Reasonable price to do high chimney and roof work I would never do myself. Congenial, friendly, met my requests and expectations and did a great job.

I contracted MJJ construction to add “snow stoppers” to my roof in December. (I know, I should have had it done in the summer.) Jonathan, gentleman/owner of the Maine branch, made two trips to my home (72 miles each way) to clarify what I wanted done and to settle on a price that seemed quite reasonable to me. We signed a contract and I paid him 50% of the price, the balance to be paid upon completion.

What started as a week lead time became longer when we found that my choice of snow blocker was backordered until spring. I was offered several other styles and the next one I chose was also back ordered but should be in any day (according to the wholesaler). Jonnathan contacted me every week with an update and suddenly spring was here.

I decided to postpone the project for another year and asked for my deposit back expecting some hesitation. To my pleasant surprise a check was written to me without any hesitation and was accompanied by an apology for not being able to obtain my desired product.

Clearly MJJ construction is a reputable company who communicates well with it’s clients. I certainly will contact them when I have another project.

Mjj has done a lot of roofing for us. They are licensed/insured, and do great quality work. They work safely, and clean the job-site exceptionally well when completing a roof project. I would highly recommend them.

Very good to deal with, professional and courteous. Communication was good and the workmanship was very good. A little bit pricey but I guess it's a sign of the times. I'd use them again.

MJJ construction gets 5 star ratings from me for: matching their quoted price with no request for additional charges, providing what they said they would provide, doing the job WHEN they said they would do it without delays or excuses, working safely with fall protection, very efficient and courteous crew, re-shingling my 26 square roof 2-story home in one day, thorough inspection of my roof and attic before quoting the job, meeting with me and my insurance company several times prior to quoting the job and lobbying on my behalf, protecting and caring for my property during the job, cleaning up after the job, etc. I also expect they will respond if I call with any concerns in the future. They obviously are a very experienced and efficient roofing company.

Jonnathan responded immediately to my request for an inspection and estimate for siding repair. He brought a color-matching palette with him. The job, a small one, couldn't be initiated for 3 months due to red tape with a third party who, having done the damage, would disburse the payment. J. remained polite and professional for many weeks as I communicated with him and the third party. The Monday morning after the check had finally been disbursed and MJJ had clearance to begin working, all was taken care of within a couple of hours. No mess left onsite, and the repair was entirely satisfactory.

Excellent job showed up during cold season and did the job in record time. Would recommend them to anybody very happy thank you.

We were very happy with Jonnathan and his team. He responded within 24 hours of my initial online query, was here the next day for a quote and within a week had a solid solution in place for our aging slate roof's ridge cap. This copper craftsmanship will last for generations, just like the old one had done!
