We were out of town up at Snowshoe. Had issues getting my 2024 Gmc sierra to run. Found out it was so cold the diesel fuel had gelled up. In calling my dealership back home, they suggested that I find a nearby gm dealer for my gm roadside assistance. It turned out Mitchell Chevrolet was the closest. I called them to ask about picking my truck up and putting it in their garage to warm up, they were extremely helpful and the price they quoted was about 1/3th of what other businesses had quoted. They right away sent someone out with a rollback. While waiting, I went out and started my truck, it seemed to run fine ,I'm guessing the additive I put in earlier had worked. I called Mitchell Chevrolet, talked to Amanda and understanding that she had sent the truck already, I met him shortly after leaving Snowshoe. I stopped by the dealership to pay them something for their efforts and to my surprise they said I owed them nothing and they were happy my truck was running good again. They also instructed me on what to do to prevent this in the future. I'm not sending in this review because they didn't charge anything (which I think they should have). I writing this because of their quickly answering the phone, promptness and honesty in helping me with my truck. It is as if they put themselves in my shoes. I highly recommend them, for this one act of kindness from them goes a long way in my book. I shared my experience with my dealership in Mt airy Nc and Terri one of the service advisors suggested I write a review to share this with others. For she was impressed as well.

Vacationing from out of state when GMC 4WD service indicator light came on. Stopped by Mitchell Chevrolet. Front desk staff very friendly and knowledgeable. Had us back on the road in a couple of hours. Great place, great service! Thank you!

Just had an oil change and tire rotation on our '21 Colorado. The service included a quick inspection of the major systems, lube all hinges and the windshield washer fluid was even topped off. All of that for a very reasonable price. Everyone I dealt with was friendly and knowledgeable. I am extremely happy with my experience at Mitchell Chevrolet.

My Tahoe battery died while we were up for the race at Snowshoe.. The owner himself drove up with a jump box to jump me off within an hour of calling in. I personally work at a GM dealership and thrive to have the customer service these guys have.

Car probs while in West Va, got immediate help, they knew immediately what the problem was. Fixed it, and we were in and out in less than 30 min. And they didn't even charge us! If I lived closer, I would gladly pay them to take car of my car.

I was traveling from Nashville TN to Snowshoe WV about 2 hours from Snowshoe my truck went into power reduction mode. I called Mitchell's and they said to stop by. Luckily I got there before they closed. The service department was amazing, they dropped what they were doing and worked to get my back on the road asap! Super friendly and they fixed my truck and no problems since. Thank you!

I HIGHLY recommend Mitchell Chevrolet. My alternator died 40 miles outside of Marlinton. I pulled into Mitchell Chevrolet late on a Saturday afternoon when the shop was shutting down. I had another 45 miles to go to our lodging in Millsboro, VA and the owner, Sam, confirmed my car wasn't charging and likely would not make it back to Millsboro. The part was not in stock and could have taken days to get. Sam hooked me up to the charger to get the battery back to the level so I could get back to out lodging. He also gave me a battery pack for the trip back in case the battery died. And, he wouldn't take anything for his services. He just wanted to see me get back safely. Sam is a genuine decent guy who I would trust servicing my vehicle and to not take advantage of a customer. All which he could have done to me easily given my situation. He even gave me a tip on what to check when I got back and it worked. I was able to get back home in SE VA without an expensive tow or repair bill. Thank you Sam!

Great people no matter what you need. Weather it be a vehicle or the support they give the community. Every vehicle I have owned in the last thirty five years have came from this dealership. That comes with the knowledge that they will be there for you no matter where you are.

I bought my first vehicle that I ever owned from them and they gave me top dollar for my trade. They also worked with me to find the best rebates and interest rate that I could possibly get. My sister got her first car there too and I was with her in the appointment. The computer system was “taking long than it should have” so they ended up giving her $100 cash to go out to eat afterwards for her trouble. October 2019, I was driving a Church Van from North Carolina through Marlinton. It was early in the day and the tire light came on indicating the tire pressure wasn't right. I saw Mitchell Chevrolet and pulled in to ask for help. The gentleman who came to our aid was an Angel sent by GOD. He took care of the tire issue at no charge and sent us on our way relieved that all was well. If I am not mistaken I believe the man was the owner. I still remember his help and provision. I pray for him often because GOD brings him to my mind as I go about my day.
I look forward to stopping by again this October. Just to say thank you.

3 years later and I still only buy my cars through Mitchell’s. I just got a brand new 2022 Midnight Edition Trax awd and I can’t say thank you enough for the staff that helped me. Jane is great! So is the finance department. 10/10 for customer service and support.
