would not hesitate to use or recommend KJ Home Improvement with Joe Alfonso.

I needed to have some siding and roofing done on my home. Joe was honest and answered every question I had. He kept in touch and made me feel like I was a priority. Excellent pricing, excellent service, and an at home town service right down the street. Came on time in the morning cleaned up all the mess, which as a dog mom I appreciate the most. Amazing as always! Joe and his team just completed the second major project on my new house (replacing all exterior doors and frames) and did a perfect job! Joe worked with me on price and did the job for cheaper than the other quotes I got. His team was respectful of our home and did a great job cleaning up! We will be using KJ Home Improvement for all our future projects no doubt.

After reaching out to multiple contractors with no response, Joe got back to me in the same day. His team and him addressed a badly aged and worn roof on my shed promptly and efficiently. I had water damage in my bathroom and I was provided several strategies for fixing. Ultimately the ceiling and walls were demo-ed, re drywalled and repainted. It not only is functional now but looks great. My homeowner's insurance required railings be installed on my front steps and this too was completed by KJ Home Improvement. Throughout all of these projects, Joe communicated each step of the way and answered any questions I had. I would recommend KJ Home Improvement for any home projects.

This project involved replacing a deck over a flat section of roof that had had developed some leaks that seemed to be related to ice dams during the winter. A couple of other companies ghosted me after taking a look at the unusual way that the roof and deck had been put together originally, but Joe and Keith responded promptly and proposed replacing the deck and roof section completely. Although this was not the least expensive solution, it turned out to be an excellent call because there was more water damage beneath and around the deck than we had anticipated. They got it all shored up and reassembled quickly with a membrane roofing material and new composite decking and railing. It has transformed that space and the adjoining bedroom. They also replaced the interior ceiling and a wall where there was water damage. I am very pleased with their work and look forward to enjoying the deck for many years to come.

Joe and Keith and team did a great job giving my house an upgrade - new outside coat of paint and shutters plus a fabulous patio and walkway. They were conscientious, clean and kept me updated every step of the way. I highly recommend.

KJ Home Improvement is the best contracting company I’ve ever hired. I was in a serious pinch trying to get my farmstore in order before my season started and found this father/son duo on google. They came by the next day to go over all the work that needed to be done and then actually GOT IT DONE. And the icing on the cake was that they made sure to keep the project in my budget and did everything they could to save me money. Very personable and kind as well as professional. Finding a good contractor nowadays is really hard. Save yourself the headache and go with these guys.

Had a small roof job that other businesses had said I needed a brand new roof (I knew otherwise). K&J came in, checked out the problem, gave me a quote, and had it fixed within the week of me saying go for it! Will most definitely be using them again for other things needing to be done!

They do a great job every time they come out. I've had my skylight repaired and some tilework done and it all looks great.

Update: unfortunately had a water leak that created a mold issue under my laminate floor. They repaired everything and it looks brand new. Very professional, answered all my questions and cleaned up like they were never here!
