Fast, Professional, On Time and Excellent Craftsmanship. My job was small, but that didn’t mean I was insignificant. The JS crew gave me great service.

Jeremy and his crew took good care of us with a recent gutter install job on our 3-story house. We had previously used another contractor who could not complete the job due to the pitch and elevation. Jeremy's crew knocked it out without any issue or delay.

Great company, would recommend them to anyone.

Jeremy was informative and gave a comprehensive overview in our first visit. His team replaced all of my gutters and added a new downspout--all of which corrected some long-standing issues with overflow. Unfortunately, since my home was built without fascia, the new gutters vibrate *very* loudly when it's windy. To Jeremy's credit, his crew has returned twice and attempted to fix the issue, but it continues--probably due to the way my roof was built. Regardless, the new gutters are a huge improvement in heavy rains.

After the massive ice storm about 18 months ago, my gutters were barely clinging to life—literally hanging on by a single nail. I talked to Jeremy shortly after the storm, and he came out to take a look. He gave me a quote, talked me through the whole thing, and even let me know they handle haul-away so I wouldn’t be stuck with mangled gutters scattered around my yard. That matters when you’ve got teens, dogs, and zero desire to step on a gutter nail.

At the time, I thought I’d be able to move forward with the job—but life had other plans. Fast forward nearly a year later, I finally had the budget to get it done. Cue me digging through my phone like an amateur detective trying to find Jeremy’s number because of course I lost the note I had it written on. When I finally found it and reached out with a “Sorry I’m (checks calendar)…a year late,” he didn’t even flinch.

That’s when I realized he was the same Jeremy from JM Smith I’d seen recommended on Nextdoor. (Which, let’s be honest, can be a bit hit-or-miss. This was a hit.)

Today, Jeremy and his crew showed up with a couple of ladders and got right to work. In what felt like no time at all, I had brand-new, white gutters—exactly what I wanted. The corners are reinforced (huge for drainage problem areas), everything was cut to the correct length (unlike the last crew 10 ish years ago who… cut the house instead of the gutters—I wish I were kidding), and they sealed everything up tight to make sure it’s built to last.

The work is clean, the price was fair, and the whole experience was low-stress from start to finish. Will I use them again? Hopefully not for gutters at least!—because I won’t need to for a long, long time. But would I recommend JM Smith to anyone even thinking about gutters? Absolutely.

The crew did a great job cleaning out the gutters and making sure all the goop was cleaned up and not just left on the ground. They also installed gutter guards that after a few heavy downpours have proven to be a great investment. The crew did a great job, were very polite, and did the work in a quick timeframe.

These guys did a beautiful job on my brand new 6-inch black gutters for my whole house. Price was very reasonable. Gutters are all sloped correctly, installed properly, and look awesome. Painting the house obsidian so the black gutters nearly look invisible since they matched with the paint. They left absolutely no mess at all. They replaced all my fascia board and fixed a damaged rafter too. I'll be having Jeremy do some more work on my house soon (their company does more than just gutters). 10/10. Highly recommend.

May 2024 J M Gutters responded quickly to my inquiry. Jeremy showed me the gutters and material together with an explanation of the gutter guards. The yard has a lot of trees and the guards made sense. Jeremy provided a bid at the time which was very good price. We decided on the spot to have them do the work. The crew showed up on the day scheduled, and completed tear off, installation of gutter and guards, and hauled away old material by the end of the day. I had a question about 2 of the corners and the crew was out within the next day looked at my concern and we decided all was fine. Good job Jeremy and crew.

The crew for JM Smith showed up on the day and time we picked. The two crew members introduced themselves to me and explained what they were going to do. It only took them 3 1/2 hours to take off the old gutters and down spouts and install the new ones. The new ones have gutter guards on them, so no more cleaning out the gutters. Jeremy and his crew completed my gutters in Salem today. I am very happy about everything they did. Jeremy was very responsive and quick to schedule. He kept to his schedule, communicated well, and completed the work quickly. His team was very hard working and professional. I felt very comfortable with them at my home. They took good care of everything (not damaging landscaping) and cleaned up all debris. The price was reasonable and he stuck to the original bid, with some minor adjustments per my request. What made me most happy was his communication. I am a project manager for bridge construction projects and often find contractors who won't talk through things with me. He took time to talk with me and problem solve in regards to down spout placement without condescending or talking over me. As a woman I very much appreciated this. He was honest in regards to price (didn't jack up the bid). I highly recommend -10 out of 10 for him and his crew, who also did a great job.

JM Smith sent a crew to repair two corner brackets. They were prompt and courteous.One worker went up on the roof to check to see that all was in good repair..After they finished the job they cleaned up the area. If you need gutters I would recommend Jeremy at JM Smith gutters.

On the day of the install Jeremy contacted me when they were showing up. He made sure and asked where he parked his truck and trailer would be okay. They started working right away and completed the job in a few hours, cleaned up after themselves and had me inspect the work before I paid him. Overall was a very good experience and I would recommend him and his crew to friends and family.

Reasonably priced and gutter cleaning was done well, in looking at the cutters after service they were cleaned out but not cleaned or sprayed down on one of the trouble areas. Well priced for full replacement when that comes.

Would prefer an option for full downspout and drain cleaning but that is different equipment. I picked up a jet cleaning head for my pressure washer to clean the underground drains to the street.

Jeremy initially was asked to repair a neglected section of gutter. Quoted me two prices-one for just the repair and one for total replacement-and it was a no-brainer! We chose the total gutter replacement for many reasons but primarily the great price! He answered all of my questions and worked around my schedule! I had a complex gutter replacement job. My home has trim under the gutter that created a challenge to installation of the new gutter. Jeremy suggested an option to assure there would be no future dry rot with the trim underneath the gutter. He installed flashing to deflect any water away from the trim. This has been a problem in the past and I am very pleased that this will avoid future issues. The gutter looks great and is a welcome addition to our home.
