We have used 3R construction over the past 3 years on our condominiums that needed a lot of work.
They had such a great crew who worked seamlessly together.
This year they have new crew members and I was worried because I figured they might not be as good. Chris was so easy to work with. Will and Chris listened to my concerns and communicated thruout the process. We are still having work done but so far it's been a great experience. I find them very respectful and prompt and they leave the space neat and tidy.

The job: Kitchen & Bath refresh: flooring, counter tops, painting, new fixtures including lighting.
Great work! I liked that I knew the exact day different work would be done. The workers were fast, thorough and courteous. Their suggestions saved us money and time. Jeff and crew are top notch.

Called to schedule someone to come give us a quote on water damage in our home and refused to do so until I paid deposit for the work they hadn't done yet and tried to get me to sign contracts.. I just wanted a quote so I could look around and choose what company I wanted and they would not provide that. They said I had to prepay and sign contract before they would even tell me the prices. I'll never recommend them or go back for future things.

3R’s team was respectful, knowledgeable, and helpful. All questions answered. Love Dominic as team leader and hopefully he will be available when we call again. Office staff was great also. Very pleasant.. Jacob, the electrician was hard working and friendly and fun.

The 3R’s Construction team did a great job on extensive repairs and remodeling of our farm house originally built in 1921 and its stand alone garage. This was a complicated job that included a new standing seam metal roof, a complete kitchen remodel, addition of two new bathrooms and remodel of a third, repair and rebuild of a portion of the foundation, replace all piping, extensive electrical work and full repainting of interior and exterior. They completed the job within their budget estimate. They were also a pleasure to work with, responsive, and enjoyable to interact with. If we have projects in the future large or small, we intend to have 3R’s do them.

Yena have been helping us with work orders and getting our maintenance work orders get scheduled. Yena is a quick responder and a very dependable communicator. Yena, you rock!!

The team at 3Rs Construction was great. This is the second time I have used them for a bathroom remodel, and while this job wasn’t nearly as in-depth as the first one, the attention to detail and customer service were still outstanding. We went from blah to beautiful

We enjoyed 3Rs staff visiting our construction training program very much. They are passionate about people and learning - we plan on continuing to collaborate with them.

Their communication is very poor. They have the fake professionalism down really well, but if you ask them simple questions they get offended very easily.

I called them asking about doing a sliding glass door install in a wall that didn't have one. I sent them a couple pictures and they gave me a quote of 20,000 dollars. Pretty high from my expectations, but I asked simply "20k for a sliding glass door?" and I originally sent them that email because I was pretty shocked at the prices and they sent like 4 invoices filled with a bunch of stuff I didn't understand. The guy replied but was pretty sarcastic and basically said yeah its more then just a door. I called them trying to get more details because speaking through email was obviously not going to inform me as to why it costs so much and they seemed to be taking what I said the wrong way. I then spoke with some one to just have some come out and look at the project and maybe we can discuss why it costs so much and I can be better informed. I setup the appointment with some one else and everything was good to go. Their secretary called later and was pretty condescending with me. She told me she could get some one to come out for an estimate in a couple weeks(after we kinda had a strange augmentative phone call) and then proceeded to schedule my estimate out 4 weeks. Then today she sent me an email saying she talked with the owner and now they don't want my business. I have no idea why they are so touchy when a customer just wants to know why they are charging so much. I am a software developer. I am not a construction worker. So maybe in the future you can actually explain things to people instead of being so sensitive?

Duane, the owner, personally came and changed our locks and repaired our sliding glass door locking mechanism. He was professional and kind. He even cut PVC pipe to add extra security to our sliding glass doors. Duane knew that we needed to feel safe in our home and went above and beyond to ensure that we did. I highly recommend 3Rs Construction & Remodeling, a company who truly cares about customers.

They replaced 4 windows, new trim inside and outside, painted said trim. They did a wonderful job. My windows are beautiful. Dominic, Joe, Tom and Will are very pleasant, hard working and do excellent work. I have 2 more windows to replace and when I’m ready I’m having them back to do those. Thank you 3R’s Construction for sending me these angels.

Do not use this company. After they found out I was using insurance they charged whatever they felt like and when asked to justify their charges I was told no and my insurance adjuster and I were hung up on. They charged almost double what insurance estimated the charges to be. The owner of the company called me hostile when I confronted him with this issue and told me everyone has bad days regarding the employee that hung up on my adjuster and I. I left a yelp review as well which is still in my review history but conveniently it doesn't show when you look their company up on Yelp. Red flags all around. Don't give this company your business.

I cannot say my experience with this company was very good. The flooring is repaired and looks good, but my first issue is that we had requested quite a bit more work initially, and after the floor was complete the scheduler seemed confused why we were asking about the walls being repaired as well, which was brought up in our first email with them…
After the floor was completed, we noticed our dryer outlet was no longer attached to the wall, and sparks were flying out of it! The worker had knocked it off the wall and did not notice, and when we contacted the company about the issue they ended up charging us for their workers mistake. But that all is the least of my issues. The final invoice came in, and it is well above and beyond any level of reasonable charging. To break it down, it cost over 2 grand to move a water heater and reinstall it. I could’ve bought a top of the line water heater, had it installed, and STILL save money!
I think the minute they heard about us using insurance they just saw dollar signs and made up charges.
Never working with them again and I wish I never did in the first place.

Best Radon Remediation Company Ever! They are experts in the field. At the purchase of this home the radon was supposed to be fix. The prior contractor scammed the seller, not doing the work except throwing in a fan. We were at 7+ readings and had to get it fixed. We found 3Rs information on the Oregon Radon page. 3R's came in and got everything sealed, put in the correct barrier and the correct fans. They were always timely and professional. They were adamant on meeting industry standards. We are now happily below 2.0 every day. We are breathing with clean air now. We are so happy we found and hired 3Rs. Go with the best and stay away from the rest.

Melissa and Josiah were awesome: I used 3R's to install an above range microwave. They had to remove cabinetry, build a new shelf, used their sub-contractor electrician to install a dedicated breaker & outlet. They started and completed the project per the estimated schedule. Wife is happy so I'm happy!!! Thank You Cathe, Duane & Jeff.

3Rs Construction and Remodeling is the best contractor we have used by far. Every contact we have had with them has been professional and courteous. Their work is impeccable. We would highly recommend this company to anyone needing a remodel. We will use them again.

Best service I've ever received from construction company! I really can't speak highly enough of this company and the individuals who work there. Then really stepped up and provided me with excellent service in a time of need. All of the crews went above and beyond to get my mitigation, demolition, and remodel done. I was very impressed with the finished product of my bathroom remodel! Every person I encountered at the company were very professional and knowledgeable. Ariah was incredible to work with, she was very on top of things, good at communicating, and over all a very kind person! Melissa was very personable and continued to advocate for me when dealing with the insurance company. I am very appreciative of all she did. Both Melissa and Ariah were awesome to work with and treated me like family throughout my whole experience.

All and all, 3R's was a quality and professional choice. I would highly recommend them to anyone. They definitely earned my business for the rest of my life!

Update......Huge mistake trying to work with this company. I should have trusted my first impression of them. They take your money and they do not provide you what you've paid for.

Update: I received a call from Duane who had explained the reason for being unable to keep our scheduled appointment. I understand now that he has explained the unfortunate events and I appreciate his willingness to make it right. I am looking forward to working with them.

I had scheduled a kitchen remodel estimate that was weeks out due to their limited availability. I had confirmed the appointment twice including the day before the appointment as my husband had to take the day off work. I received a call the morning of the appointment stating the project manager had called in sick and the appointment had to be rescheduled. This is a huge red flag about their business ethics and I am not interested in working with this company.

Had them do a radon abatement at our now home. Great communication and work. Everything done timely and professionally. Highly recommend!

Extremely quick response time, professional, and fantastic work! Not only did he point out the things that needed to be repaired, but he also managed to give a rough estimate on the price it would cost to get things done. As an added bonus, he explained just how important certain repairs were, and the effects of leaving them unmanaged, then helped me weigh my options for which ones needed to get done sooner and which could be delayed if needed! 10/10 would use again!

They give of their time and resources to help others in various ways. 3Rs has been a consistent donor to my son’s baseball team for several years. In addition, they have been very generous to help with many community outreach events through my church. Not only have they given financially, but they also serve on their own time to help out and make these events run smoothly! They go above and beyond to get involved and support community events!

Not only do they work professionally and timely, but they also work very closely with the community. They have sponsored multiple local sports teams and they have been a big part financially and present for my own kids teams. Quality work from a company that gives back to their community!

He sent his team out and they were so helpful and were able to find the leak and got it fixed in no time! We received amazing communication from the staff from project conception to completion. I can’t express enough how happy we are that we got to work with Duane and his team at 3R’s!!!

We had problems with a toilet, two bathroom sinks (two different kinds of repairs), and a refrigerator repair with the water dispenser. 3Rs came promptly, did the repairs expertly, and were very friendly and easy to work with. We would DEFINITELY call them again.

3r’s replaced all of our windows on our Home. They were professional, always on time and cleaned up after themselves. Would recommend them for any kind of work. Their estimate was right on and the work did not go over what they told us.

We asked for an estimate to replace two boards on our house that had some dry rot. Not only did the person who came out not wear a mask while coming to our door, but the estimate to replace 2 boards was nearly $1000. Obviously they just did not want to do a smaller job.

My husband and I live in an apartment complex that 3Rs has been doing some work on. We have had a wonderful experience with them, the guys doing the work are polite, courteous, and very professional they are replacing all the doors on the property and when they got to ours they took my husband's PTSD into consideration and were very accommodating with making sure they notified us before making any loud noises and putting our door in a day early. I highly recommend them for anyone wanting construction work done on their home.

I called on a Monday with a last minute request for some miscellaneous repairs prior to a home inspection for the sale of our house. They arrived the very next day, on time, and prepared for the variety of tasks. Ken and James were great and the price was just right. I highly recommend them for any home repairs you may need. Jobs they did for us: drywall patching, squeaky floor repair, various tasks in our crawl space.

I was on a budget and they were able to get all the things I needed done within it. Also they got my estimate quickly and kept with what they quoted me. Amazing work

I've needed to have professional testing for radon in our home since we learned from a home test that our count was high. When I left a message on 3Rs 'contact us' home page asking them to test for radon, I was skeptical of hearing back. The next morning Duane called and scheduled to come by and bring testing equipment. He was here within the hour! I find this kind of service is unusual and greatly appreciated! Looking forward to working with you on this radon event as well as on several other projects. Thank you!

Called them for an estimate on Monday. They scheduled one for the next Monday. Person came out, we went over details, and I waited for the estimate. After a week or two, what I got back was a joke. There were so many basic mistakes. The worst part was the price.. $158,055.00!! The only things I wanted was to remove a wood-stove chimney, replace a couple of windows, new siding, new porch, and new deck. I can almost build a new house for that price. All other estimates were in the $60k range. Just wow.

Awful awful. We asked them to come out to bid a mold removal project. We got quoted 20 grand........for a project that shouldn't even be 1/4 of that. It's not like my house is infested with mold. When he called my husband to give us the quote he said it was great to meet me, and I wasn't even the one there. MY HUSBAND was the one who met him there. He was there maybe 20 minutes according to my husband. Obviously they don't care about their customers, or want to give them the light of day. We will be going somewhere else.

3 R's construction did an amazing job on our bathroom and entryway remodel. They were invaluable with dealing with our home insurance company and helped us get through the difficult waters that the insurance company was putting us through.They were friendly, professional, and a pleasure to work with. I highly recommend them and will definitely use them for future home improvement.

We were in the middle of selling our house, and the buyer’s inspection found a couple of surprises that our pre-inspection did not. 3Rs responded to our request for work with a tight deadline and even finished ahead of schedule. They didn’t try to upsell us or pressure us into doing more. As they dug further into the job, they found an additional surprise. They could have charged us more but instead stuck to their original quote. They were willing to work with our buyers, as well, to ensure that the buyers were comfortable with the work that was being done. The 3Rs team has been an integral part of the sale of our home and we’re incredibly grateful for their partnership. We’ll absolutely be working with them on projects in our new home and highly recommend them.

I found myself in a position where we needed a contractor I could trust- and 3R’s came highly recommended. We had wind damage to my late father’s home four hours away from where I live, and dealing with the insurance issues and trying to oversee the work would be difficult at best. 3’R’s handled everything from start to finish, including the insurance negotiations! 3’R’s did exactly as they promised, and I would not hesitate to recommend them!

Duane and his crew at 3Rs are really top notch. We were not really expecting to have to tear our kitchen apart and re-model it, but that is how it played out. 3Rs had originally come to our house to clean up a mess under our house caused by some old pipes. The service itself was at a price that was hard to beat. When Dom had finished his work under our house, he noticed the water damage that had recently occurred from the dish washer in our kitchen. After a few pictures and a meeting with Duane, 3Rs was able to work with our insurance company to replace everything that was damaged, and then some. Duane and Casey worked with us, and around our schedule, to get everything done to our specifications. Our satisfaction was one of their main concerns, and that is something to appreciate.

We needed a section of underlayment and subfloor boards replaced quickly before installing laminate flooring in our newly purchased home. 3R's Construction Management were able to evaluate and repair the floor section the same day I called. I was very impressed with 3R's, and would use them again for home repair or remodeling needs in the future.

During the recent heavy rains, we had water seepage into the basement of a property we own. We called Duane at 3R's who promptly sent a crew member to investigate and mitigate the formation of toxic mold. The quick response certainly saved us a significant amount of money in mold remediation. Even more impressive is the fact that Duane had just had a significant surgery, yet still responded to our needs. Thank-you 3R's for a job well done!!

Duane West, CEO, helped me tremendously in dealing with a mold issue in my apartment. Duane has gone above and beyond to provide professional advice on some very complex remediation issues, and I highly recommend him without exception. The management company was saying there was no mold, and Duane pulled one of his guys off of another job to have him at my place in Monmouth in less than an hour to get the contact tests done and sent off to a third-party testing facility out of state -- which provided a very detailed, professional report confirming molds that I could use with attorneys and with the management company. Duane's immediate grasp of the gravity of the situation and his willingness to act quickly made all the difference in my outcome. He has been unfailingly thorough, cooperative, and professional; and I will definitely use him and 3R's Construction for any future construction needs or mold remediation issues.

After 21 years in our previous home, our family moved to Salem. Renovation of our newly acquired home was necessary to meet the needs of our family. We completely gutted and rebuilt the kitchen. This meant we basically had nowhere to prepare and store food, Duane and his team worked quickly and appliances that were installed first were the ones we needed most. In order to keep the dust down, our home clean, and protect our little dog, the work area was secured at the end of every work day. The end result is a kitchen that belongs in a magazine!
In addition 3R's installed a kitchenette in our lower level and expanded a half bath into a gorgeous full bath while using a tight space very efficiently.
3R's not only does renovations but has come when our home, that was empty for at least a year prior to our purchase, became riddled with huge spiders. He sent someone out very quickly and sprayed the house for both spiders and ants.
3R's has also performed work cleaning and repairing our gutters; killing and cleaning moss from the roof; and repaired a burst pipe. For the burst pipe, we called late at night. Duane immediately helped us turn off the water by giving us instructions over the phone and then he and some of his crew came very quickly to bring fans, fix the problem, help clean, and call the insurance because all work is insured and guaranteed! 3R's has also pulled up carpet, cleaned the area under the house, installed new bathroom hardware, and installed all our light fixtures.
Needless to say Duane, Tammy, and crew have been a God send to a family that has been ripped off in the past and have been left feeling unsatisfied. When working with 3R's you become part of the family. We knew every person's name as they were introduced at the door. You are treated with respect, care, and they realize how much is costs YOU to go through a renovation. They are a truly caring, careful, and quality company that we will use, probably, forever.
