I called MJ with a question to cut down cabinet doors. MJ came out the next morning. We discussed what needed to be done. He took the doors home and brought them back later in the same day.
Wow! I was expecting several days before I got them back.
The doors look like nothing had been changed.

Mike came out to give us a free consultation. He was helpful and knowledgeable. We were looking for more of a partial assistance with the project and discovered that Mike was not the right fit, but he still stayed to discuss our plans and provide his expertise and suggestions. He was an outstanding guy and will keep him in mind for future projects.

What a great contractor! MJ Bowman Construction (Mike and his crew) built 2 large fences on two separate properties for me with large gates that do not sag. I hate sagging gates. He also has done remodels for two of my friends. The work looks lovely. Keep it up Mike! Highly recommended.

MJ Bowman Construction is a terrific company to work with! We used them to install LVP, remodel our half bath, paint/replace all the interior doors and update/paint the trim on our first floor as well as work on our shower and tub surfaces. They were responsive, prompt, professional, courteous and cleaned up the areas they were working on before leaving each evening. Top quality company! I highly recommend them for building new or remodeling!

Very professional and reliable. Did a great job repairing damage after a pipe burst in my attic. Finally a contractor who is a normal person and who does not send weirdo workers and subcontractors to our house.

Mike turned our patio into an enclosed Sunroom, making it accessible from the house for my husband’s special needs. He put a split heating/cooling system back there. It’s amazing!!! Everyone that comes to our house is amazed and remarks that it feels like they’re transported into a forested cabin (and we’re in the city). When it was up over 100 degrees, that cooling system worked beautifully. If you have a patio that you would like turned into a sunroom, have Mike and his crew make you one of those.

Mike and his team did a beautiful job. Communication was excellent. They showed up on time with everything they needed to finish the job and did so in a timely fashion. I would absolutely work with them again and cannot recommend them highly enough.

Paramedics had to break my door after an accident. Mike and his team came to my rescue, installing a new door before the bad weather hit. He is meticulous and his fellow worker Jessie did a great job. Cleanup and installation was seamless. Will definitely use his company again.

Mike and his team renovated our bonus room and living room, adding an extra bathroom and custom built-in cabinetry. Mike was honest and upfront from the very beginning, giving us realistic timelines and what to expect from our first renovation experience. He was communicative throughout the whole process and took my pickiness in stride haha. We had very few hiccups during the renovations and any that we did encounter were resolved quickly and efficiently— for example, a temporary plastic cap cracked on our faucet, resulting in a leak that we didn’t find for a over a day as it was above our garage and we parked on the street during the work; Mike came out at 9pm to resolve the issue and our timeline was delayed only a day or 2.
I’d definitely recommend Mike and his team. I’m already plotting what to renovate next as this process was so much easier than I anticipated!

We’ve had Mike help us out on several projects. He’s always very professional and respectful of us and our needs. One nice and not so common thing we’ve noticed about Mike is he cleans up after himself really well. Which unfortunately is not as common as you might hope so it’s always nice knowing that if he’s doing a job, we won’t be finding lost nails or staples or any other kind of debris in our house or our yard. We have 3 kids, aged 6 years, 3 years, and 5 months old, and he is always able to do what he needs to do working around us and the (sometimes) chaos that is around us our kids are very curious and have lots of questions and he always takes the time to answer any questions they have and that just means a lot! We will definitely be calling him in the future for help with other projects!

I’ve had MJ Bowman do several projects in our 1952 home. High quality work, eye for detail, he doesn’t leave until it’s right. You can tell Mike takes pride in his craft. He patched a hole in the ceiling that was left after the old wood stove pipe was removed, and expertly matched the funky, artsy original texture. He also repaired an accent wall, feathered and blended everything so well you can’t even tell there was a repair. My lazy Susan in the corner cabinet was driving me crazy, all off kilter, wouldn’t spin correctly. I don’t even know what he did to it but it works perfectly, so smooth now. Sounds like a small thing but it seriously lessened so much daily frustration! I also have one of his original woodwork pieces, a GORGEOUS wall mounted live edge knife display with hidden inset magnets. Not only did he design and custom make it but he mounted it for us in the kitchen. He is clean and courteous, and upfront about pricing which I really value, he doesn’t lowball and then hike up the cost later. Just a complete professional. Will definitely have him back for future projects!
