I called Dakota Roofing because I had Googled "masonry in Salem" and Dakota's listing came up. Trevor answered my call and told me they don't do masonry work but he would be happy to ask around for a recommendation. Trevor called me back that same day with the name of a licensed masonry contractor, who ended up repairing our chimney. So even though Dakota Roofing didn't do any work for us, their employee, Trevor, gave me excellent service that he did not have to take the time to do. I wanted to leave this review to tell him "Thank You".

I’ve had leaks around the chimney for about three years now despite having had another roofer out twice. Dakota had someone out in a few days after I called them who found the likely source. They were very professional and easy to communicate with. We still haven’t seen how the roof holds up in a rain storm, but if this review hasn’t changed - know the house is still dry!

Ryan and his team has been doing a great job with our roof. IWe have challenging and unseal situation. Wre have flat roof that was damage on Dec 26 due to the strong winds, a part of membrane ripped off. Ryan was here to assess the damage in less than 24 hours when first called. It has been a challenging situation as mentioned above out off these guys control. We had to called him a few times and Ryan has call us back in promptly and addressed our concerns within 24 hours or less. Ryan and his team has worded REALLY hard to get our problem fixed. Our homes roof was damaged in the wind storm of March 2024. Ryan Johnson with Dakota roofing spent 7 months in negotiations with our insurance company. Ryan Johnson is the most professional person I've ever met in construction. My fiance and I are senior citizens so a lot of this process we had no idea how to do. But with Ryan's help we ended up with a total roof replacement, Paid in full by our insurance company. The three man crew they sent to do the work on the house was extremely professional. These men worked from daylight to dark for 3 days to roof our house before a rainstorm started. I can't ever say enough how professional this company is and happy we are that we used Dakota roofing. The crew was so professional ,they tarped All of our plants, and not one bit of roofing debris was left around the house when they were done. I have been in construction for most of my life and I've never seen such a professional job as these men did at our home. I called Dakota Roofing to give me a bid on some dry rot on my roof. Thomas came out and assessed the work that needed to be done. He wrote up a bid for me, explaining everything he was gonna do and the price was very reasonable.

We contacted Dakota Roofing for assessing a damp wall situation and Tiffany came to give us a thorough check up and very reasonable diagnosis. By reasonable I mean she literally cross checked evidence in various points of the roof to pinpoint the problem. That is very impressive! We asked two more roofers for the same checkup and Tiffany gave us the best one and we discussed and figured out a solution very quickly. All the scheduling and actual roofing also went lightening fast, with our chosen special color of shingles (Bourbon from OwensCorning TrueDefinition) shipped in from a neighboring state. We also had fascia boards widened and replaced to fix the issue and everything was at a best price also. Definitely go for Dakota Roofing! I want to recommend it to everyone who needs roof repair or a replacement in Corvallis! And ask for Tiffany for sure!

What a great experience. I've been going through a nightmare due to a roof leak caused by a solar panel repair. Ryan came out right away to survey the damage and provide me with valuable insights.

Ryan immediately jumped into action by crawling through our poorly ventilated attic space to capture photos and details. He also inspected the outside of our roof to verify the repairs. I feel immensely more comfortable after speaking to Ryan and can't imagine hiring another roofer to make any repairs or additions to our home.

I called Dakota Roofing as I had a small leak in my garage and needed to find out why. I was blessed that Tiffany Stoffer responded as the Project Manager. Before she came out to provide a free quote, we spent about an hour on the phone. She was looking at aerial pictures of the home to get prepared for her visit the next day. She arrived on time the next day and did a thorough evaluation. She climbed up in the attic, she walked out on the roof and she took aerial photos from her drone. She was there about 1.5 hours. I had asked for 3 different quotes, trying to decide what to replace and when. I received the quotes promptly and the prices were very competitive. I commited to the project on a Thursday, she ordered suppplies on Friday and work began the following Monday. Her customer service was incredible. I could always reach her with questions and she was on site every day. I am extremely pleased and I will be hiring Tiffany and Dakota Roofing for another home this summer.

All I can say about Dakota Roofing is that I owe them my health and sanity as well as my garage. My homeowners insurance not only declined a claim to repair the hole in the roof that resulted in an enormous leak and mold everywhere, but they also told me that they were not going to renew my coverage unless the repairs were done before the renewal date... um, which was 4 weeks away. Annnnnd right in the middle of the high season when contractors have been booked out for months . Dakota Roofing - and especially Ryan Johnson, our project manager - made it happen, *despite* the incredibly tight time frame. He was diligent, professional, responsive, incredibly patient with my stress levels, and managed to get the project done well ahead of the deadline. And these guys did more than just replace the roof. They also replaced several dry rotted joists and support beams, and sanded/repainted the entire structure. His crew did good work, they were respectful, they cleaned up after themselves on a daily basis... And we now have a much more solid and waterproofed garage. I don't know how they managed to do it, but do it they did. Don't hesitate to call Dakota Roofing.

Dakota roofing came out to my home in November 2021 and completely knocked it out of the park. Not only did they not give us some BS excuse of being booked out through the winter but they actually took care in making sure that their crew was ready to go on the dry days and had the roof completely sealed in before the rain hit. Their price was very fair and their quality of work was exceptional. I had some very special requests about needing to not be disturbed while they were working and they did everything perfect. The work was completed in a timely manner with zero disruption to the home. Sam was the lead on our job and he ran a tight ship. His crew was happy and all new their role.
