This was a really professional group. The roof was done in just one day. I couldn’t believe how fast it was. Hard workers. Kennedy and Jim were also a pleasure to work with. I’m really glad that I had these guys do my roofing. It’s nice to find a local guy. The chimney flashing also looks great. I had pre-estimate and this was the only company that was going to put metal in the valleys. But I know this for Wisconsin it’s important to have that metal. They promised me that they would not take any shortcuts and they were true to their word.

Milwaukee Roofing did an excellent job with the roof, gutters, soffit, and facia. I would happily use them in the future and gladly refer them to anyone!

Energy Masters not only completed my roof replacement work on time, as promised, they take time to explain the work they are doing and why. Plus, they came on a weekend 6 months later and repaired a section of fascia that a prior contractor had incorrectly installed, solving my problem less than an hour after I reached out to them. That is superior service, above and beyond our original contract. Very impressive!

Had a great consultation with Jim to assess some gutter and roof concerns. Was able to review the whole house situation and talk through multiple options. Had quotes from 3 companies, one of which was Energy Masters. The owner Jim was the only human I spoke with and the other estimates were crazy insane pricing! Showed one to Jim and he got mad because they wanted to put tar (or something like that) on my extension roof which I guess is only supposed to be for commercial use PLUS I told them that the extension did NOT need any work on it. I was strictly looking for shingles on the main house. So, of course I went with Energy Masters who had not only the best price but pointed out what I did and did not need. The more I got to know him the more I knew I made the right choice before he even did the work. The day of the work Kennedy and Jim stopped by and the crew was amazing! My roof is simply stunning and I will be using them for future work on Windows and other services they offer.

I couldn’t give Jim a star rating of five because this is for a consult only. I did not have any work done. Therefore I cannot rate the companies work.
I placed a call to energy Masters and Jim answered the phone which in itself is unusual to get a live person. He listened to my potential problem and came out within three hours to give me an estimate. Turns out I did not need anything done which and itself is again very unusual because he was honest and did not sell me anything I did not need.

I highly recommend Jim. He is obviously well-versed in proper roofing techniques, options for different house styles, flashing, attic ventilation and so much more regarding weather protection. And fun to talk to! A real professional.

This review is long-overdue. I had Jim/Energy Masters replace the roof of a ranch-style home I bought in March 2022 that needed to be repaired or replaced immediately in order to retain home insurance. Jim worked quickly in both scheduling us (with continuing great communication), and completing the job. Energy Masters fully replaced the roof in one day. (And came back a different day to replace the gutters.) Our neighbors commented on how "great a job" they did. The workers also did an excellent job with cleanup -- I didn't find any nails on the lawn afterward. Jim knows his 'house science,' and will speak to you honestly and enthusiastically about it. (Seriously, read some of the blogs on their website, or watch the videos posted on FB.) I'm pleased with my new (well, now, 2-yr old) roof, and also love the extra venting (including a cool turbine, aka "whirlybird" vent) that was added. Thanks Jim, and crew! We just hired Energy Masters to put on a new roof on our Brown Deer home ! They did a fantastic job ripping our old one off, putting on a new roof with durable shingles and a new active turbine vent up top inplace of the ridge vent, and a great clean up after. Got the whole job done in less than a day. Was very grateful for how helpful and knowledgeable Jim and his son Kennedy were. I learned a ton and we're excited about our new, beautiful and more energy efficient roof atop our first home!

I developed a leak in my roof, and not only were they out in a timely fashion (given the weather in Wisconsin) but they also put a band aid on the problem to help stop it until we could take the next step. They were willing to discuss different options with me and put together a plan for the roof as well as a few other related items I had been putting off (those add ons were my suggestions, not part of their sales pitch). Easy to talk to through the whole process!

Energy Masters did an excellent job replacing my roof and gutters. Three years after the job was finished I had water leaking in through the ridge vent in the garage. Jim came out and diagnosed the issue as being a shallow pitch roof combined with a strong wind. He fixed the problem immediately - no more issues.

It's been a little over a year since our new rain gutter installation. The whole process was fast and professional. We decided on energy masters after seeing how quickly they handled a glass block window installation on a neighbors house. They responded promptly and gave us a great estimate, time table, as well as many other home related tips to help guide in future decisions. Our gutter installation went just as promised. The installer was very knowledgeable and even tweaked the downspout plan while staying on budget. He was done in two days and everything gutter related on my house is now in perfect shape. Thanks again to the crew at energy masters. We hope to have you back summer 24 for glass block and maybe a few other projects.

I reached out to Jim after being recommended through a mutual friend. We knew a new roof was something we’d have to do in the not too distant future, but was not on our 2023 bingo card until leaking occurred after some large storms. Jim came out to our home that week and spent over an hour doing a walkthrough, as well as explaining in detail the faulty areas and how a better solution would mitigate our problem spots in the future. Jim was able to order materials and schedule a same-day tear down and install within a week. Jim also spent time with us after the install inspecting his team’s work and showing us the work that was done. I cannot thank them enough for getting this project done before the winter season. We will certainly be reaching out when the time comes for new windows, siding and gutters.

I called Energy Masters to get an estimate to replace windows in my house. I got a call back very quickly but after I returned the phone call and told them I only need to replace 3 windows, company went silent. I will tell you that - my project may be small now, but when the big one comes along, I will be sure to put you on my black list and not call you for an estimate. Not bothering to return my call and explain why you don't want to take my project tells me a lot about your customer service which apparently doesn't exist.

Nope you got it all wrong Jim. No fascia repairs of any kind were requested. Just 3 windows is all I asked for from the very beginning and I don't live on Bremmen Street.

I had my roof done by energy masters in 2016. I had a thorough consultation with Jim. The work stared on time and was finished with all the cleanup done before I came back home in the early evening. I had never seen a roofing job done in one day before. Seven years later and still great!

Jim and Energy Masters just put a new roof on my home. This is probably close to the 10th project he has done at my house. I’ve replaced every window, re-routed gutters, installed a new flat roof, now a new shingle roof, installed glass block basement windows, and various other issues such as siding repair, etc. I’ve lived in my home since 2007 and Jim is the only contractor that I’ve stayed with for that entire time. He’s responsive, honest, and runs a very professional operation. In a world where too many take advantage of people and throw up shoddy work product Jim and Energy Masters stands out as model contractor.

I had Energy Masters come out to give an estimate on a small roofing project at our new home. They were on time, very professional, and did a great job answering all of our questions.

Energy Masters installed a new roof after storm damage. Their crew was efficient and kept us informed as they went about their job. We added extras to the job to protect against ice damage, and also rebuilt soffit. The job was quality… the labor was very customer-conscious, and the job foreman and owner were in continuous contact with us. The job was completed at least 5 years ago and still is holding-well… highly recommend Energy Masters for your roofing needs, with an owner who is hands-on.

I selected Energy Masters based on ratings on another app and because I had a significant amount of work that I wished to have done related to either roofing or energy conservation. I had glass block windows installed in my basement (beautifully done), the space in the roof above my family room totally insulated (it had none at all in my early '60s home and is now comfortable year round), my garage roof totally stripped down and replaced (had more than 3 layers of shingles with the original layer still in place and leaks along the side going into the existing gutters), and new gutters and gutter guards installed on the garage. Each team working on these projects were professionals, efficient and courteous, and the work was done right the first time every time. My neighbors were in awe of the roof replacement team, having waited weeks to have the shingles installed on their new garage the previous year. There were no stray nails, bits of paper or shingle left behind. I cannot say enough good things about this company. You may not get the lowest quote for the job from them, but you will get the highest quality for your investment.

Jim had his team here on time. A tear off and replacement of my roof was completed in one day. The team was professional. They didn't mind my watching and asking questions. The team cleaned up my yard after they were done with the roof. Everything Jim said that was going to be done was completed to my satisfaction. He has gained my trust so much that I am hiring him for another roofing project.

We found out about Milwaukee Roofing via word of mouth from friends, and have passed their contacts on to other friends, all of whom are very happy. We got several other quotes, too, and wound up choosing Milwaukee Roofing for our roof replacement. They have a better understanding of venting and heat transfer. The crew was great and the job was done in one day. Would work with again (am working with them again on some storm damage).

Jim and Kennedy and their crew have done excellent work for us! Their company may not be the least expensive (due to past experience with Energy Masters, we didn't even get another estimate), but I felt we paid a fair price for very thorough, high quality work that will last for years.

UPDATE: We had a small problem develop with our gutter guards, due to finer particulate from our trees than anticipated. Kennedy came out and replaced nearly all of it with an upgraded product! I'm very impressed with how EnergyMasters stands behind their work!

We are absolutely thrilled with our new roof from Energy Masters!

We contacted Energy Masters with an inquiry and got a quick response, had a meeting setup with Jim that same day. We met with Jim later in the afternoon with he and Kennedy. Jim explained our options, the products available, and benefits of each while Kennedy took measurements and assessed the existing roof. An estimate was written up after we had made some decisions and everything was set. We are very pleased with the suggestion of roof color and quality we ended up choosing, it really changed the curb appeal of our house dramatically! The crew was courteous and fast. They did a fantastic job cleaning up afterwards and the work was done within 2 days even with weather delays. We couldn't be any happier with our new roof! If we need any other work done on our house, Energy Masters will be the first we'll call!

Wow. I wish all professions had this same degtee of commitment and follow through. Every concern and questions and idea was address fast and completely. The work was executed extremely timely and exceeded all my expections. The crew was fast and knowledgeable and very polite. The roof job was basicly completed in 1.5 days. This included 4 layers removed and total redeck of roof.

Considering the scope this was amazing. I was on site the whole time and was anazed how well the crew, work process and materals delivery was executed. Clean up was done and place was cleaner then when they started.
