Very thorough inspection, and done incredibly promptly! Documents from the inspection were descriptive, included photographs of any potential concern areas and we opted for the 3D tour option which was quite impressive. John answered my questions prior to the inspection taking place, which was helpful since I live out of state and wouldn't be at the inspection. Ryan, my home inspector, answered my questions after I received his reports. Both explained items to me that I wasn't familiar with due to current home I own doesn't have same equipment or items inspected. Both were very responsive to my emails and phone calls. I would hire them again for a home inspection.

I’m extremely disappointed in this company for allowing such a POOR job inspecting my septic system!! I’m a home owner/seller and this company came in to handle the septic inspection and destroyed my lawn that I do dearly pay to have - they didn’t even try to salvage the grass to put back over the dug up area. Also - the lack of respect for my lawn furniture and it’s placement after their SHAWDY Job is shameful! POOR FORM PILLAR AND POST!

This is my second time purchasing a home. Compared to the inspection on our first home, the inspection performed by Pillar to Post this time around was much more thorough and professional. All reports were sent electronically so I have access at all times. All areas of the house were inspected and even the most minor of "issues" was reported. By far a much better process than we had dealt with previously. I would definitely recommend this company to anyone looking to have their future home inspected!

I put an offer in on a remote camp in central Maine and engaged Pillar to Post for a home inspection. John Goulet did an excellent job on the inspection. He climbed deep into a tiny, dirty, dusty crawlspace under the camp to undercover serious structural damage (8-10K in repairs) I think many home inspectors would have just "peeked in" the crawlspace and moved on. He also climbed up on the roof and found many other minor issues. Definitely would use him and again and highly recommend to others.
